Abstract
【解決手段】制御目標値としての要求エンジン運転状態に基づいて燃料燃焼後にエンジン10から排出される燃料未燃分(主にHC量)やDPF17の温度を推定する装置(ECU50)として、エンジン10から直接的に排出された排気の温度を検出する排気温センサ17bと、この排気温センサ17bにより検出されるエンジン出ガス排気温度に基づいて、要求エンジン運転状態から推定した燃料未燃分の推定値についての推定誤差、すなわち要求エンジン運転状態と真のエンジン運転状態との運転状態誤差分を補償するプログラムと、を備える構成とする。

Description
以下、本発明に係るエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置、及び排気浄化装置の温度推定装置を具体化した第1の実施形態について図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本実施形態の各装置も、上記特許文献1に記載の装置と同様、制御目標値としての要求エンジン運転状態に基づいてエンジンの運転状態を制御するエンジン制御システムにあってその要求エンジン運転状態に基づいてエンジンの燃料未燃分や排気浄化装置の温度を推定するものである。そして特に本実施形態では、こうした装置が、車両ディーゼルエンジン(内燃機関)についてのコモンレール式燃料噴射制御システムに搭載されている。
次に、本発明に係るエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置、及び排気浄化装置の温度推定装置を具体化した第2の実施形態について図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本実施形態に係る各装置も、例えば先の図1に示したような車両制御システムに適用される。そして、そのシステムの構成は、本実施形態でも基本的には先の第1の実施形態で説明したものと同様のものになるため、ここではシステムの構成についての説明を割愛する。以下、本実施形態に係る各装置(特にエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置)について第1の実施形態との相違点を中心に説明する。
次に、本発明に係るエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置、及び排気浄化装置の温度推定装置を具体化した第3の実施形態について図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本実施形態に係る各装置も、例えば先の図1に示したような車両制御システムに適用される。そして、そのシステムの構成は、本実施形態でも基本的には先の第1の実施形態で説明したものと同様のものになるため、ここではシステムの構成についての説明を割愛する。以下、本実施形態に係る各装置(特にエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置)について第2の実施形態との相違点を中心に説明する。

・上記第4の実施形態において、エンジン制御システムの性能劣化の度合が大きいと判断された場合のフェイルセーフ処理はDPF再生処理の中止に限られず、例えばダイアグコードを書き込んだり、あるいは警告灯等の報知装置によりその旨を運転者等に知らせたりしてセキュリティレベルの向上を図ることも可能である。この意味では、エンジン制御システムの性能劣化の度合を判定するタイミングはDPF再生処理中に限られず、例えば所定クランク角ごとに又は所定時間周期で、こうした判定を実行する構成なども有効である。
Claims (13)
- 制御目標値としての要求エンジン運転状態に基づいてエンジンの運転状態を制御するエンジン制御システムにあってその要求エンジン運転状態に基づいて燃料燃焼後にエンジンから排出される燃料未燃分を推定するエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置において、
前記エンジンでの燃料燃焼により生成されたエネルギーの大小を示す燃焼エネルギー相当値を検出する燃焼エネルギー検出手段と、
前記燃焼エネルギー検出手段により検出される1乃至複数の燃焼エネルギー相当値に基づいて、前記燃料未燃分の推定値についての、前記要求エンジン運転状態と真のエンジン運転状態との運転状態誤差分を補償する運転状態誤差分補償手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。 - 前記燃焼エネルギー検出手段は、前記燃焼エネルギー相当値の1つとして前記エンジンから直接的に排出された排気の温度を検出するものであり、前記運転状態誤差分補償手段は、その排気温度が高くなるほど前記燃料未燃分の推定値が減少する方向への補償を行うものである請求項1に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。
- 前記燃焼エネルギー検出手段は、前記燃焼エネルギー相当値の1つとして前記エンジンでの燃料燃焼により生成されたトルクの大小を示すトルク相当値を検出するものであり、前記運転状態誤差分補償手段は、そのトルク相当値が大きくなるほど前記燃料未燃分の推定値が減少する方向への補償を行うものである請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。
- 前記トルク相当値は、前記エンジンでの燃料燃焼時の筒内圧力である請求項3に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。
- 時々の要求エンジン運転状態に対応する前記燃焼エネルギー相当値の基本値を取得する燃焼エネルギー基本値取得手段と、
前記燃焼エネルギー基本値取得手段により取得される燃焼エネルギー相当値の基本値と前記燃焼エネルギー検出手段により検出される燃焼エネルギー相当値の真値との差分値として前記運転状態誤差分を算出する運転状態誤差分算出手段と、
を備える請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。 - 前記運転状態誤差分補償手段により補償された前記燃料未燃分の推定値、又は同補償に用いた前記運転状態誤差分を、その時の要求エンジン運転状態に関連付けて所定の記憶装置に格納する燃料未燃分推定値格納手段を備え、前記燃料未燃分の推定値、又は運転状態誤差分として燃料未燃分推定値格納手段に格納されている値を用いる請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。
- 前記運転状態誤差分補償手段により補償された前記燃料未燃分の推定値に基づいて前記エンジン制御システムの性能劣化の度合を判定するエンジン制御システム劣化度合判定手段を備える請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。
- 前記エンジンの排気通路には、PM(粒子状物質)を捕集してその捕集したPMを除去するための再生処理として燃焼処理の施される触媒付フィルタが配設されており、
このフィルタの再生処理中にあって前記エンジン制御システム劣化度合判定手段により前記エンジン制御システムの性能劣化の度合が許容レベルよりも大きいと判定された場合にそのフィルタの再生処理を中止する再生処理中止手段をさらに備える請求項7に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。 - 前記エンジンの排気通路には、PM(粒子状物質)を捕集するための触媒付フィルタが配設されており、
前記運転状態誤差分補償手段により補償された前記燃料未燃分の推定値に基づいて前記フィルタの温度を推定するフィルタ温度推定手段をさらに備える請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。 - 前記エンジンの排気通路には、排気中のNOx(窒素酸化物)を窒素と酸素に分解するような還元反応を促進する還元触媒が配設されており、
前記運転状態誤差分補償手段により補償された前記燃料未燃分の推定値に基づいて、前記還元触媒に対する還元剤の添加量としての前記燃料未燃分を推定する還元剤添加量推定手段をさらに備える請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。 - 前記要求エンジン運転状態には、少なくとも要求トルク値とエンジン回転速度とが含まれる請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの燃料未燃分推定装置。
- 制御目標値としての要求エンジン運転状態に基づいてエンジンの運転状態を制御するエンジン制御システムにあって、燃料燃焼後に前記エンジンから排出される燃料未燃分に応じて変化する排気浄化装置の温度を、前記要求エンジン運転状態に基づいて推定する排気浄化装置の温度推定装置において、
前記エンジンでの燃料燃焼により生成されたエネルギーの大小を示す燃焼エネルギー相当値を検出する燃焼エネルギー検出手段と、
前記燃焼エネルギー検出手段により検出される1乃至複数の燃焼エネルギー相当値に基づいて、前記排気浄化装置の温度推定値についての、前記要求エンジン運転状態と真のエンジン運転状態との運転状態誤差分を補償する運転状態誤差分補償手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする排気浄化装置の温度推定装置。 - 前記排気浄化装置が酸化触媒付きのPM除去用フィルタである請求項12に記載の排気浄化装置の温度推定装置。
