Abstract
【解決手段】 カーボンに担持された触媒の一方に燃料極3、他方に空気極5を配置し、触媒の作用で燃料極と空気極との間に直流電流を発生させる燃料電池であって、前記カーボンに、幹状カーボンナノチューブ内の空間部に金属が充填され、かつ、該幹状カーボンナノチューブから多数の枝状カーボンナノチューブが高配向に分岐して全体がツリー構造をなすカーボン金属ナノツリーを用いた構成。

Claims (1)
- カーボン材料に担持された触媒の一方に燃料極、他方に空気極を配置し、触媒の作用で燃料極と空気極との間に直流電流を発生させる燃料電池において、
前記カーボン材料に、幹状に延びるカーボンナノチューブから多数のカーボンナノチューブが高配向に枝状に分岐し、かつ、前記カーボンナノチューブの内外表面のいずれかに金属が存在して全体がツリー構造をなすカーボン金属ナノツリーを用いた、ことを特徴とする燃料電池。
