Description

The present invention relates to a gaming machine that includes a display device that displays an image related to a game, and a game board that is disposed in front of the display device and includes a gaming area that is transparent and can visually recognize the image.

In recent years, in a gaming machine having a display device in a game area of a game board where game balls flow down, the display area of the display device tends to be expanded for the purpose of improving visual interest. Although the game area is eroded contrary to the enlargement of the display area, for example, a gaming machine described in Patent Document 1 is already known as a technique for securing a sufficient game area.

In other words, by forming the game board with a transparent member and arranging a display device on the back side of the game board, a wide game area can be secured on the game board, and the display area behind the game board can be secured. Various images such as displayed character information can be viewed.

In this type of gaming machine, since it is necessary to ensure the visibility of the image behind the gaming board, for example, as described in Patent Literature 2 as well as Patent Literature 1, it is arranged in the gaming area. The role of the three-dimensional structure or the like was also made of a transparent material.
By the way, in general, in gaming machines, in addition to arranging an accessory in a game area, a three-dimensional decorative member imitating a character or the like is installed on the board surface of the game board to decorate the board surface. Such a decorative member is usually made of an opaque material so as to be conspicuous.

特開2005−28120号公報JP 2005-28120 A 特開2000−116873号公報JP 2000-116873 A

As described above, the conventional three-dimensional decorative member is usually formed of an opaque material. However, as described in Patent Document 1, in a gaming machine in which a transparent game board is provided in front of the display device. In adopting a three-dimensional decorative member for a game board, it is necessary to ensure the visibility of an image displayed on the display device in a state where the decorative member is disposed.

For this reason, it is conceivable that the decorative member is formed of a transparent material in the same manner as the accessory described in Patent Document 1. However, when the decorative member becomes transparent, the presence on the game board becomes poor, and the decorative member is Despite the significance of decorating the board, there is a possibility that the player cannot easily grasp the position and shape of the decorative member.

The present invention has been made paying attention to the problems of the conventional technology as described above, and even if the display device is located behind the decorative member arranged on the game board, the display device displays the display device. An object of the present invention is to provide a gaming machine that can ensure the visibility of the image to be played, emphasize the presence of the decorative member on the game board, and make the presence stand out from the player Yes.

The present invention operates as follows.
According to the gaming machine (1) described in [1], an image displayed on the display device (50) behind the gaming board (2) is visually recognized through the gaming area (3) having transparency. In addition, the game board (2) has a decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) formed of a light emitting material behind the front so that the game board (2) does not protrude above the front. It arranges in. Since the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) does not narrow the game ball movement space in which the game ball moves on the front surface of the game area (3), the game area (3) having a sufficient space is not provided. It is possible to secure a three-dimensional structure with a high degree of freedom in the game area (3).

When the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) receives light from the light source (440), the light is irregularly reflected or refracted in the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25). Since the entire member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) emits light, even the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) having transparency can be made to stand out visually and appear. . Therefore, even if the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) is disposed behind the front surface of the game board (2), the decorative member (20, 21) passes through the game board (2) having permeability. , 22, 24, 25) can be realized by the player. When the light source (440) is not lit, it is displayed on the display device (50) behind the game board (2) having transparency and the decorative members (20, 21, 22, 24, 25). Can be visually recognized.

The light source (440) is controlled to perform an effect related to the game by a control means electrically connected via the signal line (420). According to such a form of electrical connection, unlike an optical fiber that supplies only light, wiring is performed in front of the display device (50) without impairing the visibility of display on the display device (50). Is also possible. Therefore, the degree of freedom in designing the wiring path is also increased, and the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 22) is configured so that the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) emits light without causing any trouble in the light source (440). , 24, 25) can be arranged at an arbitrary position between the foremost end of the display device (50).

According to the gaming machine (1) described in the above [2], the game board (2) is formed with a recess (20a) or a penetrating hole (20b) that is recessed forward from the back side. The members (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) are formed in a shape that fits into the recess (20a) or the hole (20b). Thereby, the space for providing the three-dimensional decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) can be reduced by using at least a part of the space within the thickness of the game board (2). And the overall thickness of the gaming machine (1) can be reduced.

According to the gaming machine (1) described in [3], the decorative member (24, 25) is included in the case body (23a, 23b, 23) formed of a transparent material having permeability. A part of the outer surface of the case body (23a, 23b, 23) is an adhesive surface that adheres to the game board (2). Thereby, it becomes possible to form a decorative member (24, 25) in a complicated shape, and attachment to a game board (2) also becomes easy.

In particular, the decorative members (24, 25) can be easily bonded to the game board (2) via the case bodies (23a, 23b, 23). Further, the decoration members (24, 25) can be easily changed with respect to the standardized case bodies (23a, 23b, 23), and different decoration members (24, 25) are arranged on the game board (2). However, it is possible to unify the configuration of the attachment points of the case bodies (23a, 23b, 23) such as the shape of the recess (20a) of the game board (2).

According to the gaming machine (1) described in [4] above, the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) is placed at a position overlapping the display device (50) located behind the gaming board (2). Arrange. Thereby, for example, by turning on the light source (440) linked to the effect of the image, the effect of causing the image to appear and disappear from the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) or the image as the decorative member (20 , 21, 22, 24, 25) can be realized. In addition, the decorative member (20, 21, 22, 24, 25) has transparency that allows the image displayed on the display device (50) to be visually recognized when not emitting light, and thus does not hinder the visual recognition of the image. .

According to the gaming machine of the present invention, the decorative member formed of the light emitting material, when receiving the light from the light source, diffuses or refracts the light internally, and the entire decorative member emits light. Even members can be made to stand out visually and appear. Therefore, even if the decorative member is disposed behind the front surface of the game board, the player can feel the presence of the decorative member through the permeable game board. In addition, when the light source is not lit, an image displayed on the display device behind can be viewed through a transparent game board or decorative member.

Further, since the light source is electrically connected to the control means via the signal line, unlike the case of connecting with an optical fiber that supplies only light, the visibility of the display in the display device behind is not impaired. Therefore, it is possible to perform wiring in front of the display device, and the degree of freedom in designing the wiring path is increased. Further, since the decorative member is arranged behind the front surface so as not to protrude on the front surface in the game board, the game ball moving space in which the game ball moves on the front surface of the game area is not reduced, and the degree of freedom is increased. It is possible to arrange a three-dimensional structure with high height.

In the present embodiment, since the transparent synthetic resin is for constituting the game board 2, game nails, windmills, and the like are disposed on the transparent synthetic resin. Therefore, in addition to nailing and nail adjustment, there is an impact of a game ball and the like, and considering the durability as the game board 2, the above-described specific transparent synthetic resin is not limited to the use of only one type, but a plurality of types It is preferable to improve the durability of the game board 2 by mixing them. Even in this case, it is preferable that the total light transmittance has transparency of 80% or more as described above.

A game area 3 in the game board 2 is formed in a substantially circular shape on the front side of the game board 2 and is surrounded by a guide rail 9 that guides a game ball launched by the operation of the handle 8, and the front is the glass. Covered by a plate 4. The game area 3 includes a pair of decorative members 20 formed of a light emitting material obtained by mixing a light scattering agent that scatters light into a transparent material, in addition to the accessory members 11 and 12 formed of a transparent material having transparency. 20 is arranged.

The accessory members 11 and 12 are provided so as to protrude on the front surface of the game board 2, and are separated from the scissors member 11 disposed at an upper position near the center of the game area 3 and below the scissors member 11. And the stage member 12 arranged in the same manner. The decorative member 20 is disposed behind the front surface so as not to protrude on the front surface of the game board 2, and a pair of left and right decorative members 20 disposed at positions partially overlapping both side ends of the saddle member 11, 20. In addition, since the collar member 11 is formed of a transparent material, the structure of the decorative member 20 arranged so as to partially overlap behind is actually visible, but in FIG. 2, the decorative member overlapping the collar member 11 is visible. A part of 20 is not shown.

In addition, the game area 3 includes various winning ports such as a start winning port 31 and a grand winning port 32, a windmill and a number of game nails, which are not shown in the figure but which change the falling direction of the game ball, decorative lamps and LEDs. Etc. are arranged respectively. Further, at the lowermost part of the game area 3, there is provided an out port 33 through which a game ball that has fallen without entering any bonus is discharged to the outside.

The start winning port 31 among the various winning ports is a winning port that secures the right to execute the display game on the display device 50 based on the winning of the game ball, and the large winning port 32 performs an opening / closing operation as a special gaming state. It is a winning mouth to perform. When the game balls win various winning holes, the winning balls are detected by switches attached to the respective winning holes, and a predetermined number of winning balls assigned to the winning holes are paid out each time a winning ball is detected.

The accessory member 11 and the stage member 12 are each formed of a transparent material having permeability, and are disposed so as to protrude on the front surface of the game board 2 (game area 3). In the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, the saddle member 11 and the stage member 12 are all protruded on the front surface of the game board 2 in the respective configurations. As the transparent material for forming the accessory members 11 and 12, a transparent synthetic resin may be adopted as in the game board 2.

The heel member 11 has a game above it so that the game ball does not pass in front of a symbol variation area 51 (see FIG. 3) that performs an important display on the display device 50 disposed behind the game board 2. This prevents the ball from falling. The stage member 12 guides the game ball that has been prevented from being guided downward (guided) by the gutter member 11 into the start winning opening 31.

The decorative member 20 is formed of a light emitting material obtained by mixing a light scattering agent that scatters light into a transparent material, and is disposed behind the front surface so as not to protrude on the front surface of the game board 2. In the present embodiment, the decorative member 20 is formed in a three-dimensional shape simulating a rose flower. Specifically, the decorative member 20 is formed by filling a light emitting material in a recess 20a (see FIG. 5) formed so as to be recessed in the shape of a rose from the back side of the game board 2 toward the front. It is configured.

As shown in FIG. 8, the decorative member 20 is formed with a flange portion 121 protruding forward with a predetermined width along the peripheral edge of the front portion 120, and a plate-like shape is formed on the front side of the front portion 120. Rose petals are formed by combining these parts in multiple stages. In the decorative member 20, the back surface of the front portion 120 that is continuous on the same plane as the back surface of the game board 2 is a light incident surface. In addition, as described above, the decorative member 20 is formed by filling the concave portion 20a formed on the back side of the game board 2 with the light emitting material, that is, by pouring the molten light emitting material into a solid, and forming the decorative member 20 as a single item. It may be previously formed of a light emitting material, and this may be fitted into the recess 20a later.

As the light emitting material forming the decorative member 20, for example, a light emitting synthetic resin in which a light scattering agent is mixed with a transparent synthetic resin is suitable. Such a light-emitting synthetic resin has transparency so that an image displayed on the display device 50 can be visually recognized when no light is emitted. Specifically, for example, a highly transparent polycarbonate resin light scattering agent may be mixed with a highly transparent acrylic resin. Note that the accessory members 11 and 12 described above may also be formed of a light emitting material instead of the transparent synthetic resin.

The production method of the light-emitting synthetic resin, the blending ratio of the light scattering agent to the transparent synthetic resin, etc. are not particularly limited. For example, there is a method in which a light scattering agent is mixed in advance with a transparent synthetic resin in a liquid and the light scattering agent is evenly dispersed using an ultrasonic generator or the like. There are also mixing with a Henschel mixer, mixing with a super floater, mixing with a tumbler, and the like.

As for the blending ratio, it is preferable that the transmittance of the light-emitting synthetic resin becomes transparent with a total light transmittance of 80% or more when mixed, but in this embodiment, when the light-emitting synthetic resin is not emitting light, The blending ratio of transparency that allows the image displayed on the display device 50 to be visually recognized may be used.

The light scattering agent may refract, reflect, disperse, and birefringent light, and the particle size is preferably 0.1 to 50 μm. The shape of the light scattering agent is not particularly limited, and a spherical shape, a spherical shape, a planar fan shape, a cubic shape, a planar rhombus shape, a hexagonal crystal shape, an indefinite shape, or the like is used. Specific examples of the light scattering agent include barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, silica, alumina, magnesia, mica, talc, aluminum hydroxide, titanium oxide, glass beads, and calcium silicate.

Furthermore, it is preferable to use light scattering agents such as hollow crosslinked fine particles made of a highly transparent resin material such as methacrylic resin, polycarbonate resin, MS resin, and cyclic olefin resin, and hollow fine particles made of glass. The light scattering agent mixed with the transparent synthetic resin is not limited to one type, and a plurality of types of light scattering agents having different refractive indexes may be mixed. Further, when coloring the luminescent synthetic resin, the luminescent synthetic resin may be colored by mixing dyes and pigments such as augmented plastics and rubber additives. However, when the luminescent synthetic resin is not emitting light, it is preferable that an image can be visually recognized through the luminescent synthetic resin.

具体的には例えば、ガラス(樹脂)基板にSOLED(transparent Stacked OLED)を備えた光源が適する。   The light source for causing the decorative member 20 to emit light may be anything as long as it emits light. For example, an LED, a light bulb, an EL, or the like can be used as the light source. In the case of the present embodiment, since the light source is disposed in front of the display device 50, it is preferable that the light source does not reduce the visibility of the display content of the display device 50 when the light source is not emitting light. . Specifically, for example, a light source including a SOLED (transparent stacked OLED) on a glass (resin) substrate is suitable.

The configuration of the light emitting part of the SOLED is such that the RGB light emitting layers are arranged vertically and the respective light emitting layers and the transparent electrodes are stacked, so that the area thereof can be small. Each light emitting layer can be controlled to emit color light. This SOLED is generally used for an organic EL display or the like and corresponds to one pixel.

Of course, the types of light sources are not limited to these, and other small chip LEDs or the like can also be used. Chip LED is comprised from the light emitting element mounted on the lead terminal. Regarding the type of the light source, in short, when the light source is arranged in front of the symbol variation area 51 of the display device 50, the size is small enough to not disturb the visual recognition of the image when the light source is not emitting light. I need it.

The light source is disposed between the foremost end of the decorative member 20 and the display device 50 in order to cause the decorative member 20 to emit light. When the light source emits light, the light efficiently enters the decorative member 20. Installed in a state where it can be incorporated. Here, the foremost end of the decorative member 20 is an end portion of the decorative member 20 that is located in the foremost position in a state in which the decorative member 20 is disposed on the game board 2, and is in a relative positional relationship with the player. This is the closest part of the decorative member 20 to the player sitting in front of the gaming machine 1. That is, the light source may be provided inside the decorative member 20 as long as it is between the foremost end of the decorative member 20 and the display device 50.

The light source is electrically connected to control means described later via a signal line (power line). Here, as the signal line, there are a general method using a cable, a method using a transparent substrate such as a so-called flexible substrate, and a method of directly mounting a signal line on the game board 2. When using a cable, since the cable is positioned in front of the display device 50, the light source and the control means are connected using a thin cable that does not impair the visibility of the image displayed on the display device 50. Will do.

When a transparent substrate is used, the light source and the control means can be connected without impairing visibility even if the transparent substrate is provided in front of the display device 50. In the present embodiment, an example in which a transparent substrate is used for connection between the light source and the control means is shown. 4 is an enlarged rear view of the game board 2, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. A transparent substrate 40 is provided on the back surface of the game board 2 corresponding to the mounting position of the decorative member 20. In FIG. 5, the light source is provided in close contact with the decorative member 20 (the light incident surface thereof). As shown in FIG. 5, the display device 50 behind the game board 2 may be arranged at a predetermined distance from the back surface of the game board 2 or may be arranged close to the game board 2.

FIG. 6 is a front view of the transparent substrate 40. The transparent substrate 40 has a flexible thin plate shape that can be attached along the back surface of the game board 2, and a connector connection portion 450 for fitting with a connector is provided on one end side thereof. . A plurality of chip LEDs 440 serving as a light source are provided on the surface of the transparent substrate 40 so as to correspond to the shape of the light incident surface of the decorative member 20. Here, the chip LED 440 is connected on a transparent pattern (wiring pattern) made of the transparent conductive film layer 420 as described in detail below.

FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram of the transparent substrate 400 constituting the transparent substrate 40 itself. FIG. 7A is a schematic diagram showing the layer structure of the transparent substrate 400. FIG. 7B1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a cross section of the transparent substrate 400 into which the chip LED 440 is preliminarily incorporated, and FIG. 7B2 is a schematic diagram illustrating the front of the transparent substrate 400 into which the chip LED 440 is preliminarily incorporated. FIG. 7C1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a cross section of the transparent substrate 400 to which the chip LED 440 is retrofitted, and FIG. 7C2 is a schematic diagram illustrating the front of the transparent substrate 400 to which the chip LED 440 is retrofitted.

The transparent substrate 400 includes a transparent resin (glass) layer 410, a transparent conductive film layer 420, and a transparent insulating protective film layer 430. The transparent conductive layer 420 is vapor-deposited on the back surface of the transparent resin layer 410, and this transparent conductive film is formed. In order to protect the film layer 420, the transparent conductive film layer 420 is sandwiched by the transparent insulating protective film layer 430. Electric power is supplied to the light source by the transparent conductive film layer 420 in the transparent substrate 400.

As the generally known transparent conductive film layer 420, ITO (indium tin oxide), zinc oxide, tin oxide or the like is used. As a vapor deposition method, vacuum vapor deposition, cluster beam vapor deposition, arc plasma vapor deposition, or the like is common. As another manufacturing method, the transparent conductive film layer 420 may be deposited on the surface of the transparent resin layer 410 by a sputtering method, a sol-gel method, a PLD method, or the like. At this time, in the case of FIGS. 7B1 and 7B2, a chip LED 440 serving as a light source is provided in advance in the transparent conductive film layer 420.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 7 (c1) and 7 (c2), when the chip LED 440 is retrofitted, a hole-like shape for attaching the chip LED 440 to the transparent insulating protective film layer 430 filled with diagonal lines in the drawing. A space (outlined portion) is formed. Even if the chip LED 440 is incorporated in the transparent substrate 400 in advance or retrofitted, whether or not the chip LED 440 protrudes on the surface of the transparent substrate 400 is designed depending on the thickness or presence of the transparent insulating protective film layer 430. It is only a matter of interest.

By the way, the above-described method of directly mounting the signal line of the light source on the game board 2 is to configure the portion of the transparent resin layer 410 of the transparent substrate 400 as the game board 2 as it is. Therefore, if the thickness of the transparent resin layer 410 is increased and the thickness of the entire transparent substrate 400 shown in FIG. 7A is configured to be approximately the same as the thickness of the general game board 2, the signal line of the light source can be obtained. It will be equipped directly on the game board 2.

Needless to say, when the transparent conductive film layer 420 is formed on the surface side of the game board 2, the arrangement pattern of the transparent conductive film layer 420 is formed in consideration of the arrangement of the game nails provided in the game area 3. . Further, depending on durability of the transparent substrate 400, the transparent insulating protective film layer 430 can be omitted.

FIG. 8 is an exploded perspective view showing a state in which the decorative member 20 is attached to the transparent substrate 40. The front surface side of the front portion 120 of the decorative member 20 is not a flat shape but is shaped like a rose by combining plate-shaped parts in a multi-stage shape. All are arranged so as to be parallel to the front surface, and a rounded shape is not used as much as possible in the same plane direction as the front surface of the game board 2.

This is to prevent the refraction of light from changing in the rounded shape and causing the image displayed on the display device 50 behind the image to appear distorted. Since the decorative member 20 is made of a light emitting synthetic resin, not only the front surface side of the front portion 120 but also the entire outer surface emits light. The transparent substrate 40 may be bonded to the back surface of the front portion 120 of the decorative member 20 or the back surface of the game board 2 using a transparent adhesive.

FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram for explaining the positional relationship between the mounting position of the chip LED 440 with respect to the game board 2 and the light incident surface of the decorative member 20. In the example shown in FIG. 9A, the decoration member 20 is provided in the recess 20 a on the back side of the game board 2, and the light incident surface that is the back surface of the decoration member 20 is flush with the back surface of the game board 2. It is connected to the top. The transparent substrate 400 has chip LEDs 440 embedded therein, and the chip LEDs 440 are attached to the back surface of the game board 2 so as to face the light incident surface of the decorative member 20. This example of attachment corresponds to the example of attachment shown in FIG.

In the example shown in FIG. 9B, the decoration member 20 is provided in the recess 20 a on the back side of the game board 2, and the light incident surface that is the back surface of the decoration member 20 is more than the back surface of the game board 2. There is a space between the light incident surface of the decorative member 20 and the back surface of the game board 2 at a deep position in the recess 20a. The transparent substrate 400 has chip LEDs 440 embedded therein, and the chip LEDs 440 are attached to the back surface of the game board 2 so as to face the light incident surface of the decorative member 20.

In the example shown in FIG. 9C, the decorative member 20 is disposed so as to protrude entirely on the back surface of the game board 2, and the transparent substrate 400 is directly on the light incident surface that is the back surface of the decorative member 20. Installed. The transparent substrate 400 has chip LEDs 440 embedded therein, and the chip LEDs 440 are directly attached to the light incident surface of the decorative member 20 in a state of facing the light incident surface of the decorative member 20.

In the example shown in FIG. 9D, the decoration member 20 is disposed so as to protrude entirely on the back surface of the game board 2, and the transparent substrate 400 is directly attached to the back surface of the decoration member 20. Chip LED 440 protrudes on the surface of transparent substrate 400, and chip LED 440 is directly attached to the back surface of decorative member 20 in a state where it fits into recess 122 provided on the back surface of decorative member 20.

As described above, the light source may be disposed inside the decorative member 20, and in such a case, the light source is disposed between the foremost end (front end surface) of the decorative member 20 and the display device 50. There is no change. In the example shown in FIG. 9D, only the inner surface of the recess 122 in the decorative member 20 is regarded as the light incident surface, but it goes without saying that the entire back surface with the recess 122 may be used as the light incident surface. Further, it goes without saying that a light source may be provided inside the decorative member 20 even when the decorative member 20 is provided in the game board 2 as shown in FIG.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5, the display device 50 is disposed on the back side of the game board 2, and includes identification information (symbols) such as numbers related to the result of the display game, and an effect display of the display game. The various images related to are displayed in a variable manner. Various images including identification information displayed on the display area 50a of the display device 50 can be viewed by the player through the game area 3 of the transmissive game board 2 disposed in front of the display device 50. It has become. Specifically, the display device 50 includes, for example, a CRT (cathode ray tube) display, an organic EL display display, and the like in addition to the liquid crystal unit.

When a game ball wins the start winning opening 31, the right of display game in the display device 50 is acquired, and the display game is executed. In the display game, basically, the identification information is scrolled and changed for each of the symbol variation areas 51 (see FIG. 3) arranged in a horizontal line in the display area 50a. If the specific display mode (hereinafter also referred to as “big hit”), which is a predetermined specific combination (for example, when “555” and the like are all aligned), is determined, the big winning opening 32 has a predetermined number of times. A special gaming state occurs by repeatedly opening and closing the limit.

If a game ball wins the start winning slot 31 while the display game is being executed or the special game state is occurring, the right to execute the display game is acquired as a hold, and the display game or special game state currently in progress After ending, the rights that have been put on hold will be digested sequentially. For example, the maximum number of display games held is four. In addition, display control of various images including a display game on the display device 50 is executed by a control unit (not shown).

The control means is a means for controlling the effects related to the game. Specifically, the main board that controls the gaming machine 1 as a whole, the display control of the display device 50, and the lighting control of the LED lamp including the chip LED 440. , And an effect control board for performing overall audio output control. Such a control means is generally housed in a protective cover and attached to the back side of the game board 2, etc., and the control board is not only for the display device 50, but also for the chip LED 440 that makes up the light source, etc. Each is electrically connected via the signal lines described above.

Next, the operation of the gaming machine 1 according to the present embodiment will be described.
In FIG. 1, when the player operates the handle 8, game balls are launched one by one into the game area 3 on the game board 2. The game balls flow down on the game area 3 while changing the direction while colliding with game nails, windmills, etc., and in the middle of the game, win various prize holes. The game balls that have fallen without entering any of the winning holes in the game area 3 are discharged to the outside through the out port 33.

In FIG. 3, when a game ball wins the start winning opening 31, a display game is started on the display device 50 based on this. That is, in FIG. 3, the identification information scrolls and varies for each symbol variation area 51. When the result of the display game is determined in a specific display mode (big win), a special game state is formed in which the special winning opening 32 is repeatedly opened and closed a predetermined number of times.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5, the display device 50 is disposed behind the game board 2, and an image displayed on the display device 50 behind the game board 2 through the game area 3 having transparency. Can be visually recognized. Further, the decorative member 20 is disposed behind the front surface so as not to protrude on the front surface of the game board 2. Therefore, the decoration member 20 can secure a sufficient space of the game area 3 without narrowing the game ball moving space in which the game ball moves on the front surface of the game area 3, and the degree of freedom in the game area 3 can be secured. It enables the arrangement of high three-dimensional structures.

Since the decorative member 20 receives light from the chip LED 440 that is a light source, the light is irregularly reflected or refracted in the decorative member 20 and the entire decorative member 20 emits light. Can also be made to appear visually stand out. Therefore, even if the decoration member 20 is disposed behind the front surface of the game board 2, the player can feel the presence of the decoration member 20 through the game board 2 having transparency.

Further, when the chip LED 440 is not caused to emit light, an image displayed on the display device 50 behind can be visually recognized through the decorative member 20 and the game board 2 having transparency. Therefore, even if the area of the symbol variation region 51 of the display device 50 is enlarged, the variation symbol can be confirmed through the decorative member 20 and the accessory members 11 and 12. At this time, the decorative member 20 emits light before the symbol variation region 51 expands, and when the symbol variation region 51 expands, the decoration member 20 is turned off, and the variable symbol is transmitted through the decoration member 20 without impairing the visibility. Can be visually recognized.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the chip LED 440 that causes the decoration member 20 to emit light is electrically connected to the control means via a transparent conductive film layer 420 as a signal line. And it is controlled by the control means so as to perform an effect related to the game. According to such a form of electrical connection, unlike an optical fiber that supplies only light, the display device 50 can be wired in front of the display device 50 without impairing the visibility of the display. . Accordingly, the degree of freedom in designing the wiring path is also increased, and the chip LED 440 is disposed at an arbitrary position between the front end of the decorative member 20 and the display device 50 so that the decorative member 20 can emit light without any trouble. It becomes possible.

To supplement the optical fiber, the optical fiber has a double structure of a core called a core having a different refractive index and a sheath called a clad covering the core in order to propagate light efficiently. Since the refractive index of the core is made higher than that of the clad and light is confined and propagated in the core by total reflection, the clad is opaque, and such an optical fiber is disposed in front of the display device 50. Then, the image on the display device 50 is hidden by the optical fiber. Further, as described above, since the optical fiber has at least a double structure, it has a certain thickness and is not suitable for fine bending. In addition, when bent at a right angle, the light is reflected as it is, so that the light may not reach the tip.

FIG. 10 shows an example of attachment of the decorative member 20 to the game board 2. FIG. 10A is an example in which all parts of the configuration of the decorative member 20 are arranged on the back surface of the game board 2. In FIG. 10B, the decorative member 20 is provided in the recess 20 a on the back side of the game board 2, and the light incident surface that is the back surface of the decoration member 20 is in the recess 20 a than the back surface of the game board 2. This is an example in which there is a space between the light incident surface of the decorative member 20 and the back surface of the game board 2.

In FIG. 10C, the decorative member 20 is provided in the recess 20 a on the back side of the game board 2, and the light incident surface that is the back surface of the decorative member 20 is connected to the same plane as the back surface of the game board 2. This is an example. FIG. 10 (d) is an example in which the decorative member 20 is fitted in the recess 20 a on the back side of the game board 2, and the rear end side of the decorative member 20 protrudes rearward from the back surface of the game board 2. .

10E and 10F, the game board 2 is formed with a hole 20b penetrating in the front-rear direction, and the decorative member 20 is formed into a shape that fits into the hole 20b. . Here, in the case of (e), the front end face and the rear end face of the decorative member 20 are made to coincide with the front and back surfaces of the game board 2, respectively. In the case of (f), the decorative member 20 The front end face is flush with the front face of the game board 2, and the rear end side of the decorative member 20 is projected rearward from the back face of the game board 2.

Any of these mounting examples may be adopted, and in any case, the decorative member 20 is disposed behind the front surface so as not to protrude on the front surface of the game board 2. Further, by forming a recess 20a or a hole 20b penetrating forward from the back side of the game board 2 and forming the decorative member 20 into a shape that fits into the recess 20a or the hole 20b. By using at least a part of the space within the board thickness in the game board 2, the space for providing the three-dimensional decoration member 20 can be reduced, and the overall thickness of the gaming machine 1 can be suppressed. it can.

FIG. 11 shows a decorative member 21 constituting a character with a snowman as a motif. The decorative member 21 is configured by filling a light emitting material into a concave portion 20a formed so as to be recessed in the shape of a snowman from the back side of the game board 2 toward the front. FIG. 11A is a cross-sectional view of the game board 2 and the decoration member 21, and FIG. 11B is a rear view of the game board 2 and the decoration member 21.

The recessed portion 20a of the game board 2 is formed as a depression corresponding to only about half of the front side of the snowman character, and it is sufficient that only the front half is visible to the player. No problem. As described above, the decorative member 21 is formed by filling the concave portion 20a formed on the back side of the game board 2 with the light emitting material, that is, by pouring the molten light emitting material into a solid, and forming the decorative member 21 as a single item. It may be previously formed of a light emitting material, and this may be fitted into the recess 20a later.

FIG. 12 shows a decorative member 22 constituting a character with a shell as a motif. The decorative member 22 is included in the case bodies 23a, 23b, 23 formed of a transparent material having transparency such as the transparent synthetic resin, and a part of the outer surface of the case bodies 23a, 23b, 23 is formed. The bonding surface is bonded to the game board 2.

In FIG. 12A, the case bodies 23 a and 23 b are divided into two, and recessed portions 23 c and 23 d that match the upper and lower half sides of the decorative member 22 are formed inside each. The decorative member 22 in such a case is previously formed of a light emitting material as a single product, and this is later fitted to the case bodies 23a and 23b.

As shown on the right side of FIG. 12A, the front end surface of the case bodies 23 a and 23 b that are combined with each other is the adhesive surface 1, and the side end surface is the adhesive surface 2. Bonding by the bonding surface 1 is performed when it is disposed on the back surface of the game board 2 as shown in FIG. Further, the bonding by the bonding surface 1 and the bonding surface 2 is a case where the bonding surface 1 and the bonding surface 2 are fitted and disposed in the recess 20a of the game board 2 as shown in FIGS.

Further, the bonding by the bonding surface 2 is performed when fitted into the hole 20b of the game board 2 as shown in FIGS. 10 (e) and 10 (f). In addition, it is the same also about the case body 23 of FIG.12 (b) described below that a part of outer surface of case body 23a, 23b is made into the adhesion surface which adhere | attaches with respect to the game board 2. FIG.

In FIG. 12B, a concave portion 23e that matches the shape of the decorative member 22 is formed in advance inside the cubic case body 23, and the light emitting material dissolved therein is poured into the interior of the cubic case body 23 to harden the decorative member. 22 is formed. In such a case, a gate (communication port) for pouring the light emitting material into the recess 23 e of the case body 23 is provided on the back side of the case body 23.

As described above, the decorative member 22 is included in the case bodies 23a, 23b, and 23 formed of a transparent material having transparency, and part of the outer surfaces of the case bodies 23a, 23b, and 23 are attached to the game board 2. By using an adhesive surface to be bonded, the decorative member 22 can be formed in a complicated shape and can be easily attached to the game board 2. In particular, when the recess 20 a is not formed on the back side of the game board 2, the decorative member 22 can be easily bonded to the game board 2 through the case bodies 23 a, 23 b, and 23.

Further, the decoration member 22 can be easily changed with respect to the standardized case bodies 23a, 23b, 23, and even when a different decoration member 22 is provided on the game board 2, the shape of the recess 20a of the game board 2, etc. And the structure of the attachment location of case body 23a, 23b, 23 can be unified. For example, even when a plurality of types of decorative members 22 having different shapes are arranged on the game board 2, the concave shapes of the mounting portions of the case bodies 23a, 23b, 23 including the decorative members 22 are the same. It is possible to simplify the location.

Furthermore, when the case body 23 is used, the production of the decorative member 22 can be simplified. Here, by keeping the shape of the case body 23 constant and changing the shape of the recess 23e, another type of decorative member 22 can be easily formed. In addition, the decorative member 22 integrated with the case bodies 23a, 23b, and 23 is detachably attached to the game board 2, so that the decorative member 22 can be easily replaced with another one and the type thereof is changed. FIG. 13 shows an example in which the decorative member 24 is disposed so as to surround the normal variation area 52 in the display area 50 a of the display device 50 located behind the game board 2. The decorative member 24 is formed in a rectangular frame shape surrounding the normal fluctuation region 52. With such a decorative member 24, the normal variation region 52, which is the main part of the display region 50a, can be particularly emphasized.

FIG. 14 shows an example in which the decorative member 25 is disposed at a position overlapping the particularly important symbol variation area 51 in the display area 50a of the display device 50 located behind the game board 2. The decorative member 25 is formed in the illustrated pentagon shape having a size that covers all the three symbol variation areas 51. Thus, the decorative member 25 can be disposed in front of the particularly important symbol variation area 51 in the display area 50a. Further, when the decoration member 25 is particularly emphasized, the decoration member 25 can be emphasized by emitting light.

When the decorative member 25 is not emitting light by the light source, an image displayed on the display device 50 can be visually recognized behind the decorative member 25. Furthermore, the lighting control of the light source linked to the effect of the image can realize, for example, an effect that causes the image to appear and disappear from the decorative member 25 and an effect that hides the image with the decorative member 25.

As described above, the embodiments of the present invention have been described with reference to the drawings. However, the specific configuration is not limited to these embodiments, and the present invention can be modified or added without departing from the scope of the present invention. Included in the invention. For example, the specific shapes of the decorative members 20, 21, 22, 24, and 25 are not limited to those illustrated. In the above-described embodiment, the case where the gaming machine 1 is applied to a pachinko machine has been described. However, the gaming machine 1 is not limited to a pachinko machine, and similarly to other gaming machines 1 such as program-controlled arrangement balls. The present invention can be applied.

In the above embodiment, the entire game board 2 is made of transparent synthetic resin. However, in actuality, it is only necessary to be able to see through at least the symbol variation area 51 of the display device 50 behind the game board 2. Of these, only a circular portion corresponding to the game area 3 may be formed of a transparent synthetic resin, or only a portion of the game area 3 that overlaps the symbol variation area 51 may be formed of a transparent synthetic resin. The transparent synthetic resin is described as having a total light transmittance of 80% or more, but may actually be 80% or less as long as the image can be visually recognized. Generally, if it is 80% or more, the image can be confirmed to the extent that the transparent game board 2 does not get in the way.
