Abstract
Description
本発明は、不揮発性炭化水素のフラッシュドラム除去効率を増大させる蒸気分解法におけるミスト流の環状流への変換に関する。
スチーム分解は、様々な炭化水素原料油をオレフィンへ分解することに長らく用いられてきた。従来のスチーム分解は、2つの主要な区画、即ち対流区画及び放射区画を有する炉を用いる。炭化水素原料油は通常は炉の対流区画へ液体として入り(蒸気として入る軽供給原料は除く)、通常は、放射区画からの温排ガスとの間接接触により、或いはスチームとの直接接触により加熱されて気化される。気化された原料油は放射区画へ導入されて、ここで分解がなされる。結果的なオレフィンは、例えばクエンチングなどの更なる下流処理のために炉を離れる。
本発明は、重質炭化水素供給原料の調製のための処理を与え、これはスチーム分解炉の対流区画において炭化水素(選択的にスチームを含む)を予熱して、供給原料の一部を気化して、揮発炭化水素蒸気(選択的にはスチームを伴う)中に不揮発炭化水素を包含する液滴を含むミスト流を形成し、ミスト流は対流区画を離れる際には第1の流速及び第1の流れ方向を有し、このミスト流を調製して液滴を合体させ、この調整は、先ず流速を低減して次いで流れ方向を変えること、蒸気からの液滴の少なくとも一部をフラッシュドラムにおいて分離して蒸気相及び液相を形成すること、及び蒸気相を熱分解炉へ供給することを含む。
特に断らない限り、全てのパーセンテージ、割合、比等は重量部で表す。
流れ形態は、液体流れの可視的又は定量的特性である。設定速度もなければ、設定液滴サイズもない。ミスト流は、液体の小滴が管を通じて蒸気相流へ分散する2相流を意味する。透明管においては、ミスト流は動きが速い小さな雨滴のように見える。
炭化水素は蒸気(一般に揮発性)及び液体(一般に不揮発性)炭化水素の合計である。不揮発性は以下のように測定される。炭化水素原料の沸点は、ASTM D−6352−98によるガスクロマトグラフ抽出(Gas Chromatograph Distillation:GCD) により測定される。不揮発は、ASTM D−6352−98により測定した1100°F(590℃)を越える公称沸点を有する炭化水素の留分である。1400°F(760℃)を越える公称沸点を有する不揮発性で非常によく働く。
フラッシュドラム分離の蒸気/液体分離効率は液滴サイズに大きく依存する。ストークスの法則は、液滴又は粒子の最終速度はその径の二乗に比例することを教えている。従って極めて微細なミストがフラッシュドラムへ入れば、上向きガス速度の速度は液滴の最終速度よりも大きく、随伴し易い。液滴の環状流への拡張的な合体は、フラッシュドラム内で容易に分離される非常に大きな液滴を与える。
液滴合体の観察
実験1
説明:空気に水6GPMを添加して110フィート/秒(33m/秒)バルク速度の2相流を生成。
観察:2インチ(5cm)内径管内に微細な液滴ミスト流
実験2
説明:遠心力を生じるように90°ベンドを加える。

実験6

Claims (26)
- 重質炭化水素供給原料の調製のための処理であって、
スチーム分解炉の対流区画において、選択的にスチームを含む炭化水素を予熱して、供給原料の一部を気化して、選択的にスチームを伴う揮発炭化水素蒸気中に不揮発炭化水素を包含する液滴を含むミスト流を形成し、このミスト流は対流区画を離れる際には第1の流速及び第1の流れ方向を有し、このミスト流を調製して液滴を合体させ、この調整は、先ず流速を低減して次いで流れ方向を変えること、蒸気からの液滴の少なくとも一部をフラッシュドラムにおいて分離して蒸気相及び液相を形成すること、及び蒸気相を熱分解炉へ供給することを含む処理。 - 請求項1の処理であって、蒸気相を前記スチーム分解炉の下部対流区画及び放射区画へ供給することを更に含む処理。
- 請求項1又は2の処理であって、前記重炭化水素供給原料は、スチーム分解ガスオイル及び残留物、加熱オイル、ジェット燃料、ディーゼル、灯油、ガソリン、コーカーナフサ、スチーム分解ナフサ、触媒分解ナフサ、水素化分解、改質油、ラフィネート改質油、フィッシャー・トロップシュ液体、フィッシャー・トロップシュガス、天然ガソリン、留出物、処女ナフサ、原油、大気パイプスチールボトム、ボトムを含む真空パイプスチールストリーム、広範な沸点範囲のナフサ対ガスオイル凝縮体、精製所からの重非処女炭化水素ストリーム、真空ガスオイル、重ガスオイル、原油で汚染されたナフサ、大気残油、重残油、C4/残留物混合体、ナフサ残留物物混合体の少なくとも1つを含む処理。
- 請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の処理であって、前記重炭化水素供給原料は、低硫黄蝋質残油を含む処理。
- 請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の処理であって、前記重炭化水素供給原料の60乃至80%は590℃(1100°F)より低い沸点を有する処理。

- 請求項19乃至21の何れか一項に記載の処理であって、少なくとも1つのベンドが180度である処理。
- 炭化水素供給原料を調整する処理であって、熱分解炉の対流区画において選択的にスチームを含む炭化水素供給原料を予熱して、供給原料の一部を気化して、選択的にスチームを伴う揮発炭化水素蒸気中に不揮発炭化水素を包含する液滴を含むミストストリームを形成し、このミストストリームは対流区画を離れる際には第1の流速及び第1の流れ方向を有し、このミストストリームを調製して液滴を合体させ、蒸気からの液滴の少なくとも一部をフラッシュドラムにおいて分離して蒸気相及び液相を形成し、蒸気相をスチーム分解炉へ供給し、フラッシュは、合体した液滴を包含するミストストリームをフラッシュドラムへ導入すること、少なくとも1つの上部フラッシュドラム出口から蒸気相を除去すること、及び少なくとも1つの下部フラッシュドラム出口からの液相の除去を含む処理。
- 請求項23の処理であって、前記ミストストリームが少なくとも1つの接線ドラム入口を通じてフラッシュドラムへ接するように導入される処理。
- 請求項23又は24の処理であって、前記液相が少なくとも1つの下部側面フラッシュドラム出口及び少なくとも1つのフラッシュドラム底部出口から除去される処理。
- 請求項23乃至25の何れか一項に記載の処理であって、前記フラッシュドラムがその内側に設置された環状バッフルを有して、蒸気相に随伴するものから前記フラッシュドラム内を下方へ流れる液相の部分を効果的に低減する処理。
