Abstract

Claims (30)
- 移動式患者モニタリング装置に接続するのに適したドッキングステーションにおいて使用するシステムであって、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置は、患者から取得される信号パラメータを処理し、
移動式処理装置に電力を提供するために、電力を結合するパワーカプラと、
第1の動作モードにおいて、特定のドッキングステーションに関連する識別子を前記移動式処理装置に伝送し、第2の動作モードにおいて、ネットワークに対して前記移動式処理装置の接続を確立する、適合通信インターフェイスと、を含むシステム。 - 前記ドッキングステーションに接続される移動式処理装置を検出し、前記第1の動作モードを開始し、次いで、第2の動作モードを開始するコントローラを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、
(a)前記ネットワークに対してアクティブな通信リンクが存在するか、
(b)前記ドッキングステーションと前記移動式処理装置の間に、アクティブな通信リンクが存在するか、
(c)移動式患者モニタリング装置は、前記ドッキングステーションとドッキングされるのか、を検知し、
前記ドッキングステーションから電力を受信することによって、前記ドッキングステーションに接続される、請求項2に記載のシステム。 - 前記検出に対し、前記コントローラは、前記アクティブな通信リンクの中断を行い、前記第1の動作モードにおいて、前記移動式処理装置に対する前記特定のドッキングステーションに関連する前記識別子を伝送し、その後、前記第2の動作モードにおいて、前記ネットワークに対する前記アクティブな通信リンクを再接続する、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクティブな通信リンクは、イーサネット(登録商標)互換性通信リンクを含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記移動式処理装置が前記ドッキングステーションに接続されて電源が入れられたかを決定するまで、前記第1の動作モードを抑制するコントローラを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記適合通信インターフェイスは、(a)WLAN802.11b標準の互換性通信、(b)802.11a標準の互換性通信、(c)802.11gの標準の互換性通信、(d)Bluetooth802.15標準の互換性通信、および、(e)GSM/GPRS標準の互換性通信のうち、少なくとも1つを含む無線技術を使用する通信をサポートする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者から取得される信号パラメータのモニタリング、および、処理を行い、ドッキングステーションの接続に適する移動式患者モニタリング装置において使用されるシステムであって、
電力を前記移動式患者モニタリング装置に提供するために、パワーカプラを通して受け取る電力を処理するパワーカプラと、
前記電力を使用し、
第1の動作モードにおいて、特定のドッキングステーションに関連する識別子を受信するため、および
第2の動作モードにおいて、ネットワークと移動式処理装置との接続を確立するための、適合通信インターフェイスと、
を含むシステム。 - 処理される患者のパラメータデータを与えるために、複数の異なる患者に取り付けられるセンサから患者のパラメータデータを受信し、処理するデータ取得プロセッサと、
処理された患者のパラメータデータを表示する画像再生装置と、を含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。 - 前記適合通信インターフェイスは、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置が前記ドッキングステーションに接続されるとき、処理される患者のパラメータデータをドッキングステーションに伝送する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理される患者のパラメータデータは、(a)心電計(ECG)データ、(b)血液パラメータデータ、(c)呼吸パラメータデータ、(d)輸液ポンプに関連するデータ、(e)血圧データ、(f)脈拍データおよび(g)体温データのうち少なくとも1つを有する生理的データを含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記パワーカプラが、電池を再充電し、前記移動式処理装置へ電力を供給する電力ユニットを含み、
前記適合通信インターフェイスが、無線通信を通して前記ネットワークに通信を行う、請求項8に記載のシステム。 - 前記特定のドッキングステーションと関連する前記識別子が、前記識別子を対応する地理的位置に関連させる地図から前記特定のドッキングステーションの地理的位置の測定を可能にする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記移動式患者モニタリング装置は、前記第2の動作モードにおいて前記ネットワークを経由して遠隔装置に、
(a)特に前記ドッキングステーションの識別子と、
(b)前記特定のドッキングステーションの識別子に基づいて得られた識別子とのうち少なくとも1つを伝送し、
応答時に、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置は、
(i)患者の地理的位置情報と、
(ii)地理的位置に基づいた前記移動式患者モニタリング装置の構成に用いられる構成情報と、
(iii)地理的位置に基づいて前記移動式患者モニタリング装置を動作させるため、特定の機能の選択において用いられる構成情報と、
(iv)前記地理的位置に関連する第2の装置を有する前記移動式患者モニタリング装置の動作をサポートする情報とのうち少なくとも1つを取得する、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記移動式患者モニタリング装置が移動式処理装置の識別子に対して前記情報を取得する請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記移動式患者モニタリング装置は、前記第2の動作モードにおける前記ネットワークを経由した遠隔装置に、
(a)特に前記ドッキングステーションの識別子と、
(b)前記特定のドッキングステーションの識別子に基づいて得られた識別子とのうち少なくとも1つを伝送し、
応答時に、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置は、
(i)患者パラメータと関連する警報設定と、
(ii)地理的位置、および、ユーザ資格情報に基づいて前記移動式患者モニタリング装置を動作させるため、特定の機能の選択において用いられる構成情報とのうち少なくとも1つを取得する、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記特定のドッキングステーションに関連する前記識別子は、(a)イーサネット(登録商標)互換性MACアドレス、(b)IPアドレス、(c)ポート識別子、(d)インターネット互換性アドレス(d)、および、(e)LANアドレスのうち、少なくとも1つを含む、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記特定のドッキングステーションに関連する前記識別子が、前記特定のドッキングステーションの地理的位置の測定と特定の患者と複数の医療機器を関連付けする、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記移動式患者モニタリング装置が、前記第2の動作モードにおいて前記ネットワークを経由して、遠隔装置に前記特定のドッキングステーションの識別子を伝送し、前記識別子に基づいて得られた位置の識別を行うため、前記遠隔装置による前記識別子の使用を可能にする、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記遠隔装置は、(a)テキストメッセージの生成と、(b)警報計の起動と、(c)再現装置上のアラームと付随する位置の表示のうち、少なくとも1つによって、前記位置の識別を行うために前記識別子を使用する、請求項19に記載の遠隔システム。
- 前記適合通信インターフェイスは、前記ネットワークに前記移動式患者モニタリング装置の接続をサポートし、双方向にデータを交換するために、前記ドッキングステーションにおける対応する変換器に、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置のデータ変換器を結合する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記適合通信インターフェイスが、
(a)前記特定のドッキングステーションの識別子と、
(b)(i)無線通信、および、(ii)有線通信の少なくとも1つによって、前記特定のドッキングステーションの識別子に基づいて得られる位置関連識別子とのうち、少なくとも1つを伝送する、請求項8に記載のシステム。 - 前記適合通信インターフェイスは、(a) WLAN 802.11b標準の互換性通信、(b)802.11a標準の互換性通信、(c)802.11gの標準の互換性通信、(d)Bluetooth 802.15標準の互換性通信、および、(e)GSM/GPRS標準の互換性通信のうち、少なくとも1つを含む無線技術を使用する通信をサポートする、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- ドッキングが解放されると、前記適合通信インターフェイスは、無線ネットワーク間で最適に接続を切り換え、前記ドッキングステーションにおいてドッキングすると、ドッキングステーションは有線ネットワーク接続をサポートする、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- (a)次にドッキングするドッキングステーションの前に、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置によって使用された、前にドッキングしたドッキングステーションに関連する識別子と、
(b)前記前にドッキングしたドッキングステーションに関連する前記識別子を使用して得られる情報と、
(c)ドッキングを解放するタイムスタンプとのうち少なくとも1つを格納するメモリを含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。 - 患者から取得される信号パラメータのモニタリングと処理を行い、ドッキングステーションに接続されるのに適した移動式患者モニタリング装置に用いられるシステムであって、
電力を前記移動式患者モニタリング装置に提供するために、パワーカプラを経由して受け取る電力を処理するパワーカプラと、
前記電力を使用する、通信インターフェイスと、を含み、該通信インターフェイスは、
ネットワークに対して移動式処理装置の接続を確立し、
特定のドッキングステーションから前記特定のドッキングステーションに関連する識別子を取得し、該識別子は、前記ドッキングステーションの地理的位置を得るために使用でき、
前記ネットワークを経由して遠隔システムに前記識別子を伝送し、
遠隔システムから前記地理的位置に依存する情報を受信する、システム。 - 前記識別子は、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置を取り付けた患者の位置を測定する遠隔システムによって使用できる、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 移動式患者モニタリング装置に接続されるために適したドッキングステーションによる使用方法であって、前記移動式患者モニタリング装置は、患者から取得される信号パラメータを処理し、
電力を結合して、移動式処理装置に電力を提供する動作と、第1の動作モードにおいて、前記移動式処理装置に特定のドッキングステーションに関連する識別子を伝送する動作と、第2の動作モードにおいて、ネットワークに前記移動式処理装置の接続を確立する動作とを含む使用方法。 - 患者から取得される信号パラメータのモニタリングと処理を行い、ドッキングステーションの接続に適する移動式患者モニタリング装置による使用方法であって、
電力を前記移動式患者モニタリング装置に提供するために、パワーカプラを経由して受け取る電力を処理する動作と、
前記電力を使用し、第1の動作モードにおいて特定のドッキングステーションに関連する識別子を受信し、ネットワークと携帯処理装置との接続を確立する動作とを含む使用方法。 - 患者から取得される信号パラメータをモニタリング、および、処理を行い、そして、ドッキングステーションに接続されるのに適した、移動式患者モニタリング装置による使用法であって、
ネットワークに対して移動式処理装置との通信を確立する動作と、
特定のドッキングステーションから前記特定のドッキングステーションに関連する識別子を取得する動作と、
該識別子は、前記ドッキングステーションの地理的位置を得るために有用であり、
前記ネットワークを経由して遠隔システムに前記識別子を伝送する動作と、
遠隔システムから前記地理的位置に依存する情報を受信する動作とを含む、使用方法。
