Description

The present invention relates to a wire protection material mounting jig, a method of mounting a wire protection material, and a method of manufacturing a wire with a protection material, and in particular, a wire protection material such as a corrugated tube on the outer periphery of a wire bundle such as a wire harness for automobile wiring. The present invention relates to a wire protection material mounting jig, a method of mounting a wire protection material, and a method of manufacturing a wire with a protection material, which is used when the cover is mounted.

In general, an electric wire protective material such as a corrugated tube is an exterior part that covers the outer periphery of an electric wire bundle by forming a slit in the central axis direction in a resin tube material and expanding the slit. Conventionally, various mounting jigs have been proposed for mounting such an electric wire protective material.

For example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-106367, a substantially U-shaped bottom portion that receives a bundle of wires to be attached with a wire protective material formed with slits that can be expanded in the axial direction, None, a pair of side walls that divide the upper side along a line that obliquely intersects the bundle of wires guided to the bottom part in parallel with each other, and the upper side of each of the side wall parts, respectively, In the wire protection material mounting jig for expanding the slit and covering the wire bundle with the wire protection material by feeding the wire protection material to the wire bundle while guiding the wire protection material with the flange. There has been proposed an electric wire protective material mounting jig provided with an auxiliary guide that extends to the bottom and receives the slit tip of the electric wire protective material fed from the flange toward the electric wire bundle. The entire wire protection material mounting jig is made of a resin plate (hereinafter, this technique is referred to as a conventional example).

FIG.

An electric wire protection material mounting jig 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention uses an electric wire protection material 2 (see FIGS. 5 and 6) such as a corrugated tube in which a slit S is formed in the axial direction, and an electric wire such as a wire harness. It is used for covering the outer periphery of the bundled electric wire bundle W and is preferably made of a material having excellent wear resistance, for example, a metal.

As shown in FIGS. 1A, 1B, and 2, the wire protection material mounting jig 1 includes a first support member 4 and a second support that are attached to be able to be opened and closed with a support shaft 3 as a fulcrum. The member 5 is provided on each of the first support member 4 and the second support member 5, and the slit S of the wire protection material 2 is held in an expanded state so that the wire protection material 2 faces the wire bundle W. It has the 1st guide member 6 and the 2nd guide member 7 to send out.

The first support member 4 and the second support member 5 are attached to a support shaft 3 provided at the joint portion 3a like a pliers (pliers), and are viewed from the side in front of the support shaft 3. The first connecting portion 8 and the second connecting portion 9 having a substantially L-shaped cross section are provided, and the first guide member 6 and the second connecting portion 9 are provided at the distal ends of the first connecting portion 8 and the second connecting portion 9, respectively. Two guide members 7 are provided.

The first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 are formed in an elongated bar shape as a whole. Moreover, since the front-end | tip part of the 1st guide member 6 and the 2nd guide member 7 is slightly curved outside and is formed in the taper, the slit S of the sent out wire protection material 2 was expanded. The wire bundle W can be smoothly covered in the state.

The first support member 4 and the second support member 5 are connected to the first handle portion 10 and the second connection portion 9 connected to the first connection portion 8 on the rear side of the support shaft 3. A second handle portion 11 is provided.

By opening and closing the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11, the first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 provided in the first connecting portion 8 and the second connecting portion 9 are moved. Closed. Thereby, since the space | interval of the 1st guide member 6 and the 2nd guide part member 7 can be adjusted, it can respond to the wire protective material 2 of an internal diameter of a different size.

Further, when the wire protector 2 having the same inner diameter of the same size is continuously attached, the lock member 12 is used in order to fix the interval between the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 to reduce blurring. Is used.

FIGS. 3A and 3B are explanatory diagrams for explaining the configuration and operation of the lock member 12. As shown in FIG. 3A, the lock member 12 includes a locking substrate 12 a pivotally attached to a pin 10 a provided on the first handle portion 10. A plurality of locking grooves 12b that are locked to the protrusions 11a provided on the second handle portion 11 are formed on the rear end surface of the locking substrate 12a along the end surface.

As shown by the dotted line in FIG. 3A, after the locking substrate 12a is rotated counterclockwise about the pin 10a as a fulcrum, the distance between the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 is adjusted. Then, the locking substrate 12a is rotated again in the clockwise direction, and the protruding portion 11a provided on the second handle portion 11 is locked in the locking groove 12b of the locking substrate 12a. The distance between the handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 can be fixed at a predetermined position (see FIG. 3B).

Next, a method for mounting the wire protection material 2 to the wire bundle W using the wire protection material mounting jig 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described. 4 (A) to 4 (D) are explanatory views for schematically explaining a mounting method of the wire protection material 2 according to the embodiment of the present invention.

First, the wire protection material mounting jig 1 is positioned so that the wire bundle W passes between the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 (see FIG. 4A).

Next, the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 are opened and closed according to the size of the inner diameter of the wire protector 2 to be mounted, and the first connecting portion 8 and the second connecting portion 8 with the support shaft 3 as a fulcrum. The first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 are adjusted to a predetermined interval by rotating the connecting portion 9. At that time, in the case of the wire protector 2a having a small inner diameter, the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 are opened to the outside so that the first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 Reduce the spacing or abut. Thereby, it becomes possible to send out the wire protector 2a having a small inner diameter to the wire bundle W side (see FIG. 5).

In the case of the wire protector 2b having a large inner diameter, the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 are closed inward, and the distance between the first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 is reached. To spread. Thereby, it becomes possible to send out the wire protecting material 2b having a large inner diameter to the wire bundle W side (see FIG. 6).

Further, when the wire protector 2 having the same size inner diameter is continuously mounted, the interval between the first handle portion 10 and the second handle portion 11 is fixed by the lock member 12 (FIG. 3A). And (B)).

Next, both ends of the slit S of the wire protection member 2 are applied to the first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7, the slit S is held in an expanded state, and the wire protection member 2 is attached to the wire bundle W. It sends out (refer FIG.4 (C)).

Thereafter, the fed wire protective material 2 is put on the outer periphery of the wire bundle W. The wire protector 2 covering the wire bundle W is attached to the outer periphery of the wire bundle W with the slit S closed by its own elasticity (see FIG. 4D).

According to the embodiment of the present invention, the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 are rotated with the support shaft 3 as a fulcrum according to the size of the inner diameter of the wire protection material 2 to be mounted, Since the first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 can be moved and adjusted to a predetermined distance, it is possible to mount the wire protector 2 having different inner diameters with a single mounting jig. Is excellent.

Further, since each component can be made of a metal having excellent wear resistance, damage due to use can be reduced, and there is almost no need for replacement. As a result, workability can be improved and running cost can be reduced.

FIG. 7A is a cross-sectional view taken along the line VII-VII in FIG. 1B showing a side surface of the guide member, and FIGS. 7B to 7D are cross-sectional views showing modifications thereof.

As shown in FIG. 7A, the side surface of the first guide member 6 (second guide member 7) is formed flat, but in order to reliably guide the wire protector 2 (guide). For example, as shown in FIG. 7B, a flange 6a may be provided on the upper portion of the side surface. Further, as shown in FIG. 7C, the side surface may be inclined toward the inner side, or as shown in FIG. 7D, the side surface may be curved.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the technical matters described in the claims.

For example, the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 and the first guide member 6 and the second guide member 7 may be integrally formed, and both separate members may be welded or You may join by brazing etc. Moreover, you may join the 1st guide member 6 and the 2nd guide member 7 to tools, such as the existing pliers.

In this embodiment, the wire bundle W is attached, but it can also be used when attached to one wire.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment example, the cross-sectional shape is applied to the electric wire protection material 2 having a circular shape, but is not limited to this, for example, other cross-sectional shapes such as a rectangular shape, an elliptical shape, a polygonal shape, etc. It can also be applied to wire protection materials.

The present invention is used for, for example, an operation of covering and attaching an electric wire protection member 2 such as a corrugated tube around an outer periphery of an electric wire bundle W such as an automobile wire harness.
