Abstract
従来の6行程エンジンでは、吸入、圧縮、膨張、排気の4個の行程の後に行われれる冷却と放出との2個の行程のため、外気を導入していたので、残留ガス中に酸素が残り、空燃比を狂わせる原因となっていた。
【解決手段】
シリンダ孔へ摺動可能に挿通されたピストンを設け、ピストンの昇降に対応して、行われる吸入、圧縮、膨張、排気の4個の行程と、その後に吸気弁が閉じ排気弁の開いた状態でピストンを昇降させる冷却と放出との2個の行程を設けたものである。

Description
水噴射の量は冷却性能に及ぼす影響が大きい。一般的には燃料噴射ポンプと同じ大きさのものを用い、噴射量を同じにすると丁度良い効果がある。これはガソリンの低位発熱量10500kcal/kgと熱効率、水の気化熱540kcal/kgからくるものである。この場合、燃料タンクと水タンクは同量の容積となる。

Claims (2)
- シリンダ孔へ摺動可能に挿通されたピストンと、ピストン上方のシリンダ孔を閉じるシリンダヘッドとの間に点火栓を備えた燃焼室を設け、その燃焼室内を外気に連通させる吸気通路と排気通路の開口部に吸気弁と排気弁とを開閉可能に設け、前記吸気通路に絞り弁と燃料噴射口とを設けるとともに、前記吸気弁と排気弁とをピストンが3往復する間に1度づつ開閉させるとともに、吸入、圧縮、燃焼、排気の行程の次に、吸気弁が閉じ排気弁の開いた状態でピストンを昇降させる冷却と放出との2個の行程を介在させてなる6行程ガソリンエンジン。
- 請求項1において、前記排気通路に水噴射ノズルを設け、前記冷却行程中に排気通路に水噴射を行う6行程ガソリンエンジン。
