Abstract
【解決手段】本RFIDタグ200は、RFID読込み器100から電波を受信するタグアンテナ210およびタグ駆動部220を備える。RFID駆動部220は、入力される電圧に応じてキャパシタンス値を調節する集積モードコンデンサ229を備える。即ち、RFID駆動部220は、集積モードコンデンサ229を用いて変調された搬送波の振幅の大きさを調節する。これにより、RFIDタグ200はタグ駆動部220から誘起される電流の大きさを調節する必要がなく、タグ駆動部220のインピーダンス調節によりタグ駆動部220から誘起される電圧が基準電圧以下になることを防止し、変調および復調が安定的に行われることから、製品の信頼性が向上される。

Claims (10)
- RFID読込み器から入力電力を受信し、前記入力電力に対応する反射電力を前記RFID読込み器に送出するタグアンテナと、
前記タグアンテナと電気的に接続し、前記入力電力に対応して前記搬送波を変調し、前記変調された搬送波を前記反射電力と共に前記タグアンテナに提供し、前記タグアンテナのインピーダンスマッチングのために前記変調された搬送波の大きさに応じてキャパシタンスを調節するタグ駆動部と、
を含むことを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - 前記タグ駆動部は、
データを保存するメモリ部と、
前記入力電力に対応して前記メモリ部から前記データを検出して搬送波を変調し、前記入力電力に対応して前記変調された搬送波を有する反射電力を生成する制御部と、
前記反射電力の電圧の大きさに応じてキャパシタンスを調節して前記タグ駆動部のインピーダンスを調節し、前記制御部から前記反射電力を受信して前記タグアンテナに提供する集積モードコンデンサと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。 - 前記集積モードコンデンサは、前記反射電力の電圧が閾値電圧より低ければキャパシタンス値は増加し、前記反射電力の電圧が閾値電圧より高ければキャパシタンス値は減少することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記集積モードコンデンサは、前記タグアンテナの入力パッドおよび接地パッドと接続された1つ以上のバラクター(Varactor)を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記バラクターは、
前記反射電力の電圧が印加されるゲート部と、
ソース部と、
前記ソース部と接続されたドレイン部と、を含み、
前記ゲート部は前記ソース部および前記ドレイン部を接続する連結ラインと電気的に接続されたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のRFIDタグ。 - 前記集積モードコンデンサは、前記搬送波を変調して前記データを含む信号波を前記搬送波に載せるための後方散乱(Backscattering)に必要な最小電力より前記反射電力が大きい場合に、キャパシタンス値が変更されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記後方散乱に必要な最小電力値は下記の式を満足することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記有効電力は前記タグアンテナの実効等方性輻射電力であり、前記後方散乱するために求められる最小電力値は約−70dBmであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記タグアンテナのインピーダンスは前記タグ駆動部のインピーダンスの複素共役であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 入力電力を送出するRFID読込み器と、
前記RFID読込み器から前記入力電力を受信し、搬送波の含まれた反射電力を前記RFID読込み器に送出するタグアンテナと、
前記タグアンテナと電気的に接続されたタグ駆動部を有するRFIDタグと、を含み、
前記タグ駆動部は、
データを保存するメモリ部と、
前記入力電力に対応して前記メモリ部から前記データを検出して搬送波を変調し、前記入力電力に対応して前記変調された搬送波を有する反射電力を生成する制御部と、
前記反射電力の電圧の大きさに応じてキャパシタンスを調節して前記タグ駆動部のインピーダンスを調節し、前記制御部から前記反射電力を受信して前記タグアンテナに提供する集積モードコンデンサと、
を含むことを特徴とするRFIDシステム。
