Abstract
標的組織を良好に加熱するために、患者の膣管内でエネルギー源を正確に配置する装置を提供する。
【解決手段】
標的組織を加熱する装置は、組織接触面を含むハウジングと、超音波振動子のアレイであって、前記振動子からの超音波エネルギーが前記組織接触面から既定の深さで前記標的組織に集中するような形状を有する配列面上の前記ハウジング内に設けられるアレイと、生成される前記超音波エネルギーの一部が、前記標的領域に向かって通過する間の領域内の選択された位置に配置されるデフレクター部材とを含み、前記デフレクター部材は、前記超音波エネルギーの既定の一部を屈折させて、前記アレイと前記超音波エネルギーのレベルが既定の閾値水準を超える領域の近位端部とを隔離する距離を制御する装置である。

Claims (9)
- 標的組織を加熱する装置であって、組織接触面を含むハウジングと、超音波振動子のアレイであって、前記振動子からの超音波エネルギーが前記組織接触面から既定の深さで前記標的組織に集中するような形状を有する配列面上で前記ハウジング内に設けられるアレイと、生成される前記超音波エネルギーの一部が、前記標的領域に向かって通過する間の領域内の選択された位置に配置されるデフレクター部材とを含み、前記デフレクター部材は、前記超音波エネルギーの既定の一部を屈折させて、前記アレイと前記超音波エネルギーのレベルが既定の閾値水準を超える領域の近位端部とを隔離する距離を制御する装置。
- 前記デフレクター部材が、前記配列面から前記標的領域に向かって既定の距離だけ延在する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記配列面の中心に接する面に対してに実質的に平行な面における前記デフレクター部材の外形が、前記超音波エネルギーレベルが前記既定の閾値水準未満の遮蔽領域を形成するために選択され、前記超音波エネルギーレベルが、前記デフレクター部材が存在しない場合、前記既定の閾値水準より超える、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記デフレクター部材が、前記配列面に付着される近位端部と、該近位端部よりも拡張した遠位端部を含む請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記デフレクター部材は、中心ステムから移行領域を通って徐々に外側に拡張し、実質的に円錐状の遠位端部を形成する請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記デフレクター部材は、中心ステムから急に拡張し、実質的に円盤形の遠位端部を形成する請求項4に記載の装置。
- 標的組織を加熱する装置であって、ハウジング内で、選択された形状に沿って設けられる超音波振動子のアレイであって、前記振動子からの超音波エネルギーが、該アレイからの既定の距離をもって標的領域に集中するアレイと、前記振動子のいずれかを停止して、前記アレイと前記超音波エネルギーのレベルが既定の閾値水準を超える領域の近位端部とを隔離する距離を制御する装置。
- 標的組織を加熱する装置であって、ハウジング内で、選択された形状に沿って設けられる超音波振動子のアレイであって、該振動子からの超音波エネルギーが、該アレイからの既定の距離をもって標的領域に集中するアレイと、前記振動子からの超音波エネルギーが特定の領域に到達するのを防ぎ、前記アレイと前記超音波エネルギーのレベルが既定の閾値水準を超える領域の近位端部とを隔離する距離を制御する、1個以上の前記振動子上の選択的に配置可能な遮蔽素子を含む装置。
- 標的組織を加熱する装置において、ハウジング内で設けられる超音波振動子のアレイであって、該アレイから既定の長さで前記標的組織に集中するような形状を有するアレイと、前記振動子からの超音波エネルギーの強度が既定の閾値水準を超える前記標的領域の範囲の形状が、前記標的組織で形成される傷の所望の形状に対応するように選択される前記アレイに対する形状及び位置を有するデフレクターを含む装置。
