Abstract
Description
ここで図4を参照する。本発明の一態様によると、平面フィンは、対向・離間関係でフィンの各側面上に穿孔金属シートからなる一対の平坦な流体浸透性スクリーン16を有する。スクリーン16は、ストレーナに入る水から破片を濾去する。2つのスクリーン16は波型金属スペーサ17により分離される。スペーサ17は、剛性と強度とを与えると共にスクリーン16間にヘッダ3への流路を形成する。スクリーン16の端部は周辺フレーム18により密閉される。スクリーン16間の流路は、開放され、ヘッダ3の開口部9に嵌合するフレーム18の周縁側端部を介してヘッダ3内の密閉流路と流体連通する。フレーム18は、また、フィンの構造的強度を著しく高める。
ここで図5、6、8を参照する。本発明の別の態様によると、凹凸面フィンは、露出表面積を増加させるために波型にされた穿孔金属スクリーン19の2層から構成される。ストレーナに入った水から濾去された破片はこれらの凹凸面に堆積される。
適度に一様な流れは、中空コア渦の生成を防止するために、またストレーナ上に堆積する破片があまり密に集まらないようにするために望ましい。流れが1箇所に集中すると、破片がこの箇所で高密度なマット状に急速に蓄積することになり、したがって流れは隣接する箇所から入り高密度な床をそこにも蓄積させるのに十分なほどに流れ抵抗を増大させる。制限が無いと、これはストレーナ全体にわたって進行する可能性があり、破片が一様に蓄積した場合よりはるかに大きい圧力損失を引き起こす。
Claims (12)
- 流体から破片を濾過するストレーナにおいて、
i)吸引源と流体連通する出口と、流体の流れ方向の圧力降下を呈する密閉流路の長さに沿って配置された複数の入口開口部とを有し、前記密閉流路を画定する細長ヘッダと、
ii)前記各入口開口部に配置され、前記流路に流入する流体から破片を濾去するストレーナ素子と、
iii)前記流路に沿って相異なる位置に配置されたストレーナ素子を通過する流体の流れを略一様に維持する流量制御装置と、
を含む、ストレーナ。 - 前記流量制御装置は、前記入口開口部と前記吸引源から遠い位置にある前記流路との間の圧力降下より大きい、前記入口開口部と前記吸引源に近い位置にある前記流路との間の圧力降下を生成するオリフィスを含む、請求項1に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記オリフィスは、前記流路に流入する流体を前記流路に略平行な方向に加速するためにノズルの形状をなす、請求項2に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記オリフィスは、前記ヘッダに配置され、複数の開口部を密閉する収集水路を画定するバッフル内に形成される、請求項3に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記ヘッダは概して平坦な側壁を有し、前記入口開口部は、前記流路を横断する方向に前記側壁内に形成された一連の略平行なスロットである、請求項4に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記ストレーナ素子は、前記平坦な側壁の前記開口部から外方に突出するフィン形状をなす、請求項5に記載のストレーナ。
- 流体から破片を濾過するストレーナにおいて、
吸引源と流体連通する出口を有し、複数の入口開口スロットが形成され、密閉容積を画定するヘッダと、
各開口スロットから外方に突出し、前記流体から破片を濾去するフィン状のストレーナ素子と、を含み、前記ストレーナ素子の各々は、周辺フレームと、対向・離間関係で前記周辺フレームに固定された一対の流体浸透性スクリーンと、前記フレームの周縁側端部と前記開口スロットとを介して前記密閉容積と流体連通する少なくとも一つの流体流路と、
を含む、ストレーナ。 - 前記流体浸透性スクリーンは穿孔金属シートから形成される、請求項7に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記流体浸透性スクリーン間に配置され、前記流体浸透性スクリーンを離間関係に維持する波型金属スペーサと、前記波型金属スペーサと前記流体浸透性スクリーンとの間に画定された前記複数の流路とをさらに含む、請求項8に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記周辺フレームは前記一周縁側端部以外では流体に対して非浸透性である、請求項9に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記流体浸透性スクリーンは、それぞれ、複数の平行な山と谷とを有する波型金属メッシュから形成され、前記スクリーンは、さらに、交互の山の位置で接触することにより対向・離間関係に維持され、前記複数の流路を画定する、請求項8に記載のストレーナ。
- 前記周辺フレームは、前記一周縁側端部以外では流体に対して非浸透性である、請求項11に記載のストレーナ。
