Description

The present invention relates to a paper sheet stacking apparatus mounted on a paper sheet processing apparatus that processes paper sheets such as banknotes, and in particular, paper sheets are fed out from a plurality of conveyance paths to one paper sheet stacking apparatus. The present invention relates to a paper sheet stacking apparatus for stacking paper sheets.

A paper sheet processing apparatus that processes paper sheets picks up one lot of paper sheets loaded in a stacked state one by one by a paper sheet take-out apparatus, and conveys them to a subsequent processing unit. For example, when the paper sheet transported in this way passes through a paper sheet discriminating device provided on the transport path, information on the transport destination is detected, and the paper sheet is provided on the transport path based on the detection result. The plurality of sorting gates are switched and transported to a predetermined transport destination, where stacking processing or sealing processing is performed.

In the stacking process, the sorted paper sheets are stacked by the paper sheet stacking apparatus. In recent years, an impeller stacking device has been used as a stacking means for paper sheets conveyed at high speed. This impeller stacking device is suitable for a case where paper sheets conveyed at high speed are continuously and equally spaced, absorbs the kinetic energy of paper sheets conveyed at high speed, decelerates, It is possible to stack them in the same stack. That is, the impeller stacking device takes in sheets one by one between the blades of the impeller stacking device, and stacks them in the stacking box as the impeller rotates.

Note that the paper sheets accumulated in the stacker are stored in a cassette when the collected paper sheets are taken out by an operator and transferred to a process such as resupply, for example, as in the case of a rejection ticket stacker. Or it may be moved to a sealing process.

For example, in the case of being stored in a cassette, when the batch collection of one lot is completed by the impeller stacking device, the discharge port (shutter) of each temporary stacking unit is opened to correspond to each temporary stacking chamber. The cassette is stored by being pressed by a pressing member (pressing plate).

Further, when the sealing process is performed, the paper sheets designated to be sealed are accumulated in the temporary stacker, and are conveyed to the belt winding unit and sealed with the paper band every time 100 sheets are reached.

The impeller stacking device used for either the stacking process or the sealing process performs a sufficient function by properly inserting paper sheets between the blades. There have been used methods such as arranging the conveyor belt with the distance between the blades of the impeller as short as possible, overlapping the belt with the blades, and nesting the guides in the blades.

Conventionally, in such a temporary stacker, it has been common for paper sheets to be sent one by one at regular intervals from one path. Therefore, the impellers received the sheets sent in this way one by one, decelerated and aligned in a temporary stacker (for example, see Patent Document 1).
JP-A-2-175559 (Page 1-3, FIG. 1)

However, in the method described in Patent Document 1, in order to stack the paper sheets sorted by the paper sheet processing apparatus, paths are generated as many as the number of sections, and an accumulation impeller is used for each of the generated paths. Therefore, there is a problem that the apparatus becomes complicated and large.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and allows paper sheets fed from a plurality of conveyance paths into which paper sheets are sorted to be collected and stacked by the same paper sheet stacking apparatus. According to the present invention, since paper sheets fed out from a plurality of conveyance paths into which paper sheets are sorted can be taken and stacked by the same paper sheet stacking apparatus, the apparatus can be reduced in size and simplified. It is possible to make a paper sheet stacking apparatus with excellent properties.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a paper sheet processing apparatus 1 equipped with a paper sheet stacking apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a front view showing a main part of the reject ticket stacking apparatus 33 according to the embodiment of the present invention.

First, the configuration of the paper sheet processing apparatus 1 will be described with reference to FIG. The paper sheet processing apparatus 1 determines whether a paper sheet P such as a banknote is genuine (true or fake) or correct (whether it can be redistributed or non-recyclable), The correct bills are classified and accumulated in the paper sheet stacking devices 30A to 31A for each type of the paper sheets P, and the slips are cut by the paper sheet cutting device 60, and the cut pieces are collected in a storage box (not shown). It is a device to do.

The paper sheet processing apparatus 1 is provided with a supply unit 10 that collectively feeds the stacked paper sheets P. The paper sheets P stacked on the supply unit 10 are taken out one by one at regular intervals by the take-out roller 10A, and are supplied to the transport path (transport means) 20. The take-out roller 10A takes out one sheet of paper P every rotation. The conveyance path 20 includes conveyance rollers (not shown) and a conveyance belt (not shown), and conveys the paper sheet P from the upstream in the conveyance direction to the downstream.

Further, a take-out roller detection sensor (take-out roller detection means) SC10 for detecting the take-out rotation of the take-out roller (take-out means) 10A is provided. Accordingly, the take-out roller detection sensor SC10 is a sensor that becomes dark once every time the take-out roller 10A rotates once.

In this manner, the paper sheet P supplied from the supply unit 10 by the take-out roller 10A is determined by the paper sheet determination unit 50. The paper sheet discriminating unit 50 detects and discriminates the physical characteristics of the paper sheet P, and includes a plurality of paper sheet discriminating devices 52A to 56. Is provided. Further, the paper sheet stacking devices 30 and 31 for stacking the paper sheets P determined to be correct bills based on the determination results of the paper sheet determining devices 52A to 52, and the paper sheets P determined to be non-performing papers. A paper sheet cutting device 60 for cutting, and a rejection ticket stacking device 33 for stacking counterfeit or rejection tickets are provided.

The take-out detection unit 51 detects the take-out state of the paper sheet P supplied from the supply unit 10 and notifies the control unit 2 of the detection result. If the detection result of this extraction state is, for example, when multiple sheets are picked up or the conveyance pitch is clogged, troubles such as being unable to be distributed by the sorting gate that is conveyed and processed downstream in the conveyance direction are likely to occur. Notify the control unit 2. The control unit 2 receives the notification of the take-out abnormality and rotates the sorting gate G40 that sorts the transport direction of the paper sheet P to the left so that the paper sheet P is transported along the transport path 27 and excluded. It accumulates in the ticket accumulating device 33. The paper sheets P accumulated in the rejection ticket accumulating device 33 can be supplied again.

The rejection ticket stacking device 33 also stacks the paper sheets P that have been rejected by the paper sheet discriminating device 50, and includes a stacking impeller 33 </ b> A and a stacking box 33 </ b> D and has been transported along the transport path 22. The sheet P is received by the accumulation impeller 33A and accumulated in the accumulation box 33D.

The paper sheet discrimination devices 52 </ b> A to 52 </ b> B have a paper sheet P ticket type discrimination or damage discrimination function. For the ticket type discrimination, when the paper sheet P is a Japanese banknote, a denomination consisting of 1,000 yen, 2,000 yen, 5,000 yen, and 10,000 yen and a conveyance state (upright / inverted, front / back) are discriminated. In addition, the discrimination of whether or not the paper is correct is made by determining whether the paper sheet P is a correct ticket or a damaged ticket.

The paper sheet discriminating device 53 has a function of detecting the shape of the paper sheet P, detects the length, width, hole, tear, etc. of the paper sheet P and notifies the control unit 2 of the detection result. When the length and width of the paper sheet P exceed the set value of the designated ticket type, it becomes an exclusion ticket. Further, if the hole, tear, cut, etc. of the paper sheet P exceed the set value, it becomes a non-use ticket.

The paper sheet discriminating devices 54A and 54B have a magnetic detection function for the paper sheet P, detect the magnetic material amount of the paper sheet P, and notify the control unit 2 of the detection result. When the amount of magnetic material of the paper sheet P exceeds a set value, or when a predetermined amount of magnetic material does not exist at a predetermined position of the paper sheet, it becomes a rejection ticket.

The paper sheet discriminating devices 54C and 54D have a fluorescence detection function for the paper sheet P, detect the amount of phosphor of the paper sheet P, and notify the control unit 2 of the detection result. When the phosphor of the paper sheet P exceeds a set value, or when a predetermined amount of the phosphor does not exist at a predetermined location of the paper sheet, it becomes an exclusion ticket.

The paper sheet discrimination device 55 has a function of detecting the thickness of the paper sheet P, detects the thickness of the paper sheet P, and notifies the control unit 2 of the detection result. If the thickness of the paper sheet P exceeds the set value, it becomes an exclusion ticket.

The paper sheet discriminating device 56 has a tape sticking detection function and detects a tape stuck to the paper sheet P. If the tape sticking size is within the set value, it becomes a non-paid ticket, and if it exceeds the set value, it becomes a rejected ticket.

As a result of the processing of the paper sheet discriminating devices 52A to 56, the correct ticket is supplied to the paper sheet stacking devices 30 and 31, the lost ticket is supplied to the paper sheet cutting device 60, and the rejected ticket is the rejected ticket stacking device 33. To be supplied.

Since the paper sheet stacking devices 30 and 31 are configured in the same manner, the paper sheet stacking device 30 will be described here, and the rejection ticket stacking device 33 will be described for parts different from the paper sheet stacking device 30. .

The paper sheet stacking apparatus 30 is provided with a stacking impeller 30A, a stacking box, and a stacking impeller detection sensor SC30.

In the integrated impeller 30A, a plurality of blades are incorporated around the rotation shaft, and are rotated in synchronization with the conveyance of the paper sheets so that the conveyed paper sheets can be received between the blades. .

In the stacker, the first 100 sheets P of paper sheets P that are determined to be genuine bills as a result of the processing of the paper sheet determination devices 52A to 56 are stacked. At this time, the sorting gate G30 is rotated to the right, and the paper sheet P is transported through the transport path 23 to the stacker (first stacking chamber) of the paper sheet stacking apparatus 30 including the stacking impeller 30A. Accumulated. With the passage of 100 sheets, the sorting gate G30 is rotated to the left side to prevent the sheets P from being continuously accumulated, and the sorting gate G31 is rotated to the right side to continuously convey the 101th and subsequent sheets. The genuine paper sheet P is conveyed to the paper sheet stacking device 31.

The 100 sheets of correct paper sheets P collected in the stack of the paper sheet stacking device 30 are stacked in a cassette (second stacking chamber) and then sealed with a paper strip (not shown). Similarly, when the number of genuine tickets accumulated in the stack of the paper sheet stacking device 31 reaches 100, the sorting gate G31 is rotated to the left side to prevent the sheets from being continuously stacked and sorted. The gate G30 is rotated to the right, and the next 100 sheets are stacked in the stacker of the sheet stacking device 30.

Further, the blades of the integrated impeller 30A are detected by the integrated impeller detection sensor SC30, and in accordance with the timing of the paper sheet P fed out from the conveyance path 23, the blades of the impeller 30A are roughly centered between the blades and the blades. The rotational position and speed of the integrated impeller 30A are set so as to capture the leaves P.

Further, the paper sheets sealed with paper strips every 100 sheets are conveyed to the left by the conveyor 70 and stored in the strap stacker 71.

As described above, the paper sheet stacking device 31 and the rejection ticket stacking device 33 are configured in the same manner as the paper sheet stacking device 30.

Next, the operation of the rejection ticket accumulating device 33 will be described with reference to FIG. The rejection ticket stacking apparatus 33 is provided with an A transport path 26 and a B transport path 27 for transporting the paper sheet P to the rejection ticket stacking apparatus 33. Further, an integrated impeller 33 </ b> A that takes in the paper sheet P fed out from the A transport path 26 and the B transport path 27 is pivotally supported. Furthermore, an integrated impeller detection sensor SC33 and an integrated guide 33C for detecting the integrated impeller 33A are provided.

The rejection ticket stacking device 33 is configured as described above, and is used for stacking the rejection tickets. In the first embodiment, the excluded ticket paper sheet P conveyed from the A conveying path 26 as the first conveying means and the excluded ticket paper sheet conveyed through the B conveying path 27 as the second conveying means. Class P is accumulated.

The A transport path (first transport means) 26 transports the paper sheet P by having a transport belt that is stretched on the transport roller 33E and a transport belt that is stretched on the transport roller 33F disposed downstream in the rotation direction of the transport roller 33E. Then, the paper sheet P is fed out from between the conveyance roller 33E and the conveyance roller 33F toward the accumulation impeller 33A.

The B transport path (second transport means) 27 transports the paper sheet P by having a transport belt that is stretched on the transport roller 33G and a transport belt that is stretched on the transport roller 33H disposed downstream in the rotation direction of the transport roller 33G. Then, the paper sheet P is fed out from between the conveyance roller 33G and the conveyance roller 33H toward the accumulation impeller 33A.

The integrated impeller 33A is detected by the integrated impeller detection sensor SC33, and at the approximate center of the blades and blades of the impeller 33A in accordance with the timing of the paper sheet P fed out from the A transport path 26 or the B transport path 27. The rotational position and speed of the integrated impeller 33A are set so as to take in the paper sheet P.

As a result, even if the take-in position for taking in the paper sheet P of the integrated impeller 33A is different, it can be handled as if it were taken from the same take-in position. Therefore, the effect of accumulation is the same.

The paper sheet P taken into the accumulation impeller 33A naturally falls in accordance with the rotation of the accumulation impeller 33A and is accumulated at the bottom of the accumulation chamber 33D. Further, the stacking box 33D is provided with a scraping plate 33B, and when the paper sheet P naturally falls, the paper sheet P that is caught by the stacking impeller 33A and does not fall is forcibly scraped to the stacking box 33D. Accumulate.

In the paper sheet stacking devices 30 and 31, the above-described shutter (not shown) is provided at the bottom of the stacker in order to stack the designated bill types. When a predetermined number of sheets are accumulated on the shutter, for example, when it is full (100 sheets), the full detection is detected by a full detection sensor (not shown). As a result of the full detection, the shutter is opened, and the accumulated paper sheets P are accumulated in a cassette (not shown). Further, the paper sheets P accumulated in the cassette are pressed into the cassette by a pushing plate (not shown).

On the other hand, the exclusion ticket stacking device 33 is not equipped with the shutter and cassette. In the rejection ticket stacking device 33, the sheets conveyed by the A conveying path 26 and the sheets conveyed by the B conveying path are accumulated.

The paper sheets conveyed by the A conveyance path 26 include paper sheets and counterfeits that have been determined to be different from the designated ticket type as a result of determination by the paper sheet determination unit 50. In addition, the paper sheets conveyed by the B conveyance path 27 include a plurality of sheets taken out and a conveyance pitch jammed paper sheet determined to be abnormal as a result of determination by the extraction detection unit 51.

In the second embodiment, the case where the A transport path 26 and the B transport path 27, which are the rejection ticket transport paths, are stacked by the same paper sheet stacking apparatus has been described. 26 may be the same as that of the second embodiment, and the B conveyance path 27 may be branched from between the paper sheet discriminating device 54D and the paper sheet discriminating device 55. The reason is that the ticket type discrimination and authenticity discrimination of the processing ticket type is performed based on the discrimination result up to the paper sheet discrimination device 54D, and at this time, the discrimination result of the paper sheet is a genuine note. Can be discriminated if is different from the designated ticket type. Therefore, it is not necessary to perform subsequent paper sheet discrimination, and it is possible to branch here and connect to the B conveyance path 27. However, in this case, an exclusion ticket stacking unit (stacking pocket that does not use the stacking impeller) that stacks the paper sheets that have been removed due to the take-out abnormality may be provided separately.

As is apparent from the above description, by adopting such a configuration, it is possible to take in paper sheets fed out from two types of conveyance paths and stack them with the same paper sheet stacking apparatus, thereby reducing the size of the apparatus. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a paper sheet stacking apparatus that is excellent in economic efficiency.

FIG. 3 is a front view showing a main part of the reject ticket stacking apparatus 33 according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The rejection ticket stacking apparatus 33 of the second embodiment is different in the arrangement position of the B conveyance path 27 of the rejection ticket stacking apparatus 33 of the first embodiment shown in FIG. That is, the paper sheet fed out from the B transport path 27 when the position of the B transport path 27 of the second embodiment is shifted in the rotational direction of the integrated impeller 33A with respect to the position of the B transport path 27 of the first embodiment. P is not taken into the accumulation impeller 33A, but is accumulated in the accumulation box 33D along the conveyance guide 33C.

In the case of the second embodiment, the paper sheet P transported by the A transport path (first transport path) 26 is designated as a result of discrimination by the paper sheet discriminating unit 50 by the paper sheets transported normally. It includes paper sheets and counterfeits that have been identified as different from the seed. Further, the paper sheet P conveyed by the B conveyance path (second conveyance path) 27 includes a plurality of sheets picked up and conveyance pitch jammed paper sheets determined to be abnormal as a result of determination by the extraction detection unit 51. It is.

The reason why the accumulation impeller 33A is not used for the accumulation of the paper sheets P conveyed by the B conveyance path 27 is that the paper sheets P are abnormally taken out, and the accumulation by the accumulation impeller 33A is difficult. This is because there are cases. In other words, the impeller stacking device using the stacking impeller is suitable for the case where paper sheets transported at high speed are transported continuously and at equal intervals. Abnormal paper sheets may jam in the middle of conveyance and are not suitable for impeller accumulation.

As described above, the paper sheets of the A conveyance path that are conveyed (normally) and rejected without being abnormally collected are accumulated by the collecting impeller, and the paper sheets of the B conveyance path that are conveyed abnormally are extracted. Can be stacked by the same paper sheet stacking device (here, the exclusion ticket stacking device).

As is apparent from the above description, by adopting such a configuration, the sheets fed out from the two types of conveyance paths, the A conveyance path and the B conveyance path, are taken in and collected by the same sheet accumulation apparatus. Therefore, the apparatus can be miniaturized and simplified, and a paper sheet stacking apparatus excellent in economic efficiency can be obtained.
