Abstract
Description
1)燃料用入口と空気及び/又はエンジン排気ガス用入口とオフガス用出口とを備えた固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)、及び
2)前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)の前記燃料用入口に連結された出口と反応物用入口とを有する接触部分酸化改質装置(CPOx)、
を備え、前記反応物用入口が、燃料用入口とエンジン排気ガス用入口と前記接触部分酸化改質装置(CPOx)の前記入口に連結された出口とを有する蒸発器を介して内燃機関の前記エンジン排気ガス用出口に連結されていることを特徴とする補助電源装置に関する。

a)炭化水素燃料とエンジン排気ガスの両方を前記蒸発器に導入し;
b)その後、蒸発又は部分的に蒸発させた燃料とエンジン排気ガスとの混合物を前記接触部分酸化改質装置(CPOx)に導入して合成ガスに転化し;そして
c)前記合成ガスを前記燃料用入口を介して前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)に導入し、かつ酸素含有ガス及び/又はエンジン排気ガスを前記空気及び/又はエンジン排気ガス用入口を介して前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)に導入して発電する上記方法に関する。

Claims (6)
- エンジン排気ガス用出口を有する内燃機関と併用して発電するための補助電源装置(APU)であって、該補助電源装置(APU)は、
1)燃料用入口と空気及び/又はエンジン排気ガス用入口とオフガス用出口とを備えた固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)、及び
2)前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)の前記燃料用入口に連結された出口と反応物用入口とを有する接触部分酸化改質装置(CPOx)、
を備え、前記反応物用入口が、燃料用入口とエンジン排気ガス用入口と前記接触部分酸化改質装置(CPOx)の前記入口に連結された出口とを有する蒸発器を介して内燃機関の前記エンジン排気ガス用出口に連結されていることを特徴とする補助電源装置。 - 炭化水素燃料から発電する方法であって、請求項1に記載の補助電源装置において、
a)炭化水素燃料とエンジン排気ガスの両方を前記蒸発器に導入し;
b)その後、蒸発又は部分的に蒸発させた燃料とエンジン排気ガスとの混合物を前記接触部分酸化改質装置(CPOx)に導入して合成ガスに転化し;そして
c)前記合成ガスを前記燃料用入口を介して前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)に導入し、かつ酸素含有ガス及び/又はエンジン排気ガスを前記空気及び/又はエンジン排気ガス用入口を介して前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)に導入して発電する上記方法。 - エンジン排気ガスを前記空気及び/又はエンジン排気ガス用入口を介して前記固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)に導入する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記エンジン排気ガスを酸素含有ガスとの混合物として前記蒸発器に導入する請求項2又は3に記載の方法。
- 前記酸素含有ガスが空気である請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素燃料としてディーゼル又はガソリン、好ましくはディーゼルを用いる請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
