Description

The present invention relates to a banknote depositing / dispensing machine (for example, an automatic cash transaction apparatus used in a financial institution or the like) in which a general user deposits / withdraws cash directly using a card, a passbook, or the like.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a banknote deposit / withdrawal machine mounted on an automatic teller machine used in a financial institution, for example, is used for depositing / withdrawing a banknote that a user inserts a banknote, pays out the inserted banknote, and stores a banknote to be released to the user. A bill discriminating unit for discriminating a bill, a bill transport path for passing the bill through the bill discriminating unit, a temporary storage for temporarily storing the deposited bill, and a safe for storing the deposited bill And a withdrawal vault for delivering banknotes for withdrawal, a recycle box for storing and delivering banknotes for both deposit and withdrawal, and a banknote for deposits that are not stored in the deposit safe and the recycle bin and banknotes that are not dispensed from the vault The unit is configured by combining each unit such as a reject storehouse for storing the bills and a banknote to be replenished to the recycle storehouse, and a loading / collecting storehouse for storing banknotes collected from the recycle storehouse.

The deposit / withdrawal port applied to the banknote depositing / dispensing machine as described above has a storage space for storing banknotes and an open / close door (shutter) for partitioning the storage space from the outside. And as a structure of the storage space in a deposit / withdrawal port, it can be divided into the type which inserts a banknote from the upper direction in the type inserted in the depth direction in a horizontal direction, and a standing position. The horizontal insertion type has few restrictions on the height position of the deposit / withdrawal port, but when there are many bills to be inserted, both sides of the bills hang down, so the operability is poor, so it is not suitable for automatic cash transaction equipment. There are many types that are inserted from above in a standing state.

Further, as described in Patent Document 1, the deposit / withdrawal port in which banknotes are stored in a standing position has a form in which the shutter is inclined so that it is substantially horizontal or the front side is lowered, and slides in the horizontal direction. Released.

However, with a deposit / withdrawal port with a shutter that is substantially horizontal or slightly inclined in this way, it becomes difficult to insert banknotes and it becomes difficult to see banknotes when the mounting position is high, so the number of storage shelves such as safe deposit boxes and recycle bins is small. It was restricted.

In the automatic teller machine, the depositing / withdrawing processing unit stores banknotes in a standing position, so the shutter of the depositing / dispensing port is configured to be almost horizontal or slightly inclined, and the shutter slides to the back side. And released. However, if the shutter is slid and opened, a large amount of rain may enter the inlet. Also, it is easy to line up and set, and it is necessary to install the deposit / withdrawal port at a height of about 1 meter from the ground in order to make it easy to see the banknotes withdrawn / withdrawn. The number of storage shelves was limited.

An object of the present invention is to provide a system that is excellent in insertion of a large number of sheets, is easy to see, and has little rain entry in an outdoor environment.

In order to solve the above-described problems, in the present invention, an opening / closing door (shutter) that opens the front and upper side of the banknote in the deposit / withdrawal slot so that the banknote in the deposit / withdrawal slot does not become difficult to see even if the mounting position of the deposit / withdrawal slot becomes high. ).

According to the present invention, it is possible to realize a banknote depositing / dispensing machine that reduces height restrictions and has little rain in an outdoor environment at a depositing / dispensing port that is inserted in a standing position excellent for inserting a large number of sheets. .

With the banknote depositing / withdrawing apparatus 1 having the above-described configuration, a depositing / withdrawing operation by a user and a loading / collecting operation by an attendant are performed. Each operation, process, and the like are controlled by a control unit 35 including a CPU and a memory.
During the depositing operation, the bills inserted into the deposit / withdrawal port 20 are separated one by one and the bill discriminating unit 30 determines the denomination and authenticity of the bills. The banknotes determined by the banknote determination unit 30 are temporarily stored in the temporary storage 40 by switching the switching gate 503. A banknote that cannot be determined by the determination of the banknote determination unit 30, a banknote that is tilted, or an abnormal interval between banknotes (for example, overlapping banknotes) is determined as a banknote to be rejected (hereinafter, reject banknote). Is done. The rejected banknote is not taken into the temporary storage 40 but is switched to the deposit / withdrawal port 20 by switching the switching gate 503 and stored. The reject banknote returned to the deposit / withdrawal port is returned to the user.
When the transaction is confirmed, the banknotes stored in the temporary storage 40 are sent out in the reverse order to the storage order and in the reverse direction to the temporary storage, and pass through the banknote determination unit 30. And the banknote which currency | cured this discrimination | determination part 30 switches designation | designated by switching the switching gate 502 to the 502a direction, and switching the switching gate 903 in any one of the safe 60, the recycle store | warehouse | chamber 80, and the rejection store | warehouse | chamber 90 in the direction of 903b. Stored in the storage. This completes the depositing operation.

Next, the operation at the time of a withdrawal transaction will be described. In the withdrawal process, first, a predetermined number of banknotes are fed out from the safes for each denomination of the withdrawal bank 70 and the recycle box 80 and supplied to the banknote discrimination unit 30. In the banknote discrimination | determination part 30, a denomination is discriminate | determined. Then, the switching gate 503 is switched so that the banknote is stored on the deposit / withdrawal port side, and the banknote that has passed through the determination unit is stored in the deposit / withdrawal port 20, and then the gate on the upper surface of the slot 20a is opened to allow the user to To be able to take. The withdrawal process ends when the user receives the banknote in the storage unit.

Next, the operation of loading banknotes into the recycle box or collecting the banknotes in the recycle box will be described. Loading and recovery can be realized by transporting banknotes between the loading / recovery store 81, the temporary storage store 40, and the recycle store 80. First, the loading operation is an operation in which banknotes are collectively set in the loading / recovery box 81 and automatically stored in the recycling box 80 in the apparatus. The collection operation is an operation for automatically collecting and storing a predetermined number of sheets from the recycle store 80 to the load / recover store 81 when the recycle store 80 is full. The collection is an operation of moving along the reverse route to the loading operation.
The banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 having the above configuration is mounted inside the right side of the automatic teller machine 101 as shown in FIG.

With respect to the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 shown in FIG. 3, when the banknote storage such as the withdrawal bank 70 and the recycle box 80 constituting the lower banknote mechanism 1b is increased, the rear part 1b of the upper transport unit becomes higher, and the banknote depositing / dispensing port 1 The visibility of certain deposited or withdrawn banknotes is reduced. FIG. 5 shows the relationship with the user's line of sight when six banknote storages are used. Normally, the shutter is on a flat surface. However, by adopting a structure in which the shutter 21 is also opened and closed on the front side (user side) as shown in the drawing, even when the height of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 increases, Confirmation of banknotes in the mouthpiece 20, that is, deterioration of visibility can be prevented. In addition, the storage space in the deposit / withdrawal port is configured so that the banknote is in a standing state as illustrated.

Next, examples of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
6 and 7 show a state in which the shutter 21 of the deposit / withdrawal port is opened. As the shutter structure, it is desirable that the angle between the upper side (first surface) and the front side (second surface) on the user side is about 110 degrees (see FIG. 7). This is because the upper surface is originally inclined so that the user can easily confirm the banknote at the deposit / withdrawal port. The angle between the first surface and the second surface is preferably 90 degrees or more in the surface of the storage space. At the time of deposit transaction, as shown in FIG. 7, when a user deposits a bill, the shutter 21 is rotated around the fulcrum 202 by the shutter drive motor 201 and opened before the deposit / withdrawal port 20 is opened. A bill 210 is inserted between the plate 204 and the push plate 203. After the bill is inserted, the removal sensor 211 confirms that the user's hand has been removed, and performs a closing operation. The front guide plate 207 falls to the near side when the shutter is opened (FIG. 7) and rises when the shutter is closed to prevent the upper end of the bill from falling (FIGS. 8 and 9). In FIG. 6, the front guide plate 207 is tilted so that the user can improve the visibility of the banknote in the standing position. Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the sensors 211 are installed at the four corners of the deposit / withdrawal port, and can be widely detected by installing them in the diagonal direction of the open surface.
Next, before the deposited banknote is pushed out toward the front plate 204 during the feeding operation, the push plate 203 is moved back and forth several times to align the banknotes, and the push plate 203 is pushed toward the front plate 204 as shown in FIG. The feed roller 206 is fed into the apparatus by the rotation operation. Thus, the lower part of the deposit / withdrawal port is provided with a feeding mechanism for feeding out the banknotes standing in the storage space into the apparatus.

As shown in FIG. 9, the banknotes withdrawn from the apparatus are accumulated in the space between the push plate 203 and the rear plate 205 by the accumulation mechanism, and then the front guide plate 207 is on the near side simultaneously with the shutter 21 being half open. Will fall ready to take out. When it is detected that the user's hand is approaching, the shutter is fully opened as shown in FIG. 10, and the user can easily take out the banknote. For example, as shown in FIG. 9, the sensor 211 may be detected by keeping the shutter 21 in a half-open state so that the sensor 211 touches the user's eyes and the hand blocks the optical axis of the sensor 211. . The banknote residual sensors 212 and 213 detect the absence of the banknote 210 in the deposit / withdrawal port, and the withdrawal sensor 211 confirms that the user's hand has been removed, and performs a closing operation. Since the sensors 211, 212, and 213 are basically sensors that detect the presence or absence of banknotes in the storage space, they are also referred to as banknote detection sensors.

As described above, according to the present invention, even when the deposit / withdrawal port is mounted at a high position as in the case where the number of banknote storages constituting the lower banknote mechanism is increased, the cash automatic having good operability for the user. There is an effect that a transaction device can be constituted. Naturally, since the banknotes are kept in a standing state, the gravity of the banknotes makes it easy for a large number of banknotes to be aligned downward. Easy to get good performance. And it will operate for the user in the state in which the denomination of the front (front or back) of a bill is easy to see. Moreover, even if it is installed outdoors where rain falls or the like, even if the shutter of the deposit / withdrawal port is in an open state, the shutter covers the upper portion, so that it is difficult for rain to enter, and adhesion of moisture to banknotes and equipment can be prevented.
