Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a make-up removal cosmetic composition having improved efficacy.
An important segment of the cosmetics market is the products used for make-up removal. Removal of eyeshadow, blusher, lipstick and funny pigments is a daily problem for many women. This problem has been addressed by formulations that can include materials that function by solvent action or by emulsification.
Cold cream is particularly outstanding in this utility. Exemplary embodiments of this technique are both reported in US Pat. No. 5,160,739 and US Pat. No. 5,798,111 to Kanga et al. The problem with traditional cold cream is that it is relatively oily and highly viscous.
Another approach is a product reinforced with a large amount of foaming surfactant. In particular, they contain a significant amount of anionic surfactant. Some products are provided in the form of aerosols. An example of this technique is Japanese Patent Application No. 2002-157119 (Kashimura et al.). It discloses a combination of a talc-supported phosphate ester surfactant and an alkyl polyglycoside surfactant in the form of a propellant-driven aerosol. Systems containing large amounts of anionic surfactant are very effective for cleaning, but they lack mildness to the skin.
Thus, the problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a makeup removal product that is not only mild to the skin, but also has improved cleaning efficacy.
(i)0.5〜40%のポリオール;

Example 9
In a series of PEG-20 glyceryl isostearates, tests were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of make-up removal. The test procedure used the following procedure. Bio Skin Plate (eg, BEAULAX, Co., Tokyo, Japan) samples were cut to 3 × 4 cm. The base color of each section was measured twice with a Minolta spectrophotometer CM-2002. A lipstick in an amount of 0.0080 g was applied as a 3 cm diameter circle to each section of the Bio Skin Plate sample. After 5 minutes, the color of the lipstick was measured with a spectrophotometer and then washed with water. Next, 0.2 ml of the test sample solution was applied to the lipstick circle. Then, using a finger, the sample section was rubbed 10 times counterclockwise and then rubbed 10 times counterclockwise. Rinse for about 30 seconds using tap water at about 37 ° C. After 5 rinses, the lipstick stain color was then re-measured. The measurement was then converted to a percentage of color change. An average of 3 replicate sample pieces was utilized. The test formulations and results are shown in the table below.
Based on the results reported in the table, it is clear that the PEG glyceryl material is most effective against triisostearate esters.
