Abstract
【解決手段】互いに異なった方位を有する、第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を提供し、第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体のうちの一方を、ハーフトーン化される画像の第1の領域内の画像データに適用し、第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体のうちの他方を、ハーフトーン化される画像の第2の領域内の画像データに適用し、第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体の混合体を、ハーフトーン化される画像の第3の領域内の画像データに適用し、印刷時に、第1の領域、第2の領域、及び、第3の領域の各々が他の領域とは異なる光沢特徴を有することを特徴とする、光沢差のある画像を作成する方法。

Claims (4)
- 互いに異なる方位を有する、第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を提供し、
前記第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体のうちの一方を、ハーフトーン化される画像の第1の領域内の画像データに適用し、
前記第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体のうちの他方を、ハーフトーン化される画像の第2の領域内の画像データに適用し、
前記第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体の混合体を、ハーフトーン化される画像の第3の領域内の画像データに適用し、
印刷時に、前記第1の領域、前記第2の領域、及び、前記第3の領域の各々が他の領域とは異なる光沢特徴を有することを特徴とする、光沢差のある画像を作成する方法。 - 前記第1及び第2の異方性構造体の前記混合体を前記第3の領域内の画像データに適用することは、前記第1及び第2のハーフトーン構造体を互い違いにすることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 基材と、
前記基材に印刷された光沢差のある画像と、
を含む印刷物であって、
前記光沢差のある画像は、
第1の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を含む第1の領域と、前記第1の異方性ハーフトーン構造体とは方位が異なった、第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を含む第2の領域と、
前記第1の異方性ハーフトーン構造体と前記第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体との混合体を含む、前記第1の領域と前記第2の領域のうちの少なくとも一方と隣接する第3の領域と、
を含み、
前記第3の領域が、前記第1及び第2の領域とは異なった光沢特徴を有することを特徴とする印刷物。 - 互いに異なる方位を有する、第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を提供する提供手段と、
前記第1の異方性ハーフトーン構造体と前記第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体とを画像の領域内の画像データに対して選択的に適用して光沢差のあるパターンを生成する生成手段と、
を含む、光沢差のある画像を生成する装置であって、
前記生成手段は、
ハーフトーン化される画像の第1の領域内の画像データに対して前記第1の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を適用し、
ハーフトーン化される画像の第2の領域内の画像データに対して前記第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体を適用し、
ハーフトーン化される画像の第3の領域内の画像データに対して前記第1及び第2の異方性ハーフトーン構造体の混合体を適用する、
ように構成され、
印刷時に、前記第1の領域、前記第2の領域、及び、前記第3の領域の各々が他の領域とは異なった光沢特徴を有することを特徴とする、光沢差のある画像を生成する装置。
