Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a battery device and a processing method thereof.
Conventionally, a battery pack is configured to accumulate battery pack charge and discharge information and a temperature environment in use, and display remaining capacity or battery information on an electronic device, for example, as in
FIG. 11 shows a block diagram of a conventional battery power supply system. As shown in this figure, the microcomputer built in the battery pack is always supplied with power from the secondary battery via the regulator, detects the voltage of the secondary battery and the temperature of the battery pack, and electronically transmits it via the communication port. Information is transmitted to the device.
Since the conventional battery pack constantly supplies power from the secondary battery to the microcomputer, there is a problem that the power stored in the secondary battery is used to drive the microcomputer. In order to solve this problem, a method of starting / stopping the microcomputer based on the presence / absence of communication with an electronic device or the amount of current can be considered. When configured in this way, a new problem arises that the state when the battery pack is in the storage state cannot be detected at all. For example, in the case of a lithium ion secondary battery, if high temperature storage in a fully charged state is performed, the secondary battery deteriorates even though it is not used, and the usage time in the electronic device is shortened.
The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and a battery device capable of detecting and recording a storage state of the battery device while suppressing power consumption by a microcomputer in the battery device and a control method thereof. The purpose is to provide.
The battery device of the present invention includes a secondary battery, a state detection unit that detects whether the secondary battery is in a storage state, a temperature detection unit that detects temperature, and the secondary battery is in a storage state. And when the said temperature is more than preset temperature, it has a time measuring means which times the time when the said temperature is more than preset temperature, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
The processing method of the battery device of the present invention includes a state detection step for detecting whether or not the secondary battery is in a storage state, a temperature detection step for detecting temperature, and the secondary battery is in a storage state, And when the said temperature is more than preset temperature, it has a time measuring step which times the time when the said temperature is more than preset temperature, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
The battery device of the present invention can detect and record the storage state of the battery device while suppressing power consumption by the microcomputer in the battery device.

(First embodiment)
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a configuration example of a battery pack (battery device) and an electronic device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. 101 is a battery pack.
Hereinafter, the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. The

The
When the
FIG. 2 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration example of the
The secondary
When the temperature inside the
With the above configuration, the secondary
FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing the operation of the battery pack according to the present embodiment. This flow is repeated until the
In step S1, it is determined whether or not the temperature inside the
In step S4, the secondary
In step S6, it is determined whether the temperature inside the
