Description

The present invention relates to an apparatus for transporting the paper when printing on thick paper such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard with an ink jet recording apparatus or when inspecting the printed matter with a camera or the like.

Means for transporting the transport work such as the above-mentioned paper over a predetermined distance is one in which the transport work is sucked by a suction belt by air suction and transported (for example, see Patent Document 1), or glue is applied to the surface. 2. Description of the Related Art There is known a method in which a transport work is adhered to an applied transport belt in a state where the transport work is adhered, and is peeled off from the transport belt at the end of transport (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

特開昭59−20673号公報JP 59-20673 A 特開昭62−250973号公報JP 62-250973 A

In the technique described in Patent Document 1, when the transport work is cardboard or corrugated paper, it is partially lifted with respect to the transport belt due to the warpage and non-uniformity of flatness. Therefore, printing may be performed on the surface of the transport work on the transport path, or transport defects may occur during the inspection. To prevent this, measures such as slowing the transport speed must be taken. There is a problem of not becoming.

In particular, in order to obtain a clear image by printing on the above-mentioned cardboard or corrugated cardboard with an ink jet recording apparatus, it is necessary to install the print head at a very short distance from the transport work, In the case of detection, since the inspection accuracy requires the stability of the focal length, warping or distortion occurs in the transport work, and the flatness of the work is impaired. There is a part that cannot be adsorbed, and it is conveyed while it is partly lifted, causing problems such as poor printing due to rubbing and colliding with the print head, and deterioration in detection accuracy due to changes in focal length. It may end up.

On the other hand, even if the suction force by the conveyor belt is increased to increase the suction force, the suction force is generated by generating a negative pressure in the suction hole portion provided in the conveyor belt. Because it depends on the density, there is a limit to the magnitude of this suction force. In this case, various adverse effects such as an increase in the running friction force of the conveyor belt against the suction table and a forced decrease in the conveyance speed occur. There will also be problems.

On the other hand, in the technique described in Patent Document 2, since the transport work is transported in a state where the transport work is adhered to the transport belt with glue, the friction force between the transport belt and the table for guiding the transport work increases. However, if the fabric is a non-stop, thin and soft material, it can be smoothly conveyed. However, with this technology, the width of the conveyor belt is the entire width of the conveyor surface, and it is conveyed over the entire surface. Since the workpiece is in contact, if the conveyed workpiece is warped, such as cardboard or corrugated paper, it is likely to partially peel from the conveying belt, and there is no means to attract this portion to the conveying belt. For this reason, such a transport work cannot be transported flat along the transport surface of the transport belt.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a paper transport apparatus capable of transporting thick paper such as cardboard or corrugated paper along a transport surface in an extremely flat state. It is what.

In order to achieve the above object, a sheet conveying apparatus according to the present invention includes a plurality of suction belts having a plurality of suction holes arranged in a row in a longitudinal direction in a sheet conveying area for conveying sheets, and an adhesive surface. A plurality of adhesive conveyance belts having a plurality of adhesive conveyance belts are alternately arranged in the width direction, a suction tank is provided below the suction belt and the adhesion conveyance belt in the paper conveyance area, and at least suction holes of the suction belt are provided in the suction tank. Opening holes corresponding to the rows are provided, and a pressing roller is provided at the most upstream portion of the sheet conveyance area.

And in the said structure, it was set as the structure which provided the temperature control apparatus which adjusts the adhesive force of the glue apply | coated to this adhesion | attachment conveyance belt on the stretched path of the adhesion conveyance belt.

According to the present invention, the suction force by the suction belt and the adhesive force by the paper adhesive belt can be applied alternately to the paper transported to the paper transport area in the width direction. Thus, the paper using thick paper such as cardboard or cardboard that has been pressed and pressed by the pressing roller can be transported in a state in which the flat posture is maintained without partially lifting.

Therefore, by using the paper conveyance device according to the present invention, when the ink jet recording device is installed in the paper conveyance area and printing is performed, the paper does not collide with the print head or is rubbed. Improvement and maintainability of expensive printing equipment were improved, and economic effects such as equipment maintenance costs could be obtained.

As described above, since the posture can be kept extremely flat when the paper is conveyed, the distance between the print head and the surface to be printed can be kept constant, so that clear image printing can be performed.

Furthermore, since the paper can be transported in an extremely flat state, by providing inspection means such as a camera in the paper transport area, this inspection can be performed stably, the inspection accuracy can be improved, and the production efficiency can be improved. did it.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a paper transport device. The paper transport device 1 has a paper transport area 4 between the upstream roller 2 and the downstream roller 3, and below these rollers 2 and 3 and the upstream roller 2. A plurality of, for example, four suction belts 6, 6,... Are wound around the guide roller 5 arranged on the side at equal intervals. Each suction belt 6 has a number of suction holes 7 arranged in a row in the longitudinal direction. A driving device is connected to any one of the rollers 2, 3 and 5, for example, the upstream roller 2, and the suction belt 6 is integrally driven by the rotational drive of the driving device. .

Further, another downstream roller 3a is provided slightly upstream of the downstream roller 3, and another guide roller 5a is provided below the guide roller 5, and the upstream roller 2 and the other downstream roller 3a are provided. .., And other guide rollers 5 a are wound around five adhering and conveying belts 8, 8,... That are positioned between the suction belts 6 and the outer sides of the outer suction belts 6.

A suction tank 9 is provided below the belts 6 and 8 in the sheet conveyance area 4. The suction belt 6 and the adhesive conveyance belt 8 are supported on the upper surface of the suction tank 9 so that the upper surfaces thereof are in a single plane. As shown in FIG. 3, slit-like opening holes 10 are provided on the upper surface of the suction tank 9 and at positions corresponding to the rows of the suction holes 7 of each suction belt 6. A hollow portion of the suction tank 9 is connected to a suction pump 11.

At the upstream side of the sheet conveying area 4 of each adhesive conveying belt 8, for example, at the position of another guide roller 5 a, an adhesive is applied to each outer surface by the glue application nozzle 12. Further, a cleaning device 13 for cleaning the glue adhering to the surface of each adhesive conveying belt 8 is opposed to the upstream side of the adhesive applying belt 12 of each adhesive conveying belt 8.

Print heads 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d that perform yellow, magenta, cyan, and black printing synchronously in order from the upstream side in the transport direction are provided above the paper transport area 4. An inspection camera 15 is provided in the most downstream portion of these.

A paper carry-in path 16 is connected to the upstream side of the paper transport apparatus 1, and a paper carry-out path 17 is connected to the downstream side. A pressing roller 18 that presses and opposes the upper side of the upstream roller 2 is provided at the most upstream portion of the sheet conveying area 4 of the sheet conveying apparatus 1. The pressing roller 18 is driven to rotate in the conveyance direction of the paper 19.

In this embodiment, a thick paper 19 such as cardboard or cardboard paper carried in from the paper carry-in path 16 is pressed by the pressing roller 18 at the uppermost stream portion of the paper transport area 4, and the lower surface thereof is sucked by a suction belt. 6 and the adhesive conveying belt 8 are pressed into a flat shape and carried into the sheet conveying area 4. The paper 19 in the paper transport area 4 is temporarily bonded to the adhesive transport belt 8 by the adhesive applied to the adhesive transport belt 8 by being pressed by the pressure roller 18 and is sucked to the suction belt 6. The belts 6 and 8 are transported as they travel. At the end of the paper transport area 4, the belts 6, 8 wrap around and travel downward, so that the lower surface of the paper 19 is released from the suction force from the belts 6, 8 and the downstream paper transport path 17. It is carried out to. The transport surface of the adhesive transport belt 8 away from the paper 19 is cleaned by the cleaning device 13 and then coated again with the discharge nozzle 12 and travels to the paper transport area 4 side.

Then, predetermined printing is performed by the print heads 14 a to 14 d on the upper surface of the sheet 19 thus conveyed, and the printing surface at this time is detected by the inspection camera 15.

According to this embodiment, the sheet 19 conveyed through the sheet conveying area 4 is pressed flat by the pressing roller 18 over the entire width of the sheet 19 in the most upstream portion of the sheet conveying area 4. By this pressing, the suction force by the vacuum and the adhesive force by the adhesive are alternately applied to the paper 19 at equal intervals over the entire width thereof, and the paper 19 is cooperated by the suction force and the adhesive force. The paper is conveyed while maintaining a flat state without partially floating over the entire area of the paper conveyance area 4 that has passed through the pressing roller 18.

The glue applied to the adhesive conveying belt 8 is appropriately selected as to whether it is applied over the entire region of the belt 8 in the running direction or partially applied. In addition, this glue has an adhesive force that is not easily peeled off in the direction perpendicular to the bonding surface, and is easily peeled off when the peeling portion is linear from the leading end portion in the conveyance direction at the guide roller 3a portion. The one whose adhesiveness is adjusted is used.

Depending on the type of glue, whether the glue after peeling remains on the sheet 19 side, remains on both the sheet 19 and the adhesive transport belt 8, or further remains on the adhesive transport belt 8 side. Depending on the purpose of use of the product, it can be selected. If it remains on the adhesive conveying belt 8 side, it is cleaned by the cleaning device 13 as shown in the figure.

Further, when the adhesive strength of the glue changes depending on the temperature, as shown in FIG. 4, a heating device is provided on the downstream side of the glue application nozzle 12 or on the upstream side of the peeling portion by the guide roller 3 a, or A temperature adjusting device 20 such as a cooling device can be installed to adjust the adhesiveness. In addition, various surface properties of the paper 19 and the adhesive conveyance belt 8 can be selected, and the consistency with the glue and the strength of the peelability can be selected and used.

The drag force against the floating of the adhesive transport belt 8 when traveling along the upper surface of the suction tank 9 is generated by belt tension. In order to increase the drag force against the lift, the adhesive transport belt 8 is formed on the upper surface of the suction tank 9. You may provide the opening part which makes a suction force act on the back surface.

Further, the adhesive conveyance belt 8 in the present invention is only required to have a function of temporarily adhering to the paper 19 in the paper conveyance area 4, and therefore, the adhesive conveyance belt 8 is provided with a belt having adhesiveness on the surface thereof from the beginning. It is also possible to employ a configuration in which a belt cleaning device is used to maintain the adhesiveness of the belt.
