Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to pavement structures such as roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, and the like, and water-retaining cement compositions used as water-retaining fillers in continuous voids of a porous cured body that is a surface layer forming body of the pavement structure, In particular, the present invention relates to a water-retaining cement composition that is excellent in suppressing elution of hexavalent chromium.
In recent years, cement, a water-retaining material such as sepiolite, and water are mixed to prepare an uncured water-retaining cement composition, and this uncured water-retaining cement composition is used as a pavement having continuous voids. A technique for producing a water-retaining pavement by filling a continuous void and curing it has been developed.
As an example, a water-retaining cured body comprising a porous cured body having continuous voids and a water-retaining curing material filled in the continuous voids, the water-retaining curing material comprising 100 parts by mass of cement, 200 parts % Compressive strength of 1.2 N / mm 2 or more, and 0.6 N / mm 2 or more obtained by curing a kneaded product containing 20 to 120 parts by mass of fibrous sepiolite having a water retention of at least% and water. A water-retaining cured body characterized by being a material having bending strength has been proposed (Patent Document 1).
A conventional water-retaining cured material, which is formed by filling a continuous void in a porous cured material with a water-retaining curing material, absorbs water by rain or water spray, and then gradually releases this water to direct sunlight in summer. The effect of suppressing the increase in road surface temperature due to can be exhibited.
However, since the water-retaining hardener filled in the continuous voids of the porous cured body is a cement-containing substance having a large surface area, the hexavalent chromium in the cement is not contacted with the water that has entered the continuous voids. There is a problem that the water that is eluted in water and thus contains a small amount of hexavalent chromium flows out of the porous cured body and contaminates the surrounding environment.
Accordingly, the present invention provides a water-retaining cement composition for filling a continuous void of a porous cured body that is a main body of a water-retaining pavement, and is excellent in suppressing elution of hexavalent chromium. The purpose is to provide goods.

The powdery water-retaining cement composition of the present invention includes cement, a water-retaining material, and other materials blended as necessary.
As the cement, alumina cement, white cement, and other cements blended as necessary are used.
In the present invention, since the alumina cement and the white cement are used in the following amounts, compared with the case where only one of the alumina cement and the white cement is used, the elution effect of hexavalent chromium is significantly superior. Can be obtained. Alumina cement is excellent in initial strength. White cement is excellent in strength development after 3 hours of age.
The ratio of the alumina cement in the powdery water-retaining cement composition is 3 to 25% by mass, preferably 4 to 20% by mass, more preferably 5 to 15% by mass. When the proportion is less than 3% by mass, the effect of suppressing the elution of hexavalent chromium decreases. When this ratio exceeds 25 mass%, the cost of material will become high.
The proportion of cement other than alumina cement in the powdery water-retaining cement composition is 10 to 55% by mass, preferably 15 to 50% by mass, and more preferably 20 to 50% by mass. When the proportion is less than 10% by mass, the proportion of the total amount of cement in the powdery water-retaining cement composition becomes small, and the adhesiveness and mechanical strength after curing become small when used as a water-retaining filler. When this ratio exceeds 55 mass%, the amount of the water retaining material becomes small, sufficient water retention cannot be obtained, and the effect of suppressing the temperature rise on the road surface may be insufficient.
The ratio of the white cement in the total amount (100% by mass) of cement other than the alumina cement is 70% by mass or more, preferably 75% by mass or more, and more preferably 80% by mass or more. When the proportion is less than 70% by mass, the effect of suppressing the dissolution of hexavalent chromium decreases.
In the present invention, examples of cement that can be used in addition to alumina cement and white cement include various Portland cements such as ordinary Portland cement, early-strength Portland cement, ultra-high-strength Portland cement, medium-heated Portland cement, low-heat Portland cement, Examples thereof include hard cement, mixed cement such as blast furnace cement and fly ash cement.
Among these, super fast cement is preferably used in that a paving body such as a paving block can be efficiently produced.
In the present invention, the proportion of the total amount of cement in the powdery water-retaining cement composition is preferably 20 to 65% by mass, more preferably 25 to 60% by mass. When the proportion is less than 20% by mass, the adhesiveness and mechanical strength of the water-retaining cement composition after curing in the continuous voids of the paving block main body are reduced. When the ratio exceeds 65% by mass, the amount of the water retaining material is decreased, sufficient water retention is not obtained, and the effect of suppressing the temperature rise on the road surface may be insufficient.
As the water retention material, an inorganic water retention material is usually used. Examples of the inorganic water retention material include sepiolite and zeolite. Among these, sepiolite is preferably used because it has excellent water absorption and water retention.
Sepiolite is a kind of holmite clay mineral, and has a dry solidification property (a property of solidifying when kneaded with water and dried) and has fine continuous voids inside. The main component of sepiolite is hydrous magnesium silicate (chemical formula: Mg 4 Si 6 O 15 (OH) 2 .6H 2 O).
The sepiolite is preferably in the form of a fiber for the following reason.
First, the water-retaining cement composition containing fibrous sepiolite has thixotropic properties (thixotropic properties) when kneaded with water, so it has excellent fluidity (ease of construction work), material separation resistance ( Prevention of bleeding) and adhesion (fixability in continuous voids after construction). Here, the thixotropic property (thixotropic property) refers to a property that the viscosity decreases when the shear resistance is increased, and conversely, the viscosity increases when the shear resistance is decreased.
Secondly, the crystalline structure of the fibrous sepiolite has a honeycomb-like channel structure, and many elongated pores in this channel structure exhibit high water absorption and water retention. The water-retaining cement composition containing a sepiolite in the form of water is excellent in water absorption and water retention.
Third, even if fibrous sepiolite absorbs water, the water retention cement composition containing the sepiolite has a small expansion coefficient, so that the water retention cement composition is within the continuous void of the porous cured body such as a paving block body. There is little risk that the material will expand and stress will be generated, or the water permeability will decrease, and the durability of the pavement will be improved by filling and hardening the water-retaining cement composition in the continuous voids of the porous cured body. Can be made.
A method for preparing fibrous sepiolite is as follows.
First, the natural mineral sepiolite is crushed with a crusher.
Next, the pulverized sepiolite is pulverized by a fine pulverizer and defibrated. Here, examples of the fine pulverizer include a Raymond mill, a vertical roller mill, a hammer mill, and a ball mill. Among these, Raymond mills and vertical roller mills are preferably used in that sepiolite is satisfactorily defibrated without being excessively pulverized and large water retention can be easily obtained. Instead of the pulverization method using these fine pulverizers, a method of defibration in water for a long time can be employed. Specifically, the method of defibrating in water is a method of performing defibration by applying a stirring process for a long time as a relatively low-concentration slurry using a vessel with a stirring blade.
After defibration, if necessary, treatment with water syrup, sieving, and classification can be performed alone or in combination of these two or more operations to increase the purity of those having a fiber shape. Thus, the desired fibrous sepiolite can be obtained.
The water retention rate of fibrous sepiolite is preferably 200% by mass or more, more preferably 250% by mass or more.
Here, the water retention rate is when a certain amount of sepiolite is weighed and placed on a large filter paper, and then water is added until the sepiolite starts to bleed, and the increase in mass at that point is measured. The value obtained by dividing this increased amount (mass of water retained in sepiolite) by the initial mass of sepiolite. In addition, when adding water, sepiolite is supported in the form of being pinched on the filter paper, and the water generated by bleeding is removed by applying a certain pressure and squeezing the filter paper together with incompletely held water.
The length (fiber length) of the fibrous sepiolite is preferably 1 μm or more, more preferably 5 μm or more. The upper limit of the fiber length is preferably 1,000 μm or less, more preferably 200 μm or less. When the fiber length is less than 1 μm, the viscosity at the time of water absorption decreases and the water retention performance decreases. When the fiber length exceeds 1,000 μm, mixing with other materials becomes nonuniform, and the water-retaining cement composition may cause poor curing.
When fibrous sepiolite is made into a slurry of 10% by mass and its viscosity is measured with a B-type viscometer, the viscosity of the third rotation after the rotor starts rotating is 1,500 cps (centipoise) or more. Thus, the slurry having a viscosity of 1,500 cps or more means that the water retention performance is high.
The ratio of the water retaining material (for example, sepiolite) in the powdery water retaining cement composition of the present invention is preferably 5 to 40% by mass, more preferably 10 to 35% by mass. If the proportion is less than 5% by mass, sufficient water retention cannot be obtained, and the effect of suppressing the temperature rise on the road surface may be insufficient. When the ratio exceeds 40% by mass, the mass ratio of other materials such as cement becomes small, and the adhesiveness and mechanical strength of the water-retaining cement composition after curing inside the continuous voids of the paving block main body are small. May be.
It is preferable that the powdery water-retaining cement composition of the present invention further contains slaked lime (Ca (OH) 2 ). By including slaked lime, the elution suppression effect of hexavalent chromium can be further improved, and the development of initial strength when the water-retaining cement composition is solidified can be promoted.
The ratio of slaked lime in the powdery water-retaining cement composition is preferably 1 to 25% by mass, more preferably 3 to 20% by mass, and particularly preferably 5 to 18% by mass. When the proportion is less than 1% by mass, the above effect cannot be obtained sufficiently. When this ratio exceeds 25 mass%, the ratio of a cement and a water retention material may become small, and the said fault accompanying it may arise.
Other materials that can be incorporated into the powdery water-retaining cement composition of the present invention include inorganic fine particles, setting retarders, water reducing agents, and the like.
Examples of the inorganic fine particles include calcium carbonate, anhydrous gypsum, silica fume, silica dust, fly ash, and blast furnace slag.
Calcium carbonate is preferably used in that the volume of the solid material can be increased without impairing the water retention of the water retention material. Anhydrous gypsum is preferably used from the viewpoint of improving strength development at the age of 1 day.
The ratio of the inorganic fine particles in the powdery water-retaining cement composition (the ratio of the total amount when two or more types are used in combination) is preferably 40% by mass or less, more preferably 35% by mass or less.
Examples of the setting retarder include setting retarders such as oxycarboxylic acid, lignin sulfonic acid, and aromatic sulfonic acid. Examples of the compound name of the setting retarder include citric acid and tartaric acid.
The ratio of the setting retarder in the powdery water-retaining cement composition is usually 0 to 2.5% by mass.
Examples of water reducing agents (powder-like ones) include lignin-based, naphthalene sulfonic acid-based, melamine-based, polycarboxylic acid-based water reducing agents, AE water reducing agents, high-performance water reducing agents, and high-performance AE water reducing agents. .
Although the ratio of the water reducing agent in a powdery water retention cement composition changes with kinds of water reducing agent, it is 0.1-9 mass parts normally with respect to 100 mass parts of cement.
The form of the water reducing agent is not limited to powder and may be liquid. However, the liquid water reducing agent is not used as a material for the water-retaining cement composition in the form of powder, but as a material that can be mixed with the water-retaining cement composition in the form of water together with water when preparing the water-retaining filler (paste). . The amount of liquid water reducing agent used is the same as the amount of powdered water reducing agent used in terms of solid content.
The amount of water when preparing the water-retaining filler is preferably 150 parts by mass or more, more preferably 180 parts by mass or more, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the powdery water-retaining cement composition. When the amount is less than 150 parts by mass, the fluidity of the water-retaining filler becomes small, and there are problems such as difficulty in filling the water-retaining filler in the continuous voids of the porous cured body.
By setting the blending amount to 180 parts by mass or more, the filling rate (volume ratio) of the water-retaining filler into the continuous voids of the porous cured body can be almost 100%. When the amount is less than 180 parts by mass, the filling rate of the water-retaining filler into the continuous voids of the porous cured body tends to decrease. For example, the filling rate may be reduced to about 70% when the amount of water is less than 150 parts by mass.
The upper limit of the amount of water is preferably 500 parts by mass or less, more preferably 400 parts by mass or less, and particularly preferably 300 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the powdery water-retaining cement composition. When the value exceeds 500 parts by mass, the adhesiveness and mechanical strength of the water-retaining cement composition after curing in the continuous voids of the porous cured body are reduced.
The powdery water-retaining cement composition of the present invention is kneaded with water and other materials blended as necessary (for example, a liquid water reducing agent, etc.) to fill the continuous voids of the porous cured body. Therefore, it becomes a water retention filler.
In order to prepare the water-retaining filler, the above materials constituting the powdery water-retaining cement composition and water are charged into a mixer such as a biaxial kneader, a pan type mixer, and a rocking mixer. And kneading.
At this time, as a method of charging each material, cement (alumina cement, white cement, and other cement), a water retention material (for example, sepiolite), water, and other materials blended as necessary are collectively used. The premix material by premixing materials other than water (specifically, cement, water retention material, and other solid materials blended as necessary) in advance. Examples include a method in which the material is put into a mixer together with water and other liquid materials blended as necessary.
Examples of the method of filling the water-retaining filler in the continuous voids of the porous cured body include a method of press-fitting by applying pressure and a method of pouring using gravity. The filling of the water-retaining filler and the subsequent curing can be performed at room temperature.
The fluidity of the water-retaining filler before curing is a flow value measured in accordance with the Japan Society of Civil Engineers standard "flowability test method for pre-packed concrete injection mortar (P funnel method)", preferably less than 11 seconds. is there. When the flow value is 11 seconds or more, it becomes difficult to fill the water retention filler in the continuous voids of the porous cured body.
The compressive strength of the water-retaining filler (water-retaining cement composition) after curing is preferably 0.5 N / mm 2 or more. If the compressive strength is less than 0.5 N / mm 2 , there is a risk of collapse in water.
The bending strength of the water-retaining filler after curing is preferably 0.1 N / mm 2 or more. If the bending strength is less than 0.1 N / mm 2 , there is a risk of collapse in water.
The water absorption rate of the water retention filler after curing is preferably 40% by volume or more. If the water absorption is less than 40% by volume, sufficient water retention cannot be obtained, and the effect of suppressing the temperature rise on the road surface may be insufficient.

When the paving block main body is made of mortar, the material composition thereof is, for example, as a composition per unit volume of the paving block main body, 400 to 600 kg / m 3 of cement, 1,200 to 1,400 kg / m of fine aggregate. 3 , water 130-150 kg / m 3 , water reducing agent 0.1-2.0 mass% (however, the blending amount of the water reducing agent is a mass ratio with respect to the cement amount).
If paving block body is made of concrete, as its material composition, for example, a composition per unit volume of the paving block body, cement 350~500kg / m 3, coarse aggregate 800~1,500kg / m 3, Fine aggregate 0-600 kg / m 3 , water 85-150 kg / m 3 , water-reducing agent 0.1-2.0% by mass (however, the amount of water-reducing agent is a mass ratio to the amount of cement). .
In order to prepare a paving block main body, for example, after kneading materials such as cement, aggregate, water, and a water reducing agent, the kneaded material is put into a predetermined mold, and then externally by a mold vibrator or the like. After applying vibration and compaction, curing and curing may be performed.
The volume ratio of continuous voids in the paving block main body is usually 15 to 30%, preferably 17 to 25%.

[Example 1]
(1) Preparation of water-retaining filler Each material such as alumina cement, white cement, ultra-hard cement, slaked lime, sepiolite, etc. is put into a kneading container with the blending amounts shown in Table 1, and kneaded beforehand using a high-speed hand mixer. As a result, a powdery water-retaining cement composition (premix material) was obtained. Next, water was added to the premix material and kneaded again with a high-speed hand mixer to prepare a water-retaining filler.
(2) Measurement of elution amount of hexavalent chromium Hexavalent chromium was measured based on Environment Agency Notification No. 46. Specifically, a specimen was prepared using the prepared water-retaining filler, and after curing in a constant temperature room at 20 ° C., the specimen was pulverized and classified using a sieve having an opening of 2 mm, Samples of 2 mm or less were obtained. Thereafter, pure water whose pH was adjusted to 5.8 to 6.3 was added to the sample so as to have an amount of 10 ml per 1 g of the sample to obtain a slurry, and then the slurry was shaken for 6 hours. Thereafter, the slurry was centrifuged at 3,000 rpm for 20 minutes. Next, a supernatant was obtained by filtering the supernatant after centrifugation through a 0.45 μm membrane filter. The hexavalent chromium in this test solution was quantified by diphenylcarbazide absorptiometry.
A water-retaining filler was prepared and the elution amount of hexavalent chromium was measured in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the material shown in Table 1 was used as the material of the powdery water-retaining cement composition.
The results are shown in Table 1.
From Table 1, it can be seen that the water-retaining fillers (Examples 1 to 7) made of the water-retaining cement composition of the present invention have a low elution amount of hexavalent chromium and are excellent in suppressing elution of hexavalent chromium. In particular, in Examples 1 to 3 and 6, the elution amount of hexavalent chromium was less than the detection limit value (0.05 ppm).
Moreover, from Examples 3-5, it turns out that the suppression effect of the elution of hexavalent chromium improves further by including slaked lime.
On the other hand, it can be seen that the water-retaining fillers of Comparative Examples 1 to 3 that do not contain white cement and Comparative Examples 5 and 6 that do not contain alumina cement do not sufficiently suppress elution of hexavalent chromium.
Moreover, even if it is a case where an alumina cement and a white cement are used together from the comparative example 4, the ratio of the white cement in cements other than an alumina cement is less than the numerical range (70 mass% or more) prescribed | regulated by this invention 60 It can also be seen that the elution of hexavalent chromium cannot be sufficiently suppressed when the content is mass%.
