前記X線源及び前記検出器が対象物を挟んで互いに対向するように配置した状態で、当該X線源及び検出器の対を、予め指定された標準断層面に焦点を合わせながら当該対象物の周りを移動させる移動駆動手段と、
この移動駆動手段が前記X線源及び前記検出器の対を前記対象物の周りを移動させている間に、当該検出器が出力する電気信号をフレームデータとして記憶する記憶手段と、
前記移動駆動手段によって前記X線源及び前記検出器の対が移動せられる実空間上の位置と、前記記憶手段に記憶されている複数のフレームデータとそれらのフレームデータをメモリ空間上で写像してパノラマ画像を再構成するときの写像位置とにより決まる座標上の曲線の傾きとして定義されるゲインと、の対応情報を予め取得する取得手段と、
前記取得手段により取得されている前記対応情報に基づき、前記記憶手段に記憶された前記フレームデータから前記実空間上の任意の意図した断層面のパノラマ画像を生成するパノラマ画像生成手段と、を備えたパノラマ画像撮影装置において、
