For aluminum-based metal members such as highly decorative aluminum parts, those that always have a new aesthetic are required. An object of the present invention is to provide a glossy aluminum-based metal material having a metallic feeling different from that of the aluminum surface having a metallic feeling.

The present inventor repeated many trials and errors in order to enhance the decorativeness of the aluminum parts, and the color clear coating film on the mirror surface of the aluminum product in which the convex surface of the pear surface was mirrored by buffing or the like on the surface of the pear surface. As a result, it was confirmed that the material had a metallic luster that was not found in conventional aluminum products, and the present invention was completed.

That is, the aluminum-based metal member of the present invention has a predetermined shape, and at least a part of the surface becomes a textured textured surface, and at least a part of the textured convex part constituting the textured surface is polished. A color clear coating integrally formed on at least a part of the surface of the metal body including a mirror-finished metal body made of an aluminum-based metal and the part of the matte skin having the convex portion that is the mirror surface And the portion including the mirror surface covered with the color clear coating film is a metal-sensitive surface having a metallic luster.

The light emitted from the mirror surface of the pear-textured surface of the metal body made of an aluminum-based metal is suppressed by the color component of the color clear coating, which is unique to the aluminum-based metal. Reflected light comes out from the inside of the paint film due to the thickness of the transparent part of the color clear paint film, and the metal with the color gives a soft and shallow glow.

The aluminum member is formed into a predetermined shape by casting, forging or die casting. In casting, the surface of the aluminum part becomes a textured surface due to the mold, and the surface may be textured by shot blasting to make the surface uneven. Further, in forging, a predetermined shape is obtained by the subsequent cutting process, and the surface is smoothed by shot blasting in order to erase the cutting trace and make the surface uniform. In the case of die-casting as well, in order to make the surface uniform, shot blasting may be used to make the textured surface. Shot blasting has a non-directional finished surface and has the effect of eliminating fine cutting finish cracks.

Here, pear-textured skin is a surface that is generally known as pear-textured skin and has a surface with irregularities that can be visually recognized.

The metal body of the present invention is a surface polished by barrel polishing or buffing the top of the convex part of the convex concave part forming the pear texture, and the top part of the convex part of the pear texture surface is dispersed as a small mirror surface, Or it has the surface disperse | distributed in the matrix which the recessed part of the satin surface became the mirror surface. Depending on the degree of polishing, the metal feeling can be slightly different.

Here, the mirror surface means a surface polished by buffing or the like. Generally speaking, a mirror refers to a glass mirror, which is a silver mirror on a glass plate that is silver-plated by a silver mirror reaction and uses the back surface thereof, but may also be a metal mirror that has been used since ancient times. The mirror surface of the present invention refers to this metal mirror. Mirrors use reflected light, but reflected light includes specular reflection and diffuse reflection. Specular reflection appears to shine brightly due to the reflection of the light source. In specular reflection, it looks brightest when viewed from an angle equal to the angle of incident light, and the brightness decreases rapidly as the angle of the viewpoint shifts. In diffuse reflection, incident light enters minute scratches on the metal surface, repeats random reflections, and then exits from the surface again. Except for gold and copper, all metals have a similar silver-white color, but this whitish color is due to diffuse reflection. In diffuse reflection, the brightness does not depend on the direction of the line of sight, and the stronger the diffuse reflection, the brighter the color appears. The ratio of reflecting light is referred to as reflectance, and the higher the reflectance, the closer to the mirror. When the reflectance is high, the color of the object itself is difficult to see, and when the reflectance is the same, the lower the diffuse reflection, the closer to the mirror.

The present invention utilizes this principle. That is, the mirror surface polished by buffing or the like has fine scratches and part of the incident light is diffusely reflected. Due to the diffuse reflection and the colored components of the color clear coating film, the silver-white color of the metal disappears, and the color of the colored clear coloring component appears to be vivid as if it were generated from inside the color clear coating film. In this way, at least a convex portion of the convex concave portion constituting part of the satin finish is mirror-polished and color-clear coated to provide an aluminum-based metal member having an unprecedented colored metallic luster. is there.

It is also possible to change the degree of polishing of the convex portion of the concave portion constituting at least the pear surface of the metal body depending on the location of the pear surface. The mirror surface may be an aluminum-based metal member covered with a color clear coating film having a mirror surface portion having a large mirror surface area and a mirror surface portion having a small area at the top of the polished convex / concave portion. As described above, the degree of diffuse reflection is changed and the design is improved.

The aluminum-based metal member of the present invention may have a top coat coating film made of a clear coating film on the color clear coating. The top coat paint film feels that reflected light is generated from a deep place, and the top coat paint film can be blended with an ultraviolet absorber to protect the color clear paint film from ultraviolet rays.

In addition, a primer coating film can be provided between the mirror surface of the metal body of the aluminum-based metal member and the color clear coating film. The primer coating film improves the adhesion between the metal body and the color clear coating film.

The primer layer and the top coat layer must also have transparency.

Examples of the aluminum-based metal member of the present invention include aluminum parts such as an aluminum wheel, an aluminum cylinder, and a bottom case that require decorativeness.

The color of the color clear coating film can be freely selected.

The aluminum-based metal member of the present invention has a metal body and a color clear coating film. The metal body is made of an aluminum-based metal and has a predetermined shape, and at least a part of the surface is a satin finish, and at least a part of the projections of the concave and convex portions constituting the satin finish is a mirror surface. . The aluminum-based metal refers to aluminum and an aluminum alloy mainly composed of aluminum. Having a predetermined shape means being formed into a predetermined shape by casting, forging, die casting, machining, extrusion, or the like. A plate material and an extruded material having a predetermined cross section are also included. Specifically, the shape of the aluminum wheel, the cylinder of the cylinder, the fuel tank, etc. correspond to the predetermined shape.

The aluminum part is made of an aluminum base metal and has a predetermined shape.

The pear texture is generally formed by shot blasting. Sand blasting is a processing method in which sea sand, silica sand or the like is blown from a nozzle together with compressed air. Sometimes steel particles are used instead of sand, which is also called shot blasting. As long as at least a part of the surface of the aluminum-based metal body has a satin finish, the processing method is not limited to shot blasting, sand blasting, liquid honing, or other processing methods.

The mirror surface is a surface that has been polished by buffing or the like. It is preferable that the face is reflected like a mirror.

The mirror surface is not limited to a mirror surface obtained by a polishing method such as buffing or barrel polishing. What is necessary is that the surface is smooth and the same quality as that of normal buffing or smoother than that of any other method such as machining.

Pretreatment refers to a process that precedes the painting process. It refers to the process of removing metal powder adhering by polishing and performing degreasing, washing with water, chemical conversion treatment, washing with water and the like. The chemical conversion treatment includes chromate treatment or non-chromate treatment.

The color clear coating film is a coating film obtained by applying a color clear paint in which a colorant is added to the clear paint. This coating film can be called a colored transparent film. As the colorant, pigments and dyes can be used. The blending ratio of the pigment and the dye to the vehicle varies depending on the color to be used, and can be freely selected according to preference. The film thickness of the color clear coating film can be freely selected depending on the required transparency.

The color clear coating film may contain a component of an ultraviolet absorber.

The aluminum-based metal member of the present invention is such that part of its surface has a metallic luster and has a gentle pattern depending on the degree of polishing of the textured surface, so that reflected light is generated from the inside of the color clear coating film. It has a visible color. Unlike the conventional use of plating or the like, this metallic luster is caused by the nature of the material itself, and the luster is soft and has a high-class feeling.

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are described below.

FIG. 1 shows a plan view of an aluminum wheel 1 which is an aluminum-based metal member of this embodiment, and FIG. The aluminum wheel 1 includes a metal main body 11 made of an aluminum alloy, a chromate treatment layer 12, a primer layer 13, and a color clear coating film.

The metal body 11 is formed by gravity casting an aluminum alloy for processing using a mold, and includes a hub part 111, a spoke part 112, and a flange part 113. The spoke portion 112 has a central groove 114 extending in the longitudinal direction at the center thereof. This metal body 11 was prepared as follows.

First, the entire surface on the front side (front side) from the cast state was shot blasted with stainless steel particles having a particle size of about 0.8 mm at an air pressure of 1 to 2 kg / cm 2 for about 3 minutes, so that the front side of the aluminum wheel was entirely textured. Next, the surface of the hub portion 111, the spoke portion 112, and the flange portion 113, except for the central groove 114, is barrel-polished for about 10 minutes, and the tip of the convex portion of the uneven portion constituting the satin finish is polished so that only the head is The surface was somewhat flat. Further, the surface of the spoke part 112 was buffed to obtain a substantially flat mirror surface. The central groove 114 of the spoke part 112 has not been subjected to barrel polishing or puff polishing, and has left a surface close to a satin finish.

Polishing debris such as metal powder was removed from the metal main body 11 thus obtained, and alkaline degreasing / washing with water, chromate treatment / water washing were performed to form a chromate treatment layer 12. Then, the primer layer 13 was formed by applying an epoxy primer on the surface of the metal body. Thereafter, a color clear coating film 14 was formed by applying a color clear coating made of an acrylic paint containing about 3% of a transparent ferric oxide pigment and an ultraviolet light inhibitor.

The average coating thickness of the primer layer 13 was about 10 μm, and the coating thickness of the color clear coating film 14 was about 20 μm on average. Thus, the aluminum wheel 1 of this example was manufactured.

The appearance of the front surface of the aluminum wheel 1 was that the flange portion 113 had the same color but a high degree of diffuse reflection, and had a metallic feeling that the contour of the wheel was clearly visible. The hub portion 111 has a similar metallic feeling. These portions are shown as hatched portions in FIG.

Since the spoke part 112 was close to a mirror surface, it seemed that yellow was emphasized with a gloss with a metallic feeling. Further, the central groove 114 of the spoke part 112 had almost no shine, and the groove was clearly visible. This portion is shown as a cross line portion in FIG.

For reference, the surface roughness measurement result of the pear surface after shot blasting (cross line portion in FIG. 1) is shown in FIG. The surface roughness measurement result of the mirror-finished textured surface (shaded area in FIG. 1) in which only the head part is polished by polishing the tip of the part is shown in FIG. The surface roughness measurement results of the portion 112 are shown in FIG.

The measured length in the horizontal direction of the diagram of FIG. 3 was 2.5 cm, Rmax of a was 74.6 μm, Rmax of b was 46.9 μm, and Rmax of c was 10.6 μm. Compared with the roughness of the pear surface of a, the roughness of the mirror-finished pear surface of b is reduced by about 20 μm.

1 is a plan view of an aluminum wheel of Example 1.
