Abstract
【解決手段】試料水にMBTHを添加してアジンを生成した後、試料水に塩化第二鉄などの酸化剤を添加して、陽イオンである酸化型MBTHと、この酸化型MBTHの一部とアジンとが化合して青色陽イオン色素と、が生成される初期工程を実施する。その後、テトラフェニルホウ酸ナトリウムなど、試料水中で陰イオンになる有機化合物を添加して、疎水性相互作用により、酸化型MBTHを黄色を帯びた黄色イオン会合体に、青色陽イオン色素を青色を帯びた青色イオン会合体に、それぞれ変化させる。この両イオン会合体は、疎水性があり試料水中に浮遊するため、メンブランフィルター3で容易に濾過することが可能で、このメンブランフィルター3に定着した色彩によって濃度の判定を実施する。

Claims (3)
- 一定量だけ抽出された試料水に、一定量の3−メチル−2−ベンゾチアゾロンヒドラゾン(以下、MBTHと記載)を添加して、試料水に含有しているホルムアルデヒドをアジンに置換する第一工程と、
前記第一工程による反応が完了した後、一定量の酸化剤を添加して、試料水に残存しているMBTHを酸化型MBTHに置換する第二工程と、
前記アジンと前記酸化型MBTHとが結合することで、青色陽イオン色素が生成される第三工程と、
から構成される初期処理の後、
試料水に、一定量の陰イオン性有機化合物を添加して、該陰イオン性有機化合物と前記酸化型MBTHとの疎水性相互作用による黄色イオン会合体と、該陰イオン性有機化合物と前記青色陽イオン色素との疎水性相互作用による青色イオン会合体と、が生成される疎水化工程を実施して、
次に試料水をメンブランフィルター(3)によって濾過する濃縮工程を実施して、
最後に前記メンブランフィルター(3)に定着した色彩と、基準となる標準色列表(4)とを目視比較して濃度を判定することを特徴とするホルムアルデヒドの測定方法。 - 前記陰イオン性有機化合物は、テトラフェニルホウ酸ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のホルムアルデヒドの測定方法。
- 前記メンブランフィルター(3)は、硝酸セルロースを主原料とするセルロース混合エステル製であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のホルムアルデヒドの測定方法。
