Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an automotive glass run that is attached to the inner periphery of a door frame of an automobile door and guides the raising and lowering of the door glass. In particular, the channel for attaching the glass run to the inner periphery of the door frame includes a glass run. This invention relates to a glass run in which the vehicle outer side wall of the glass run is directly exposed to the vehicle outer side without providing a portion for holding the vehicle outer side wall.
As shown in FIG. 3, a
Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 3, the
As shown in FIG. 4, the seal between the
The
The vehicle
The
When the
However, as shown in FIG. 5, in order to improve the appearance of the automobile and to restrict the structure of the
Furthermore, in order to improve the appearance, attempts have been made to reduce the width of the
In this case, the glass run 110
On the other hand, if the rigidity of the vehicle
For this reason, in order to increase the rigidity of the
Further, if the overall rigidity of the
For this reason, it was necessary to obtain a glass run that can be easily mounted on the door frame and can reliably seal the tip of the door glass.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention of
The portion of the door frame to which the glass run is mounted is formed in a substantially L-shaped cross section, and the main body portion of the glass run has a substantially U-shaped cross section including an outer side wall, an inner side wall, and a bottom wall. At least a continuous portion with the vehicle inner side wall is formed in a substantially L-shaped cross section, the vehicle inner side wall is made of a soft material, and the vehicle outer side wall and the bottom wall are made of a hard material whose hardness is higher than the soft material of the vehicle inner side wall. Formed,
An outer glass seal lip and an inner glass seal lip extending from the front end of the vehicle outer side wall and the vehicle inner side wall toward the inside of the main body having a substantially U-shaped cross section are formed of a soft material, respectively. When the door frame is mounted on the door frame, the front end of the vehicle outer side glass seal lip and the vehicle inner side glass seal lip are formed so as to contact each other, and the main body portion having the substantially U-shaped cross section before mounting is developed. Sometimes the tip of the outside glass seal lip and the inside glass seal lip are formed to be spaced apart from each other,
An automotive glass run characterized in that a vehicle inner side wall is held by a channel attached to the door frame, and a groove portion is provided on the vehicle inner side wall to facilitate the development of the glass run main body.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the portion of the door frame to which the glass run is mounted is formed in a substantially L-shaped cross section, the cross-sectional shape is simplified compared to the case where it is formed in a substantially U-shaped cross section. Is easy to mold.
The main body portion of the glass run has a substantially U-shaped cross section including a vehicle outer side wall, a vehicle inner side wall, and a bottom wall. A continuous portion of the bottom wall with at least the vehicle interior side wall is formed in a substantially L-shaped cross section. Therefore, when the door glass is raised, the tip of the door glass can be stored inside the main body portion of the glass run having a substantially U-shaped cross section including the outer side wall, the inner side wall, and the bottom wall. Can be securely held.
The vehicle inner side wall is made of a soft material, and the vehicle outer side wall and the bottom wall are made of a hard material whose hardness is higher than the soft material of the vehicle inner side wall, so that the rigidity of the bottom wall and the vehicle outer side wall can be increased. It can prevent that the front-end | tip of a door glass remove | deviates from the inside of the main-body part of a glass run by the vibration of a motor vehicle, etc.
Since the inner side wall of the vehicle is made of a soft material, the glass run can be easily installed in the channel attached to the door frame.
Since the vehicle-side glass seal lip and the vehicle-side glass seal lip extending from the front end of the vehicle-exterior side wall and the vehicle-side side wall toward the inside of the main body having a substantially U-shaped cross section are formed of soft materials, respectively, The seal lip and the vehicle interior glass seal lip can flexibly abut against the door glass, the door glass can be raised smoothly, and the seal between the door glass and the glass run can be reliably performed.
When the glass run is attached to the door frame, the tip of the outside glass seal lip and the inside glass seal lip are formed so as to contact each other, so that the tip of the door glass is inside the main body of the glass run. When inserted, the front end of the outside glass seal lip and the inside glass seal lip can reliably contact the front end side of the door glass from both sides, so that there is no gap between the door glass and the glass run. .
When the main body portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section in the glass run before the glass run is attached to the door frame, the front end of the vehicle side glass seal lip and the tip of the vehicle side glass seal lip are formed so as to be separated from each other. Therefore, the tip of the vehicle outer side glass seal lip and the vehicle inner side glass seal lip are not directly bonded at the time of manufacture, and extrusion molding and vulcanization are easy. In addition, since the main body of the glass run is unfolded, a low-sliding member should be applied to the surface of the vehicle outer glass seal lip and the vehicle inner glass seal lip and the surface of the bottom wall lip at the upper side of the glass run. Is also easy.
Since the vehicle inner side wall is held by the channel, the door frame is formed in a substantially L-shaped cross section, and the glass run can be reliably held without the side wall outside the vehicle.
A groove for facilitating the deployment of the glass run is provided in the inner surface of the inner side wall of the vehicle between the both ends of the channel holding the glass run, so that the flexibility of the inner side wall of the vehicle is increased and the glass run is channeled. When the vehicle is attached to the vehicle, the vehicle interior side wall can be bent in the direction of closing the groove, and the attachment is easy.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the groove portion is an automotive glass run in which both side walls of the groove portion are in contact with each other and closed when the glass run is attached to the channel.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the glass run is attached to the channel, the both side walls of the groove contact and close, so that when the vehicle inner side wall is attached to the channel, the vehicle inner side wall is It is attached firmly so as to push in and push both sides of the side end of the channel, and the glass run does not come off the channel by raising and lowering the door glass.
The present invention of
In the present invention of
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the soft material has a hardness of IRHD 70 ° to 80 ° and the hard material has a hardness of IRHD 85 ° to 95 °.
In the present invention of claim 4, since the soft material of the glass run has a hardness of IRHD 70 ° to 80 ° and the hard material has a hardness of IRHD 85 ° to 95 °, the vehicle outer side wall and the bottom wall formed of the hard material. Has sufficient rigidity to hold the tip of the door glass. The vehicle interior side wall made of soft material can have the strength to hold the glass run in the channel, and has enough flexibility even when it comes into contact with the door glass, so that it can be sealed securely Can do.
The present invention of
In the present invention of
The present invention of claim 6 is an automotive glass run in which the soft material is an EPDM rubber or an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer and the hard material is an EPDM rubber, an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer or an olefinic resin.
In the present invention of claim 6, the soft material is EPDM rubber or olefinic thermoplastic elastomer, and the hard material is EPDM rubber, olefinic thermoplastic elastomer or olefinic resin. For this reason, both the soft material and the hard material are the same type of material, and they can be firmly adhered to each other and pulverized together for recycling. Both the soft material and the hard material are weather resistant. Excellent in properties.
The present invention of claim 7 is a glass run for automobiles in which low sliding members are formed on the surfaces of the vehicle outer side glass seal lip and the vehicle inner side glass seal lip.
In the present invention of claim 7, since the low sliding member is formed on the surfaces of the vehicle outer side glass seal lip and the vehicle inner side glass seal lip, when the door glass is raised, the vehicle outer side glass seal lip and the vehicle inner side glass are formed. No sliding noise is generated by sliding on the seal lip and smooth.
When the glass run is mounted on the door frame, the tip of the vehicle exterior glass seal lip and the vehicle interior glass seal lip are formed so as to contact each other, and the main body portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section before mounting on the door frame is developed. In this case, since the tip of the outside glass seal lip and the inside glass seal lip are formed so as to be separated from each other, the sealing performance is good and the glass run can be easily manufactured.
Since the vehicle inner side wall is held by the channel attached to the door frame, the glass run can be held securely. The inner wall of the vehicle inner side wall is provided with a groove that facilitates the deployment of the glass run body, which increases the flexibility of the vehicle inner side wall and closes the groove when the glass run is attached to the channel. The inner side wall can be bent and is easy to mount.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 3 is a side view of the
As shown in FIG. 3, a

The
The vehicle
In addition, the back surface of the vehicle

In the molding of the

In the case of synthetic rubber, the mold is heated and vulcanized after being poured into the mold. At this time, since the extrusion molding part and the molding part can be vulcanized and bonded using the same material or the same kind of material, they are integrally fixed. When the extruded part is formed of synthetic rubber, the mold part can be formed of a thermoplastic elastomer.
