Description
従来法の問題は、特に高粘度の基油が多くの場合、曇りを示すことである。このような曇りのため、この方法は、幾つかの用途に利用するのに一層不適当となる。しかし、この種の基油の全ての用途に曇りがないことを必ずしも必要とするものではない。
WO−A−03033622の方法の欠点は、1150〜1350°F(621〜732℃)の遮断(cut−off)温度で行うディープカット蒸留である。この蒸留は、技術的に難しい蒸留工程であるばかりでなく、曇り前駆体と一緒に、価値のある重質基油分子も除去される。
(a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物を水素化異性化する工程、
(b)1種以上の燃料生成物、及び蒸留残留物を単離する工程、
(c)該残留物原料を水素化異性化条件下で水素化異性化触媒と接触させて、残留物の蝋含有量を減少させる工程、及び
(d)工程(c)の生成物を溶剤脱蝋して、曇りのない基油を得る工程、
を行うことを特徴とする曇り点が0℃未満で、100℃での動粘度が10cStより高い、曇りのない基油の製造方法。
本発明を以下の非限定的例で説明する。
水素化異性化フィッシャー・トロプシュ蝋から第1表に示す特性を有する蒸留残留物を単離した。脱蝋温度−20℃で溶剤脱蝋後に測定した蝋含有量は34.1重量%であった。
水素化異性化フィッシャー・トロプシュ蝋から第4表に示す特性を有する蒸留残留物を単離した。脱蝋温度−20℃で溶剤脱蝋後に測定した蝋含有量は41重量%であった。
Claims (13)
- (a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物を水素化異性化する工程、
(b)1種以上の燃料生成物、及び蒸留残留物を単離する工程、
(c)該残留物原料を水素化異性化条件下で水素化異性化触媒と接触させて、残留物の蝋含有量を減少させる工程、及び
(d)工程(c)の生成物を溶剤脱蝋して、曇りのない基油を得る工程、
を行うことを特徴とする曇り点が0℃未満で、100℃での動粘度が10cStより高い、曇りのない基油の製造方法。 - 蒸留残留物の10重量%回収沸点が500℃より高く、蝋含有量が50重量%より多く、かつ工程(c)において、蝋含有量が50重量%未満に減少する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)において、蝋含有量が35重量%未満に減少する請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の生成物中の蝋含有量が、10〜35重量%である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物中の炭素数が少なくとも60又はそれ以上の化合物と炭素数が少なくとも30の化合物との重量比は0.2以上であり、かつフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物中の化合物のうち、30重量%以上は、炭素数が少なくとも30の化合物である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物中の化合物のうち、50重量%以上は、炭素数が少なくとも30の化合物である請求項5に記載の方法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物中の炭素数が少なくとも60又はそれ以上の化合物と炭素数が少なくとも30の化合物との重量比は0.4以上である請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- 工程(b)で単離した残留物の10重量%回収沸点が、350〜550℃である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の生成物のうち、50重量%を超えるものの沸点が、工程(c)の原料として使用される残留物の10重量%回収沸点よりも高い請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の生成物のうち、70重量%を超えるものの沸点が、工程(c)の原料として使用される残留物の10重量%回収沸点よりも高い請求項9に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)で使用される水素化異性化触媒が、シリカ−アルミナ担体及び第VIII族貴金属又は非貴金属を含むほぼ非晶質系の触媒である請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)で使用される水素化異性化触媒が、モレキュラーシーブ及び第VIII族貴金属又は非貴金属を含む請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 低粘度基油を、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法の工程(d)で得られた曇りのない基油及び1種以上の添加剤とブレンドすることを特徴とする粘度調整添加剤を含有しない潤滑油組成物の製造方法。
