Claims (23)

- 前記環状アクティブ部材の外周に設けられた環状導電層を備えている請求項2記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・シース。
- 複数のアクティブ部材を備えている請求項1記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・シース。
- 前記エレクトロアクティブ・ポリマーがポリピロールを含有するものである請求項1記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・シース。
- 医用デバイス・デリバリー・システムにおいて
末端部と基端部とを有し、体腔内に挿入可能な細長ボディと、
前記細長ボディの外周に嵌合されて、医用デバイスの少なくとも一部分を覆うようにした、請求項1記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・シースと、
前記アクティブ部材に電気的に接続されており、前記アクティブ部材の体積の膨張及び収縮を生じさせる電圧を印加することにより、前記シースを作動させる制御ユニットと、
を備えた医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。 - 前記アクティブ部材が環状アクティブ部材である請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記シースが、前記環状アクティブ部材の外周に設けられた環状導電層を備えている請求項7記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記デリバリー・シースが、複数のアクティブ部材を備えている請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記エレクトロアクティブ・ポリマーがポリピロールを含有するものである請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記医用デバイスがステントである請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記制御ユニットがDC電源とオンオフ・スイッチとを含んでいる請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記制御ユニットがマイクロプロセッサを含んでいる請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記デリバリー・シースが、複数のアクティブ部材を備えている請求項13記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記複数のアクティブ部材を個別に作動させるようにしてある請求項14記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記デリバリー・シースを引戻すための引戻し機構を備えている請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記引戻し機構がエレクトロアクティブ・ポリマー・アクチュエータを備えている請求項16記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記引き戻し機構がプル・ワイヤを備えている請求項16記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記医用デバイスを更に備える請求項6記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 前記医用デバイスがステントである請求項19記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システム。
- 医用デバイスを患者の体腔へ供給する方法において、
前記細長ボディの前記末端部の近傍に前記医用デバイスを装着し、該医用デバイスの少なくとも一部分を前記デリバリー・シースが覆っているようにした、請求項19記載の医用デバイス・デリバリー・システムを用意し、
前記細長ボディの前記末端部を前記体腔に挿入し、
前記制御ユニットを操作して前記デリバリー・シースを作動させることにより、前記デリバリー・シースを少なくとも部分的に前記医用デバイスから引離す、
ことを備える方法。 - 前記デリバリー・シースを前記医用デバイスから引戻し、
前記医用デバイスを前記細長ボディから引離す、
ことを更に備える請求項21記載の方法。 - 前記医用デバイスがステントである請求項22記載の方法。
