Abstract
【解決手段】ディスプレイ装置100は、レーザアドレッシング装置150によりアドレッシングされる発光画素115を有する発光画面110を含む。各画素115は、光電陰極125に隣り合って配置された発光領域135を含む。レーザビーム157が照射すると、自由電子が生成される。この自由電子が、印加された高電圧電界により光電陰極125から発光領域135まで加速されることにより、発光領域135に、アドレッシングビームのエネルギーより実質的に高い輝度(エネルギー)の可視光を発光させる。

Claims (3)
- ディスプレイ装置であって、
各画素が光電陰極領域と、該光電陰極領域から隔てられた発光領域とを含む、複数の画素を有する発光画面と、
前記複数の画素のうち選択された画素にレーザビームを導くことにより、各選択された画素が自由電子を生成し、該自由電子が各選択画素の発光領域に可視光を発光させて、前記発光画面上に所望のイメージを生成するレーザシステムと、
を含むディスプレイ装置。 - ディスプレイ装置であって、
複数の光電陰極領域を含む第1プレートと複数の発光領域を含む第2プレートとを含み、前記第1プレートと前記第2プレートとが、各発光領域が対応する光電陰極領域に隣接して位置するように隔てられている発光画面と、
前記複数の光電陰極領域全体にレーザビームを導くとともに、前記複数の光電陰極領域のうち選択された光電陰極領域に比較的高いレーザパルスが照射されるように前記レーザビームを変調するレーザシステムと、
を含むディスプレイ装置。 - ディスプレイ装置であって、
各画素が光電陰極と該光電陰極に隣接して配置された発光領域とを含む画素のアレイと、前記光電陰極と前記発光領域との間に印加電界を発生させる手段と、を含む発光画面と、
選択された画素の光電陰極にビームを導く手段であって、該ビームが前記光電陰極に自由電子を生成させるために十分なエネルギーを含み、該自由電子が前記印加電界により前記選択された画素の発光領域内まで加速されることにより、前記発光領域に可視光を発光させる手段と、
を含むディスプレイ装置。
