Abstract
【解決手段】屋根土は、細かい粒子の珪石、すなわち珪砂を主材料とし、それに石灰、炭酸カルシウム及び少量のつなぎ材、硬化遅延剤を混合し、適量の水で混練してペースト状としたものである。珪石は、主としてSiO2(石英)からなり、その細かい粒子状のものが珪砂である。この珪砂は多孔質であり、山砂に比べて軽量である。そのため、その粒子を使用した屋根土は、後述する通り、山砂を使用した従来の屋根土より軽量となる。しかも、特性としては山砂を使用した従来の屋根土と同等或いはそれ以上のものが得られた。

Description
以下、本発明を実施するための最良の形態について、実施例をあげて詳細に説明する。
硬化遅延材としては、オキシカルボン酸塩などにより珪砂に被膜を作り、水との反応を一時的に抑えるものが使用される。
珪砂が59.3重量%、石灰が12.5重量%、炭酸カルシウムが28.1重量%、つなぎ材が0.05重量%、硬化遅延剤が0.05重量%を混ぜ合わせ、これら混合体に対して重量比約1.75の水を加えて均一に混練し、屋根土を得た。
さらに別のテストピースを30日(720時間)真水に浸漬し、浸漬した後の外観検査をしたところ、表1に示すように、何れも崩れ等の損傷は無かった。
Claims (1)
- 屋根の野地の上に載せて、屋根瓦を保持するための屋根土であって、細かい粒子の珪石を主材料とし、それに石灰、炭酸カルシウム及び少量のつなぎ材、硬化遅延剤を混合し、適量の水で混練してペースト状としたことを特徴とする屋根土。
