Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a camera shake correction mechanism provided in a photographing apparatus such as a camera, and more particularly to a camera shake detection process.
A camera with a camera shake correction function is provided with a camera shake detector such as a gyro sensor. When the camera body yaws or pitches due to camera shake during camera operation, the gyro sensor detects an angular velocity caused by a change in the posture of the camera. Then, in order to prevent image blurring, the optical system or the image sensor shifts so as to cancel the movement of the camera due to camera shake. When a gyro sensor is used, an output voltage from the gyro sensor is input to a high-pass filter in order to cut a DC component due to drift (see, for example,
When the composition is confirmed and changed after pressing the release button halfway, or when it takes time to adjust the focus when the release button is pressed halfway, the release button is pressed halfway down, that is, the shooting operation is executed immediately. May not be transferred to. Since the gyro sensor is activated while the release button is not fully pressed, the power consumption of the battery is wasted.
A photographing apparatus according to the present invention includes a photographing optical system, a recording means for recording a subject image formed by the photographing optical system, a digital camera having a camera shake correction function, a movie camera, or a portable terminal / mobile phone having a photographing function. It is provided in a photographing device such as a telephone. The camera shake detection device includes an angular velocity sensor that outputs an angular velocity signal corresponding to an angular velocity caused by camera shake, a detection unit that detects camera shake based on a voltage value and a reference voltage value of the angular velocity signal, a control unit, and a displacement amount due to camera shake. And a camera shake correction unit that adjusts an imaging area formed by the photographing optical system so as not to cause image blur. The angular velocity sensor outputs a voltage signal, for example, and when a high-pass filter that removes a DC component is provided, for example, from the angular velocity signal from the angular velocity sensor, the voltage signal from which the DC component has been removed is detected from the high-pass filter. The angular velocity sensor is, for example, a gyro sensor, and it is preferable to apply a vibration gyro sensor using a crystal of quartz in order to detect camera shake with high accuracy. When the angular velocity is detected, the fluctuation angular velocity due to the posture change of the camera is detected as camera shake based on the voltage value of the angular velocity signal and the reference voltage. The reference voltage is a value serving as a reference for the voltage value of the angular velocity signal, and is output from the angular velocity sensor in the gyro sensor. For example, an amplifier may be connected after the high pass filter, for example. The camera shake correction unit may adjust the position of the imaging area corresponding to the image circle in accordance with the camera shake, and may be configured to shift the optical system or the image sensor in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis. The control system using the camera shake correction mechanism may determine the response characteristics so that the position of the image sensor automatically returns to the center position when the camera shake amount value “0” continues.
The angular velocity sensor of the present invention is a sensor that can be switched from an operation state to an operation stop state. When the angular velocity sensor enters an operation stop state, the voltage value of the angular velocity signal becomes the same as the reference voltage value. Here, the operation stop state indicates a state where the function of measuring the angular velocity cannot be exhibited, and electric power necessary for realizing the function again is supplied to the angular velocity sensor. As the angular velocity sensor having the above characteristics, for example, an angular velocity sensor capable of executing the sleep mode may be applied. When the sleep mode is set, power supply to some modules of the angular velocity sensor such as the sensor element and the amplifier is cut off, and an angular velocity signal based on the reference voltage is output.
For such an angular velocity sensor, the control means selectively outputs an operation signal for operating the angular velocity sensor and an operation stop signal for causing the operation to be stopped. Then, the control means stops the angular velocity sensor before the operation for performing the photographing operation, and operates the angular velocity sensor when the operation for performing the photographing operation is performed. Here, the operation for executing the photographing operation is an operation for executing the recording operation of the subject image. For example, in the case of a camera, the operation of fully pressing the release button is applicable.
While the power is supplied to the camera shake detection device, a signal is always output from the angular velocity sensor. However, when the angular velocity sensor is stopped, an angular velocity signal whose voltage value matches the reference voltage is output from the angular velocity sensor. . In the case of the angular velocity sensor capable of setting the sleep mode, the signal output based on the reference voltage value is maintained by cutting off the power supply to some modules of the angular velocity sensor such as the sensor element and the amplifier. The angular velocity signal is constant until the release button or the like is operated to perform the photographing operation, and the angular velocity sensor supplies only the minimum necessary elements, and the power consumption until the photographing operation is performed is suppressed. In addition, when the angular velocity sensor is switched to the operating state by executing a shooting operation, the output signal from the angular velocity sensor or the high-pass filter is stabilized. Correction can be performed.
For example, it is preferable to provide an operation member for setting a photographing correction mode for maintaining the angular velocity sensor in the operation stop state until the photographing operation is performed. The photographing apparatus includes photographing correction mode setting means for setting a photographing correction mode in accordance with an operation on the operation member.
The camera shake detection device of the present invention outputs an angular velocity signal corresponding to an angular velocity caused by camera shake, can be switched to an operation stop state, a high-pass filter that removes a DC component from the angular velocity signal from the angular velocity sensor, and an angular velocity. An angular velocity signal, comprising: detection means for detecting camera shake based on the voltage value of the signal and a reference voltage value; and control means for selectively outputting an operation signal for operating the angular velocity sensor and an operation stop signal for causing the operation stop state. Is the same as the reference voltage value in the operation state of the angular velocity sensor, and the control means stops the operation of the angular velocity sensor before performing the photographing operation and the photographing operation is performed. In this case, the angular velocity sensor is operated.
The camera shake detection method of the present invention detects the camera shake based on the voltage value of the angular velocity signal corresponding to the angular velocity caused by the camera shake and the reference voltage value output from the angular velocity sensor that can be switched to the operation stop state, and operates the angular velocity sensor. The operation signal to be operated and the operation stop signal to be in the operation stop state are selectively output, and the voltage value of the angular velocity signal becomes the same as the reference voltage value in the operation stop state of the angular velocity sensor, and the photographing operation is executed. Before the operation, the angular velocity sensor is stopped, and when an operation for performing a photographing operation is performed, the angular velocity sensor is operated.
The program of the present invention includes a detecting means for detecting camera shake based on a voltage value and a reference voltage value of an angular velocity signal corresponding to an angular velocity caused by camera shake output from an angular velocity sensor that can be switched to an operation stop state, and an angular velocity sensor. A program for causing an operation signal to be operated and a control means for selectively outputting an operation stop signal to be in an operation stop state, wherein the voltage value of the angular velocity signal is the same as the reference voltage value in the operation stop state of the angular velocity sensor Thus, the control unit is caused to function so as to operate the angular velocity sensor when the operation of executing the photographing operation is performed in a state where the angular velocity sensor is stopped before the photographing operation is performed.
According to the present invention, it is possible to accurately perform camera shake correction during a shooting operation while suppressing power consumption.

The moving

In step S201, the angular velocity with respect to the pitching of the
In step S203, it is determined whether or not the camera shake correction variable IS = 1, that is, whether or not the camera shake correction mode is set. If it is determined that the camera shake correction variable IS = 0, that is, the camera shake correction mode is not set, the process proceeds to step S205, and the position of the
In step S206, the operation amount of the moving
Although FIG. 8 shows a camera shake correction processing routine for yawing, the same camera shake correction processing is executed for pitching.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the
