Claims (33)
- 呼気の検体を検出する装置であって、
前記装置は、
流入通路を有し、被検者からの呼気を受容するようにされたハウジングと、
前記流入通路に保持される前記検体に反応する検体検知要素と、
被検者から前記呼気を引き出し、制御された割合で前記流入通路に通すポンプ手段と、を有する装置。 - 前記ポンプ手段は、前記流入通路の前記検体検知センサーの下流である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記流入通路に入る呼気の圧力を検出するように配置された圧力センサーを更に有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導管(前記流入通路)の中にフロー抵抗手段を更に有する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記流入通路は、第1通路と該第1通路から分岐する第2通路とを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記検体検知要素は、前記第2通路にある、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記流入通路は、前記流入通路の上流の分岐点で、前記第1通路と前記第2通路に分割し、前記第2通路は、前記流入通路の下流の分岐点で、前記第1通路に再び結合する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記流入通路は、前記流入通路の上流の分岐点で、前記第1通路と前記第2通路に分割し、前記第1と前記第2の通路は、別々に通気する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記ポンプ手段は、前記下流の分岐点の下流に単一のポンプを有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記ポンプ手段は、前記第1通路の第1ポンプと前記第2通路の第2ポンプと、を有する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記ポンプ手段は、前記第1通路の第1ポンプと前記第2通路の第2ポンプと、を有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記第2通路への流入を可能する、または第2通路への流入を妨げるように、配置されるシャットオフバルブを更に有する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記サイド通路(第2通路)にチェックバルブを更に有する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記フロー抵抗手段はオリフィスである、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記フロー抵抗手段は、可変フロー抵抗器である、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記第1通路の第1フロー抵抗器と前記第2通路の第2フロー抵抗器と、を更に有する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記第1フロー抵抗器は、可変フロー抵抗器である、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記検体検知要素は、ゾルゲル状のシトクロムCである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 被検者から呼気の検体の量を決定する方法であって、
前記方法は、前記流入装置と一体になるポンプを使用して、一定流量で前記被検者から呼気を引き出して、流入装置に流すことを含み、前記流入装置は、前記検体に反応する検知要素を有する、方法。 - 呼気圧を検知して、呼気を前記流入装置に引き入れることを更に含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記流入装置は、第1通路と、第2通路に前記検知要素を有する前記第2通路を有し、前記方法は、呼気を分割し、前記呼気を前記流入装置に引き込み、前記第1通路を通る第1ストリームと、前記第2通路を通る第2ストリームと、に引き込むことを含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 単一のポンプによって、前記第1通路と前記第2通路を通して前記呼気を引き込むことを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記通路の各々にある別のポンプによって、前記第1通路と前記第2通路を通じて、前記呼気を引き込むことを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記流入装置は前記第2ストリームにシャットオフバルブを有し、前記方法は更に選択された期間、前記第2ストリームの前記検知要素に接触する前記呼気のサンプルを、保持することを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記呼気は、5cm3/s〜11cm3/sの流量で前記第2ストリームを通して引き込まれる、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記呼気は、6cm3/s〜10cm3/sの流量で前記第2ストリームを通して引き込まれる、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記呼気は、7cm3/s〜9cm3/sの流量で前記第2ストリームを通じて引き込まれる、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記呼気は、40cm3/s〜45cm3/sの流量で前記第1ストリームを通じて引き込まれる、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記装置を通る呼気の流れが開始した後、5秒から9秒の間の間隔で、前記第2通路に流入することを可能にするように、前記シャットオフバルブを開けることを更に含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記間隔は、6秒〜8秒の間である請求項29に記載の方法。
- 1秒〜10秒の間の継続時間、前記第2通路を通る前記流れを維持することを更に含む、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記継続時間が1秒〜7秒の間である、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記継続時間が1秒〜5秒の間である、請求項31に記載の方法。
