Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明による有機EL素子は、基板1上に、陽極層2、正孔注入層3、正孔輸送層4、発光部5、電子輸送層6、電子注入層7、陰極層8が積層されている。発光部5は、3層の第1発光層10と、3層の正孔輸送層11と、第2発光層12とを有する。そして、3層の第1発光層10と、3層の正孔輸送層11は交互に周期的に積層されている。

Claims (4)
- 発光部を有する有機EL素子において、前記発光部は、発光材料からなる複数の発光層と正負いずれかの電荷が円滑に移動可能な電荷輸送材料からなる複数の電荷輸送層とが交互に周期的に積層されていることを特徴とする有機EL素子。
- 前記発光層を構成する発光材料は、トリスアルミニウム(Alq3)を主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記電荷輸送層は、正孔を円滑に移動可能な正孔輸送材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記電荷輸送層を構成する正孔輸送材料は、ナフテル・フェニル・ベンジン(NPB)を主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機EL素子。
