Claims (4)
- エンジン(2)内のバルブ(1)のステム(3)と、電磁アクチュエータ(7)の移動部材(8)との間のクリアランスを決定する方法であって、
前記電磁アクチュエータ(7)は、
前記移動部材を、バルブの限界開放位置と、限界閉止位置との間を移動させる電磁変位手段(14、15)であって、基準電気特性に基づき、サーボ制御手段によって制御される電磁変位手段を具備し、
前記方法は、
前記電磁変位手段が、前記移動部材が前記限界開放位置と前記限界閉止位置との間を移動する際の実質的に定速である変位速度を求めることを制御し、
前記移動部材の中間位置のための、基準電気特性の値を取得し、
前記基準電気特性が急激に変化する中間位置を検出する
各ステップを含む
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記検出ステップは、前記移動部材(8)の位置に対する前記基準電気特性の導関数を計算する段階を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記基準電気特性は、電流である
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 前記移動部材の前記変位速度は、最大クリアランスに対応するその変位率の全体にわたり、実質的に定速に維持される
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の方法。
