Abstract
【解決手段】マルチ分岐受信機は、それぞれの分岐入力信号をフィルタして対応する分岐出力信号を生成する分岐フィルタを含む複数の信号分岐と、混合されたベースバンド信号を生成するために分岐出力信号を混合する混合器と、最小位相チャネル特性で受信信号を生成するように、混合されたベースバンド信号をフィルタするプレフィルタと、受信信号に含まれるデータ系列の推定を生成する等価器を備える。

Description
本発明は、セルラ基地局のように、複数のアンテナを有するGSM/EDGEシステムの受信機にとって利益がある。本発明の構造が、単一アンテナ受信機用に設計された同じハードウエア及びソフトウエアをマルチアンテナ受信機で再使用することが出来るので、また、マルチアンテナ移動局の開発に重要な役割を果たすこととなる。
Claims (18)
- 対応する分岐出力信号を生成するために、それぞれの分岐入力信号をフィルタするように構成された分岐フィルタを含み、前記分岐入力信号は単一のアンテナで受信した2つ以上の信号を備え、前記2つ以上の信号は異なるサンプル位相の2つ以上の信号サンプル系列を備える、複数の信号分岐と、
混合されたベースバンド信号を生成するために、前記分岐フィルタからの分岐出力信号を混合するように構成された混合器と、
最小位相チャネル特性を有する受信信号を生成するために、前記混合されたベースバンド信号をフィルタするように構成されたプレフィルタと、
前記混合されたベースバンド信号に含まれるデータ系列の推定を生成するために、前記受信信号を等価するように構成された等価器と、を備えるマルチ分岐受信機。 - 前記分岐入力信号は、直交及び同位相の信号を備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記分岐フィルタのそれぞれは、対応する信号分岐のチャネルインパルス応答に整合した整合フィルタを備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記等価器は、最尤系列推定等価器を備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記等価器は、決定帰還等価器を備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記等価器は、決定帰還系列推定等価器を備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記等価器は、減少状態系列推定等価器を備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記分岐入力信号の中の雑音をホワイト化するために、前記分岐フィルタの前にホワイト化フィルタを備える請求項1に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。
- 前記分岐入力信号は、オーバサンプルされた信号を備え、
前記複数の信号分岐は、各信号分岐に対して、複数の分岐出力信号を生成するために構成された直列−並列変換器をさらに備える請求項8に記載のマルチ分岐受信機。 - マルチ分岐受信機において信号を受信する方法であって、
前記方法は、
対応する分岐出力信号を生成するために、前記マルチ分岐受信機それぞれの信号分岐において複数の分岐入力信号をフィルタするステップであって、そこにおいて前記複数の分岐入力信号は、単一のアンテナで受信した2つ以上の信号を備え、さらに前記2つ以上の信号は、異なるサンプル位相の2つ以上の信号サンプル系列を備え、
混合されたベースバンド信号を生成するために、前記分岐出力信号を混合するステップと、
最小位相チャネル特性を備える受信信号を生成するために、前記混合されたベースバンド信号をプレフィルタするステップと、
前記混合されたベースバンド信号に含まれるデータ系列の推定を生成するために、前記受信信号を等価するステップと、を備える方法。 - 前記複数の分岐入力信号は、直交及び同位相の信号を備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の分岐入力信号をフィルタするステップは、対応する信号分岐のチャネルインパルス応答に整合した整合フィルタを使用して前記複数の分岐入力信号をフィルタするステップを備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号を等価するステップは、最尤系列推定等価器を使用して前記受信信号を等価するステップを備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号を等価するステップは、決定帰還等価器を使用して前記受信信号を等価するステップを備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号を等価するステップは、決定帰還系列推定等価器を使用して前記受信信号を等価するステップを備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号を等価するステップは、減少状態系列推定等価器を使用して前記受信信号を等価するステップを備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の分岐入力信号をフィルタするステップの前に、前記複数の分岐入力信号をホワイト化するステップを備える請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の分岐入力信号は、オーバサンプルされた信号を備え、
前記複数のオーバサンプルされた分岐入力信号を、複数のシンボル間隔の系列に変換するステップをさらに備える請求項10に記載の方法。
