Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 6-312407

A wood grain board transferring a wood grain pattern to the surface of the plywood transfers the wood grain pattern to the plane of the plywood. This wood grain board can transfer the natural wood grain pattern on the plane, but cannot print the natural wood grain pattern on the wood edge. For this reason, a paint having a color similar to that of a natural board is applied to the mouth. It is clear that the wood grain board is a board on which a wood grain pattern is not printed on the flat surface and the mouth end surface as in the case of the natural board, and a wood grain pattern which is not a natural natural board is printed.

The present invention has been developed for the purpose of solving such drawbacks. An important object of the present invention is to produce a wood grain board that can print a natural grain wood pattern not only on the plane of the wood grain board but also on the face of the wood grain, and can finely finish the boundary between the plane pattern and the wood edge pattern. It is to provide a method.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the method for producing a wood grain board of the present invention has the following configuration. The method of manufacturing the wood grain plate is processed by a cutting process in which the MDF 1 having a predetermined thickness is cut into a predetermined outer shape, and the boundary between the plane 1A and the mouth is curved with a predetermined curvature radius, and the cutting process is performed. In addition, an undercoating process for applying a base coating to the flat surface 1A and the front end 1B of the MDF 1, a printing process for printing a wood grain pattern on the surface of the base coating, and a transparent or translucent surface on the surface of the MDF 1 on which the wood grain pattern is printed in the printing process And an overcoating step for applying a finish paint. The printing process includes a flat surface printing process for printing a natural wood flat pattern on the flat surface 1A of the MDF 1 and a lip printing process for printing a natural wood lip pattern on the natural mouth surface 1B of the MDF 1. In the lip print process, the MDF 1 lip is pressed against the surface of the surface elastic transfer roller 4, and the transfer roller 4 is rotated along the lip in the state where the transfer roller 4 is pressed against the lip of the MDF 1. Transcription of natural wood

The wood grain board manufacturing method of the present invention can process the wood end surface 1B of the MDF 1 into a central convex curved surface in the cutting step.

In the wood grain board manufacturing method of the present invention, a natural board having the same outer shape as that of the MDF 1 can be manufactured in the wood edge printing process, and the planar pattern and the wood edge pattern of the natural board can be printed on the surface of the MDF 1.

In the method for producing a wood grain board of the present invention, a mask pattern can be printed by attaching a masking tape to a part of the surface of the MDF 1 in the mouth print process.

In the method for producing a wood grain board of the present invention, the flat surface 1A of the MDF 1 to which the base coating material is applied is locally pressed to provide an embossing process in which the base coating material and the MDF 1 are provided with a grainy texture pattern. A flat pattern and a lip pattern can be printed on the surface provided with the.

The method for producing a wood grain board according to the present invention includes an embossing process in which an uneven pattern is provided by locally pressing a flat surface of an MDF 1 on which a flat pattern is printed, and the MDF 1 provided with the uneven pattern in the embossing process is finished in a top coating process. Can be applied.

The method for producing a wood grain board according to the present invention can print a wood grain pattern on a natural board not only on the plane of the wood grain board but also on the face of the wood grain, and can finely finish the boundary between the plane pattern and the wood grain pattern. In the wood grain board manufacturing method of the present invention, in the cutting process, the boundary between the MDF plane and the mouth is chamfered with a predetermined radius of curvature, and the surface of the plane and the mouth end on which the base coating is applied in the undercoating process is applied. A wood grain pattern is printed in the printing process, and this printing process includes a flat surface printing process for printing a natural wood flat pattern on the MDF plane, and a lip printing process for printing a natural wood lip pattern on the MDF top face. Further, in the lip print process, the MDF lip is rotated along the lip in a state where the lip of the MDF is pressed against the surface of the surface elastic transfer roller, and the lip of the natural wood is formed on the lip of the MDF. It is because it is transcribing.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. However, the examples shown below exemplify a method for manufacturing a wood grain board for embodying the technical idea of the present invention, and the present invention does not specify the following method for manufacturing a wood grain board.

Further, in this specification, in order to facilitate understanding of the scope of claims, numbers corresponding to the members shown in the examples are indicated in the “claims” and “means for solving problems” sections. It is added to the members. However, the members shown in the claims are not limited to the members in the embodiments.

The method for producing a wood grain board of the present invention does not print a wood grain pattern only on the MDF plane to provide a wood grain pattern. A grain pattern is printed not only on the MDF plane but also on the end of the MDF. Further, a flat wood grain pattern such as a natural board grain or a regular eye is not provided on the MDF wood face, but the same wood pattern as the natural board is printed. In the MDF, in order to print a flat pattern on a flat surface and a clear pattern on the end surface, a base coating is applied to the surface of the MDF in the undercoating step. The base paint smoothes the surface of the MDF plane and the end face. Further, the surface of the MDF plane and the front end is colored with a base color that is optimal for printing a wood grain pattern. The undercoating step includes applying a sealer to the surface of the MDF, impregnating the sealer with the surface of the MDF, a second undercoating step of applying an ultraviolet curable coating to the surface of the sealer, and a surface of the ultraviolet curable coating. And a third undercoating step of applying MDF to the base color by applying a base color paint.

In the first undercoating step, the base paint is adhered to the MDF so as not to peel off. The sealer used in this process is impregnated on the surface of the MDF and the surface of the mouth end, and firmly adheres the base paint to the MDF. The sealer is a low-viscosity polyester-based or urethane-based liquid paint that penetrates into the fine gaps of the MDF and adheres firmly to the MDF.

The ultraviolet curable coating in the second undercoating step is quickly cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays with a urethane-based coating. This UV curable coating makes the base coating a tough layer. The UV curable paint is not colored, and the base color paint applied in the next third undercoat step is firmly bonded to the sealer layer. The ultraviolet curable coating applied in the second undercoating step is cured by the irradiated ultraviolet rays, and then the surface is polished with a brush sander.

The base color paint in the third undercoating process is used to color the base color of the wood grain pattern, and the surface of the MDF is colored closer to white than the summer color of the wood grain printed in the printing process. The base color paint almost completely hides the base and colors the entire surface of the MDF with a uniform and uniform color. Further, in the undercoat process, the base color paint is applied in the third undercoat process, and after the base color paint is cured, an ultraviolet curable paint is further applied to the surface thereof. After curing the UV curable coating with UV light, the entire surface is uniformly polished with a sander.

In the next printing process, the MDF to which the base paint is applied prints a wood grain pattern on the surface of the flat surface and the end face. In this printing process, the MDF prints a wood grain pattern on the base paint. The printing process includes a flat surface printing process for printing a natural wood plane pattern on the MDF plane, and a lip printing process for printing a natural wood lip pattern on the MDF outer periphery.

In the printing process, the MDF is planar printed by the transfer device shown in FIGS. FIG. 1 shows a transfer device used in a flat surface printing process, and FIGS. 2 and 3 show a transfer device used in a lip printing process.

The transfer device shown in these figures has a concave portion constituting a wood grain pattern on the surface, and is provided so as to be rotatable via a bearing, and a concave portion of the engraving roller 3. An ink supply unit 2 that supplies ink to the concave portion of the engraving roller 3 and a transfer roller 4 that is a surface elastic unit 9 that can elastically deform the surface to which the ink supplied to the concave portion of the engraving roller 3 is transferred. Furthermore, the transfer apparatus of FIG. 1 includes a conveyor 5 that transports the MDF 1.

The surface elastic portion 9 of the transfer roller 4 is pressed against the flat surface 1A or the front end surface 1B of the MDF 1 subjected to the ground treatment. In this state, the transfer roller 4 and the MDF 1 are not slipped, and the transfer roller 4 is rotated, A lip pattern is printed. In the flat surface printing process, the transfer pattern of the flat surface pattern is transferred by the transfer roller 4 while the transfer speed of the conveyor 5 is equal to the peripheral speed of the transfer roller 4 and the MDF 1 is transferred by the conveyor 5. In the flat surface printing process, the MDF 1 has a flat pattern printed on a portion of the flat surface 1A and the chamfered portion 1C. The MDF 1 is provided with a chamfered portion 1C having a predetermined radius of curvature at the boundary between the plane 1A and the end face 1B. Since the chamfered portion 1C becomes parallel to the plane 1A as it approaches the boundary with the plane 1A, a plane pattern is printed by the surface elastic portion 9 of the transfer roller 4 on the boundary portion between the chamfered portion 1C and the plane 1A. The A region where the transfer roller 4 prints a planar pattern is indicated by a broken line in FIG. The width at which the planar pattern is printed on the chamfered portion 1 </ b> C varies depending on the pressure with which the MDF 1 is pressed against the transfer roller 4. When the MDF is strongly pressed against the transfer roller, the width in which the flat pattern is printed on the chamfered portion is widened. On the contrary, if the pressure for pressing the MDF against the transfer roller is weakened, the width in which the flat pattern is printed on the chamfered portion becomes narrow. In the flat surface printing step, the pressing force of the MDF on the transfer roller is preferably adjusted so that the chamfered portion 1C prints a flat pattern on 20% to 80%, preferably 30% to 70% of the entire width.

In the lip print process, the operator holds the MDF 1 with his hand or with a robot arm and presses the lip 1B of the MDF 1 against the surface elastic portion 9 of the transfer roller 4 so that the lip 1B is against the transfer roller 4. The lip face 1B is moved along the surface of the transfer roller 4 so as not to slip, and a lip pattern is printed on the lip face 1B. At this time, the transfer roller 4 is pressed and elastically deformed by the MDF 1, and the front end surface 1 B and the chamfered portions 1 C on both sides thereof are brought into close contact with the surface elastic portion 9 of the transfer roller 4 and adhered to the surface of the transfer roller 4. The transferred ink is transferred to the end surface 1B and the chamfered portion 1C.

The pressure that presses the MDF 1 against the transfer roller 4 changes the amount of elastic deformation of the surface elastic portion 9 of the transfer roller 4. When the pressing force of the MDF 1 is increased, the elastic deformation of the surface elastic portion 9 is large, and when the pressing force is decreased, the elastic deformation is decreased. The amount of elastic deformation of the surface elastic part 9 specifies the width of the wood grain pattern printed on the chamfered part 1C. When the MDF 1 is strongly pressed against the transfer roller 4 and the surface elastic portion 9 is greatly deformed, in other words, when the MDF 1 is deeply pressed into the surface elastic portion 9, a wide grain pattern is printed on the chamfered portion 1C. This is because the width at which the chamfered portion 1C contacts the surface elastic portion 9 is increased. A region where the transfer roller 4 prints a lip pattern is indicated by a one-dot chain line in FIG. In the lip print process, the width for printing the lip pattern on the chamfered portion 1C is adjusted to a width that wraps a part of the lip pattern and the planar pattern to form the wrap portion 12, as shown in FIG. That is, in the chamfered portion 1C, printing is performed in a state where the planar pattern and the lip pattern are partially wrapped.

In the above method, a wood grain pattern is printed on the MDF in the lip printing process after the planar printing process, but the grain pattern can also be provided on the MDF in the planar printing process after the lip printing process. However, regardless of before and after the flat print process and the lip print process, the flat pattern of the flat print process and the lip pattern of the lip print process are printed so as to wrap at a predetermined width in the chamfered portion.

The engraving roller 3 contacts the transfer roller 4 and rotates. The engraving roller 3 specifies the wood grain pattern to be transferred to the surface of the MDF 1 in the shape of a recess provided on the surface. This is because the ink filled in the recesses is transferred to the surface of the MDF 1 to form a pattern. Therefore, the surface of the engraving roller 3 is provided with a recess having the same shape as the wood pattern of the natural plate. The engraving roller 3 used in the flat surface printing process is provided with a plate or regular plane pattern that appears on the plane of the natural plate. Further, the engraving roller 3 used in the lip printing process is provided with a lip pattern that is a pattern of the lip of the natural plate.

The concave portion of the engraving roller 3 transfers the dark wood pattern by deepening the portion where the ink is transferred deeply and shallowing the portion where the ink is transferred thinly. The engraving roller 3 is provided with a recess having a shape for displaying a natural wood grain pattern on the surface. However, the engraving roller wood grain pattern is obtained by processing a natural plate into the same shape as the MDF, and the same plane as the natural plate. A pattern and a cutout pattern.

The engraving roller 3 is provided with a concave portion on the surface for realizing a planer pattern or a grain pattern of a lip. The engraving roller 3 is a metal roller, which can corrode a smooth finished surface to provide a concave portion in the same manner as a wood grain pattern, or can cut the surface with a blade to provide a wood grain pattern in the concave portion.

The ink supply unit 2 supplies ink to the recesses of the engraving roller 3. The ink supply unit 2 of the apparatus of FIG. 1 includes a supply roller 6 that rotates in contact with the surface of the engraving roller 3, and an ink tank 7 that stores ink that contacts a part of the supply roller 6. The ink supply unit 2 rotates the supply roller 6 to supply the ink in the ink tank 7 to the concave portion of the engraving roller 3. As shown in FIG. 1, when the supply roller 6 rotates, ink adheres to the surface of the supply roller 6. The engraving roller 3 and the supply roller 6 are rotated in opposite directions with their surfaces in contact. Ink adhering to the surface of the supply roller 6 is transferred to the engraving roller 3. Since the engraving roller 3 and the supply roller 6 are rotating in contact with each other, excess ink, in other words, ink adhering to portions other than the recesses is removed when passing through the supply roller 6. Accordingly, the ink is supplied only to the concave portions on the surface of the engraving roller 3 that has passed the supply roller 6.

The structure of the ink supply unit that supplies ink to the concave portion of the engraving roller is not specified as shown in FIG. The ink supply unit can be any mechanism that can supply ink to the recesses of the engraving roller. 2 includes a scraping blade 8 that contacts the surface of the engraving roller 3 and scrapes ink adhering to the surface, and an ink tank 7 that stores ink that contacts a part of the engraving roller 3. Is provided. The ink supply unit 2 rotates the engraving roller 3 at a position where the engraving roller 3 comes into contact with the ink, and causes the ink in the ink tank 7 to adhere to the surface of the engraving roller 3. Ink adhering to the surface of the engraving roller 3 is scraped off by the scraping blade 8. Since the ink supplied to the recess of the engraving roller 3 is not scraped off by the scraping blade 8, the ink is supplied only to the recess.

The transfer roller 4 is provided with a surface elastic portion 9 by fixing a rubber-like elastic body 11 on the surface of the rotating shaft 10. The surface elastic part 9 of the rubber-like elastic body 11 has flexibility to press the MDF 1 against the surface and elastically deform it. The surface elastic portion 9 can be made flexible so that a wide variety of wood grain patterns can be transferred to the chamfered portion 1C. However, if the surface elastic part 9 is too soft, it becomes difficult to transfer the pattern neatly and stably. Therefore, the rubber-like elastic body 11 of the surface elastic part 9 is stable in the pressing force of the MDF, the area to be transferred, and the stability. In consideration of the fact that the pattern can be transferred cleanly, the one with the optimum hardness is selected.

The transfer roller 4 is rotated by a rotation mechanism (not shown) and moves along the surface of the MDF 1. The rotation mechanism is a motor connected to the rotation shaft 10 of the transfer roller 4. However, the rotation mechanism can also rotate the transfer roller via the engraving roller without directly rotating the transfer roller. In this apparatus, the engraving roller is rotated by a motor, and the transfer roller brought into contact with the engraving roller is rotated. However, the transfer device preferably rotates the supply roller, the engraving roller, and the transfer roller at such a speed that the portions that contact each other do not slip.

The above transfer apparatus transfers the wood grain pattern onto the surface of the MDF in the following steps. In the MDF, the pattern is transferred by attaching ink to the surface in the following steps. However, the steps (1) and (2) are continuously performed at the same time, and the pattern is attached to the surface of the MDF.

(1) The transfer device rotates the supply roller 6, the engraving roller 3, and the transfer roller 4 in synchronization so as not to slip. The supply roller 6 attaches the ink of the ink tank 7 to the surface and supplies it to the recess of the engraving roller 3. The ink supplied to the recess of the engraving roller 3 is transferred from the recess of the engraving roller 3 to the surface of the transfer roller 4.
(2) The MDF 1 is pressed against the surface of the transfer roller 4, or the transfer roller 4 is rotated on the surface of the MDF 1 to elastically deform the surface of the transfer roller 4, and the transfer roller 4 is pressed against the MDF 1 and rotated. . In this state, the ink adhering to the surface of the transfer roller 4 is transferred to the surface of the MDF 1.

In the above transfer apparatus and method, ink is transferred directly from the engraving roller 3 to the transfer roller 4 by rotating the engraving roller 3 and the surface of the transfer roller 4 in contact with each other. One or more intermediate rollers are provided between the transfer roller, and the intermediate roller, the engraving roller, and the transfer roller are rotated in contact with each other, and the ink on the engraving roller is transferred to the transfer roller via the intermediate roller. You can also

Thereafter, in the embossing process, the surface of the MDF 1 on which the wood grain pattern is printed is locally pressed to provide the ground coating on which the wood grain pattern is printed and the MDF 1 with an uneven grain pattern. However, the embossing process can be a pre-process of the printing process for printing the wood grain pattern. In this method, an uneven pattern of grain is provided in an embossing process on the base paint on which the grain pattern is not printed and the MDF 1, and the grain pattern is printed on the surface of the base paint provided with the unevenness of the grain in the next printing process.

In the final overcoating process, a transparent or translucent finish paint is applied to the surface of the MDF 1 on which the grain pattern is printed in the printing process and the grainy uneven pattern is provided in the embossing process. The top coating process consists of a first top coating process in which a first finish paint is applied by a roll coater and a second top coating process in which an ultraviolet curable paint is applied to the surface of the first finish paint applied in the first top coating process. Apply paint.

In the following process, the side plate of the bookshelf put on a desk is manufactured.
[Cutting process]
The MDF 1 having a predetermined thickness is cut into a predetermined outer shape. The MDF 1 is a chamfered portion 1C by chamfering the boundary between the plane 1A and the end surface 1B so as to bend with a predetermined radius of curvature. The end face 1B of the MDF 1 can be processed into a central convex curved surface as shown in FIG. However, the front end can be flat.

[Priming process]
(1) First primer step First, as a first primer step, a sanding sealer is applied with a roll coater.
(2) Second primer step After the sanding sealer is cured, an ultraviolet curable coating is applied as the second primer step. This ultraviolet curable coating is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays. After curing the UV curable paint, the surface is polished with a brush sander machine.
(3) Third primer step After that, as the third primer step, the base color paint is applied thickly with a flow rotor machine, the base is almost completely hidden, and the surface of the MDF is colored light brown.
(4) After the base color paint is cured, an ultraviolet curable paint is further applied to the surface, and this is cured by irradiating with ultraviolet rays. After the UV curable coating is cured, the surface is polished with a wide sander.

[Printing process]
(1) Plane printing step As shown in FIG. 1, the MDF 1 is transferred by the conveyor 5, the transfer roller 4 is pressed on the upper surface thereof, and a plane pattern is printed on the plane 1 </ b> A of the MDF 1. After the printed plane pattern is dried, the MDF 1 is turned upside down and transferred by the conveyor 5 to print the plane pattern on the other plane 1A. In this flat surface printing step, as shown in FIG. 4, a flat pattern is also printed on one side portion of the chamfered portion 1C adjacent to the flat surface 1A.

(2) Kiguchi printing process Two kinds of wood grain patterns having different patterns, ie, first and second wood edge patterns, are printed on the face 1B. The wood grain pattern formed on the wood face 1B of the outer periphery of the natural plate is different from the wood grain pattern formed on the wood face 1B parallel to the wood grain. The wood grain pattern 1B intersecting the grain is a pattern that cuts the grain, and the pattern of the grain face 1B parallel to the grain is a shape in which the grain extends along the surface. The first grain pattern can be made to intersect with the grain, and the second grain pattern can be made parallel to the grain so that the grain pattern is closer to a natural board. The first and second lip patterns are provided on the lip face 1B in agreement with the planar pattern.

Prior to printing of the lip pattern, masking tape is applied to the entire area where the second lip pattern is printed or to the boundary portion between the first lip pattern and the first area. Adhere.

The MDF 1 having a flat pattern printed on the flat surface 1A is held by hand, the front surface 1B on which the first front end pattern is printed is pressed against the rotating transfer roller 4, and the front end surface 1B is moved along the transfer roller 4 to move the MDF 1 A first lip pattern is printed on the lip face 1B. Thereafter, the masking tape is peeled off, and the first end pattern is dried. Thereafter, the end face 1B on which the second end face pattern is printed is pressed against the rotating transfer roller 4, and the end face 1B is moved along the transfer roller 4 so that the second end face 1B of the MDF 1 is moved to the second end face 1B. Prints the piercing pattern. The second wood pattern is wrapped with the first wood pattern at the boundary, and the first and second wood patterns are made continuous so that there is no gap.

In this lip print process, a lip pattern is also printed on the chamfered portion 1C adjacent to the lip face 1B. As shown in FIG. 4, the lip pattern printed on the chamfered portion 1 </ b> C is partially wrapped with the planar pattern previously printed on the plane 1 </ b> A in the planar printing process to become the wrap portion 12. That is, the flat pattern and the lip pattern are wrapped by the chamfered portion 1C, and the flat pattern and the lip pattern are printed without providing an unprinted area between the flat pattern and the lip pattern. By wrapping and printing the flat pattern and the lip pattern along the middle of the chamfered portion 1C that is curved with a predetermined radius of curvature, the boundary between the flat pattern and the lip pattern can be distinguished from the natural wood grain pattern. It is possible to make a high quality wood grain pattern unique to natural board. The wrap portion 12 can be narrowed to finish the boundary portion between the flat pattern and the lip pattern with a beautiful appearance.

[Embossing process]
After the paint for printing the wood grain pattern is dried, the grain pattern is provided on the base paint and the MDF. In this step, an embossing roller provided with innumerable convex portions forming a wood grain pattern is pressed against the surface of the MDF to provide wood grain pattern irregularities, more precisely, wood grain pattern concave portions. An embossing roller rolls in the state which presses the surface of MDF, and provides the grain-shaped recessed part on the surface of MDF.

[Coating process]
A finish paint is applied to the surface of the MDF on which the grain pattern is printed and the irregularities of the grain pattern are provided. The finish paint is applied to the surface of the base paint in a first top coating process in which a transparent paint is applied by a roll coater and a second top coating process in which an ultraviolet curable paint is applied thereon. In the first overcoating step, a urethane, polyester, or acrylic paint is applied. After this coating is cured, a urethane-based ultraviolet curing coating is applied.

Through the above-described steps, a wood grain board used for the side board of the bookshelf, in which a beautiful wood grain pattern composed of three-dimensional unevenness and a wood grain pattern is provided on the plane and the mouth end surface, is manufactured.

Except for printing a flat pattern on one side of the MDF and omitting the embossing process, if a table top plate is manufactured in the same manner as in Example 1, a high-quality wood grain pattern that cannot be distinguished from a natural plate is manufactured. it can.
