Abstract
Description

本発明は、一般に、組織に隣接した身体の管腔内に1つまたは複数の装置を配備することにより、組織を整形する装置および方法に関する。本発明の1つの特定の用途は、患者の冠状静脈洞または大心臓静脈内に組織整形装置を配備することによる、僧帽弁逆流の治療法に関する。
本発明の1つの態様は、患者の心臓近傍の血管内に配置されて、患者の心臓を再整形するように適合された組織整形装置を提供する。組織整形装置は、拡張可能な近位側固定具と、近位側固定具を拡張された形態で係止するように適合された近位側固定具係止部と、拡張可能な遠位側固定具と、遠位側固定具を拡張された形態で係止するように適合された遠位側固定具係止部と、近位側固定具と遠位側固定具との間に配置された、実質的に矩形または実質的に楕円形の断面などの実質的に非円形の断面を有するコネクタとを有する。
Claims (19)
- 患者の心臓近傍の血管内に配置されて、前記患者の心臓を再整形するように適合された組織整形装置であって、
拡張可能な近位側固定具と、
前記近位側固定具を拡張された形態で係止するように適合された近位側固定具係止部と、
拡張可能な遠位側固定具と、
前記遠位側固定具を拡張された形態で係止するように適合された遠位側固定具係止部と、
前記近位側固定具と前記遠位側固定具の間に配置された、実質的に非円形の断面を有するコネクタと、を備える組織整形装置。 - 前記コネクタの平坦な要素が実質的に矩形の断面を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記遠位側固定具係止部が前記コネクタ内に曲げ部を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
