1.WTRU12が、WLANアプリケーション能力レポートを生成する
2.WTRU12が、WLAN22を介して、3GPP AAAサーバ16にレポートを送信する
3.3GPP AAAサーバ16が、レポートをHSS/HLR18/20に転送する
4.HSS/HLR18/20が、AAAサーバ16に対してレポートの受信確認を行う
5.3GPP14が、WLAN22を介して、WTRU12に対してレポートの受信確認を行う
その後、WLANネットワークにおいてWTRUにサービスを配信しようと試みるいずれの3GPPノードも、WTRUが、WLANモードにおけるサービスをサポートするかどうかを確認する。
1.SMSメッセージが、SC24から送信される。
2.GMSC26が、WTRU12位置についてHSS18にクエリを行う。
3.HSS18が、PDG/WAG28アドレスを戻す。
4.GMSC26が、SMSをPDG/WAG28に転送する。
5.PDG/WAG28が、SMS能力について、WLAN22を介してWTRU12にクエリを行う。
6.WTRU12が、すべてのサービス能力をリストアップし、PDG/WAG28に報告する。
Claims (3)
- マルチ無線アクセス技術対応(WAT対応)である無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)にサービスを提供するための方法であって、
前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)から無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)にアプリケーション能力レポートを送信するステップと、
前記WLANからセルラーネットワークに前記レポートを伝送するステップと、
前記レポートを前記セルラーネットワーク内に格納するステップと、
前記セルラーネットワークによる前記レポートの受信の確認を前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)に対して行うステップと、
前記セルラーネットワーク内の前記格納されたレポートを調べて、前記サービスを配信しようと試みるのに先立って無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)モードで動作している場合、前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)がサービスをサポートするかどうか決定するステップと
を具えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記WLANは、前記レポートを、前記セルラーネットワーク内の認証、許可、およびアカウンティング(AAA)サーバに伝送し、
前記セルラーネットワーク内に前記レポートを前記格納することは、前記セルラーネットワーク内の前記レポートを、ホーム加入者サーバ(HSS)およびホームロケーションレジスタ(HLR)の少なくともどちらかに転送することを含み、
前記セルラーネットワークによる前記レポートの受信の前記確認を前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)に対して行うことは、前記ホーム加入者サーバ(HSS)または前記ホームロケーションレジスタ(HLR)による前記レポートの受信の確認を前記アカウンティング(AAA)サーバに対して行い、前記アカウンティング(AAA)による前記確認を、前記無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)を介して前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)に報告することを含み、
前記セルラーネットワーク内の前記格納されたレポートを前記調べることは、前記確認するホームロケーションレジスタ(HLR)またはホーム加入者サーバ(HSS)を調べて、前記サービスを配信しようと試みることに先立って無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)モードで動作している場合、前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)がサービスをサポートするかどうか決定することを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)により前記無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)を介して前記セルラーネットワークに登録を行っている間に、前記レポートを送信することをさらに具えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
