Abstract
Description
a)フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームを処理ゾーンに通過させること;

c)フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームをイオン交換媒体に接触させて、フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームから汚染物質を除去すること、及び
d)精製されたストリームを処理ゾーンから除去すること。
a)合成ガスをフィッシャー−トロプシュ反応器に通過させて、フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームを生成すること;
b)フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームを濾過して、濾過された炭化水素ストリームを生成すること;
c)濾過された炭化水素ストリームを処理ゾーンに通過させること;
d)処理ゾーン内にイオン交換媒体を供給すること;
e)濾過された炭化水素ストリームを処理ゾーン内のイオン交換媒体と接触させて、濾過された炭化水素ストリームから汚染物質を除去すること;
f)精製されたストリームを処理ゾーンから除去すること;及び
g)精製されたストリームを水素化処理反応器に通過させること。
フィッシャー−トロプシュプロセスは、図1に参照番号13で図式的に示したフィッシャー−トロプシュ反応器中で実施することができる。フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリーム14は、約C20より大きい鎖長を有する線状炭化水素を含むワックス状留分を含む。フィッシャー−トロプシュ生成物が、留出燃料組成物において使用される場合には、燃料の燃焼特性(しばしば、セタン価によって定量化される)並びに燃料の低温特性(例えば、流動点、くもり点、及び冷フィルタープラッギング点)の向上用の適切な量のイソパラフィンを含ませるために、しばしばさらに処理がなされる。
フィッシャー−トロプシュ反応器13からの生成物ストリーム14は、水素化処理ステップにかけられる。このステップは、図1に参照番号23で図式的に示した水素化処理反応器中で実施することができる。本明細書では、用語「水素化処理」は、反応器13によって生成されたフィッシャー−トロプシュ反応生成物を水素含有ガスで処理する多数のプロセスの何れかを言う;かかるプロセスには、水素ワックス化、水素化分解、水素異性化、水素処理、及び水素仕上げ(hydrofinishing)が含まれる。
上記に言及したように、フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリーム14、16は、ストリーム14、16中の汚染物質、微粒子汚染物質、可溶性汚染物質、ファウリング薬剤、及び/又はプラッギング前駆体のため、水素化処理反応器中の触媒床のプラッギングを起こすことがある。用語、微粒子、微粒子汚染物質、可溶性汚染物質、ファウリング薬剤、及びプラッギング前駆体は、本発明の開示において、互いに互換性があるように使用されるが、一般に、この現象は、「汚染物質」と呼ばれている。なお、水素化処理触媒床を最終的に詰まらせる実体は、プラッギング事象のいくぶん前に、供給原料中の可溶物であろうことを念頭におかれたい。プラッギング事象は、汚染物質(これは最終的に微粒子形態をとる)の結果であり、汚染物質は水素化処理反応器の触媒床によって水素化処理供給原料から濾過される。本発明の実施形態によれば、触媒的濾過ステップ20は、水素化処理反応器23の触媒床のプラッギングを実質上回避するように、可溶性汚染物質、ファウリング薬剤、及びプラッギング前駆体を、フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリーム14、16から除去するために使用される。
本発明者等の知識では、フィッシャー−トロプシュワックス状生成物ストリームから汚染物質を精製及び/又は除去するために、イオン交換技法が使用されたことは、今までなかった。本発明の実施形態において使用に適当であると見なされるイオン交換技法は、イオン交換重合体樹脂及びイオン交換粘土を含む。
イオン交換樹脂を使用したフィッシャー−トロプシュ炭化水素ストリームのイオン抽出
この実施例は、フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導パラフィン系炭化水素ストリームに関して行われたイオン交換プロセスの結果を提供し、このプロセスは、市販のイオン交換樹脂を使用して実施する。酸抽出ステップの前に、フィッシャー−トロプシュ生成物ストリームを当業者には知られている従来法の濾過技法を使用して濾過した。次いで、フィッシャー−トロプシュ生成物ストリームを、還流濃縮器を備えた丸底フラスコ中で市販のイオン交換樹脂Dowex HCR−S(Dow Chemical)と混合した。イオン交換樹脂に対してフィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導ワックスのいくつかの異なる比で実験を実施した。それぞれの混合物をワックスが溶融状態にあるように、100℃で1時間撹拌した。
Claims (23)
- フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームから汚染物質を除去する方法であって、
a)フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームを処理ゾーンに通過させること;
b)処理ゾーン内にイオン交換媒体を供給すること;
c)フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームを処理ゾーン内のイオン交換媒体と接触させて、フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導炭化水素ストリームから汚染物質を除去すること、及び
d)処理ゾーンから、精製されたストリームを取り出すこと
を含む方法。 - 接触ステップにおけるイオン交換媒体が、架橋されたイオン交換性高分子樹脂を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 高分子樹脂が、強酸交換樹脂である請求項2に記載の方法。
- 高分子樹脂が、スチレン−ジビニルベンゼン共重合体である請求項2に記載の方法。
- 接触ステップにおけるイオン交換樹脂が、スルホニウム官能基を有する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 接触ステップにおけるイオン交換媒体が、粘土材料である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 粘土材料が、1:1の粘土材料である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 1:1の粘土材料が、カオリナイトである請求項7に記載の方法。
- 粘土材料が、2:1の粘土材料である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 2:1の粘土材料が、スメクタイト、マイカ及びバーミキュライトからなる群から選択される請求項9に記載の方法。

g)精製されたストリームを水素化処理反応器に通過させること
を含む方法。
