Abstract
Description
Claims (26)
- 少なくとも1つの医療機器の少なくとも一部をコーティングする方法であって、
ポリマーを該医療機器の該部分に配置し、
生理活性物質を該医療機器の該部分に配置し、並びに
該ポリマーの配置及び該生理活性物質の配置の後に、溶媒を該医療機器の該部分にスプレーする
ことを含む、方法。 - 前記ポリマーが、ポリスチレン及びポリイソブチレンのうち1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記生理活性物質がパクリタキセルを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒が、テトラヒドロフラン、トルエン、ジメチルアセトアミド、アセトン、クロロホルム及びアルコールからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種類を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーの配置が、液状の前記ポリマーを前記医療機器にスプレーすることを含み、
前記生理活性物質の配置が、前記生理活性物質を含む乾燥粉末を前記医療機器に散布することを含み、前記生理活性物質の配置が前記ポリマーの配置の後に行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記医療機器上の前記ポリマーを乾燥してから、散布によって前記生理活性物質を配置することをさらに含み、その乾燥が、所定時間の待機、前記医療機器の加熱、及び前記医療機器上に気体を流すことの少なくとも1つによって行われる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 散布による前記生理活性物質の配置が、前記ポリマーが濡れている間に行われる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記医療機器の前記部分への前記溶媒のスプレーにより、前記生理活性物質を含む前記乾燥粉末が溶解する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記医療機器の前記部分への前記溶媒のスプレーにより、前記ポリマーが溶解する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーの配置と前記生理活性物質の配置とが、前記生理活性物質及び前記ポリマーを含む溶液を前記医療機器にスプレーすることによって同時に行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記医療機器の前記部分に前記溶媒をスプレーする前に、前記生理活性物質及び前記ポリマーを含む前記溶液を乾燥することをさらに含み、前記医療機器の前記部分への前記溶媒のスプレーにより、その溶液の乾燥したものが流動する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液の乾燥したものを流動させる、前記溶媒の後工程スプレーが、前記溶液の乾燥したものの応力を低減する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液の乾燥したものを流動させる前記溶媒の後工程スプレーが、前記溶液の乾燥したものの表面を滑らかにする、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液の乾燥したものを流動させる前記溶媒の後工程スプレーが、前記溶液の乾燥したものの中に含まれる前記生理活性物質の再配置及び再分配のいずれか一方をもたらす、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記医療機器について所望の物質放出プロファイルとなるように、前記溶媒の組成を選択することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記医療機器について物質放出プロファイルが増大するように、前記溶媒の前記組成を選択する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒がテトラヒドロフランを含み;及び
テトラヒドロフランの濃度を増加させて、前記生理活性物質を前記被膜の表面に移動させる、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記医療機器について物質放出プロファイルが減少するように、前記溶媒の前記組成を選択する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒がトルエンを含み;及び
トルエンの濃度を増加させて、前記ポリマーを前記被膜の表面に移動させる、請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記生理活性物質が、パクリタキセル、ラパマイシン、エベロリムス及びタクロリムスからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリマーを医療機器の一部に配置し、
生理活性物質を該医療機器の該部分に配置し;及び
後工程で溶媒を該医療機器の該部分にスプレーする
ことを含む方法によって適用された被膜を有する、医療装置。 - 前記方法が、前記医療装置について所望の物質放出プロファイルとなるように、前記溶媒の組成を選択することをさらに含む、請求項21に記載の医療装置。
- 前記医療機器について物質放出プロファイルが増大するように、前記溶媒の前記組成を選択する、請求項22に記載の医療装置。
- 前記溶媒がテトラヒドロフランを含み;及び
テトラヒドロフランの濃度を増加させて、前記生理活性物質を前記被膜の表面に移動させる、請求項23に記載の医療装置。 - 前記医療機器について物質放出プロファイルが減少するように、前記溶媒の前記組成を選択する、請求項22に記載の医療装置。
- 前記溶媒がトルエンを含み;及び
トルエンの濃度を増加させて、前記ポリマーを前記被膜の表面に移動させる、請求項25に記載の医療装置。
