Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a surface mounter for mounting various components including electronic components on a circuit board. In particular, the mounting head includes a rotating body (nozzle assembly block) having a plurality of nozzles. The present invention relates to a surface mounter that advances a mounting process while switching nozzles according to the rotation of a nozzle assembly block.
Conventionally, a mounting head movable between a component supply unit and a printed circuit board positioned at a predetermined work position has been provided, and a component suction nozzle attached to the lower end of the head is used to absorb the component from the component supply unit. A surface mounting machine for mounting on a printed circuit board is known.
In recent years, surface mounting machines have been equipped with a rotating body (nozzle assembly block) in which a plurality of types of nozzles are arranged around the mounting head, and the mounting process is performed while switching the nozzles by rotating the block. Mounting machines are being developed.
The surface mounting machine having such a head structure is also similar in that it is required to prevent troubles caused by suction of foreign matters. However, when the conventional configuration in which the air filter is incorporated inside the nozzle is applied as it is, the air filter is removed while removing the nozzle assembly block from the mounting head and removing the nozzle from the mounting head during maintenance of the air filter. Therefore, the workability is very bad. Therefore, it is necessary to solve this point.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances. The mounting head includes a rotating body (nozzle assembly block) in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged around the nozzle, and the nozzles are switched according to the rotation of the block. An object of the surface mounter that advances the mounting process is to improve the workability of the air filter while providing an air filter to prevent troubles caused by suction of foreign matters.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a nozzle assembly block in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged in the circumferential direction, and is rotatably supported by a block support portion of a mounting head. While the first negative pressure supply passages that are independent from each other are provided, the block support portion is provided with a second negative pressure supply passage that communicates with a negative pressure supply source. As the nozzle assembly block rotates, By disposing the nozzle at a predetermined working position, the first negative pressure supply passage corresponding to the nozzle communicates with the second negative pressure supply passage, so that the negative pressure for adsorbing components to the nozzle In the surface mounter configured to be capable of supplying the air, an air filter is provided in the negative pressure inlet portion of each first negative pressure supply passage in the nozzle assembly block.
According to such a configuration, when foreign matter or the like is sucked by mistake, the foreign matter or the like is captured by the air filter provided in each first negative pressure supply passage of the nozzle assembly block. Also, during maintenance of the air filter, the nozzle assembly block is removed from the block support, and each nozzle is replaced by replacing the air filter provided at the negative pressure inlet of each first negative pressure supply passage. The maintenance work of the air filter can be performed while being attached to the nozzle assembly block. In addition, by blowing air with the air filter removed from the removed nozzle assembly block, it is possible to clean each first negative pressure supply passage and each nozzle.
Further, according to the present invention, a nozzle assembly block in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged in the circumferential direction is rotatably supported by a block support portion of a mounting head, and the nozzle assembly block communicates with each nozzle. 1 negative pressure supply passage is provided, and the block support portion is provided with a second negative pressure supply passage communicating with a negative pressure supply source, and the nozzle assembly block is moved to a predetermined working position as the nozzle assembly block rotates. By disposing the nozzle, the first negative pressure supply passage corresponding to the nozzle communicates with the second negative pressure supply passage so that the negative pressure for component suction can be supplied to the nozzle. In the surface mounter configured as described above, an air filter is provided in a negative pressure outlet port portion of the second negative pressure supply passage in the block support portion.
According to such a configuration, when foreign matter or the like is sucked by mistake, the foreign matter or the like is captured by the air filter provided in the second negative pressure supply passage of the block support portion. Also, during maintenance of the air filter, by removing the nozzle assembly block from the block support portion and replacing the air filter provided at the negative pressure outlet port portion of the second negative pressure supply passage in the block support portion, Maintenance work of the air filter can be performed with each nozzle attached to the nozzle assembly block. Furthermore, if the nozzle assembly block is removed from the block support portion, the first negative pressure supply passage and the interior of each nozzle can be cleaned by blowing air immediately.
In each of the above surface mounting machines, an insertion recess for inserting an air filter is provided at the end opening portion of the negative pressure supply passage, and the air filter is inserted into the insertion recess, A seal member that seals between the nozzle assembly block and the block support portion is inserted around the first and second negative pressure supply passages on the inlet side of the insertion recess from the air filter. Therefore, it is preferable that the air filter is prevented from coming off from the insertion recess.
According to this configuration, the first negative pressure supply passage and the second negative pressure supply passage are connected to each other without a gap by sealing the nozzle assembly block and the block support portion with the seal member. Moreover, the air filter is pressed against the inner end of the insertion recess by the elastic force of the seal member, and the air filter is prevented from falling off from the insertion recess.
According to the surface mounter of the first or second aspect, as described above, at the time of maintenance of the air filter, if the nozzle assembly block is removed from the block support portion, each nozzle is attached to the nozzle assembly block and the air filter is installed. Exchange etc. can be performed. Therefore, in the surface mounter that advances the mounting process while switching the nozzles with the rotation of the nozzle assembly block, it is possible to effectively prevent troubles due to foreign matter suction and the like, while improving the maintenance workability of the air filter. . Further, the first negative pressure supply passage and the inside of each nozzle can be cleaned while each nozzle is mounted on the nozzle assembly block, and the cleaning workability is improved. In particular, according to the surface mounter of the second aspect, since the air filter can be made common to a plurality of nozzles by providing the air filter on the block support portion side, the above-described trouble can be achieved with a reasonable configuration. In addition, since the number of air filters is reduced due to the common use, the maintenance workability of the air filter can be further improved.
According to the surface mounter of the third aspect, the sealing member that is structurally essential for sealing between the nozzle assembly block and the block support portion around the first and second negative pressure supply passages. It is possible to achieve a rational configuration that also serves as a fixing member for the air filter.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The head unit 5 further includes a Z-axis drive mechanism for moving the
The Z-axis drive mechanism has a Z-
The R-axis drive mechanism is mounted on the

The
The
The
The block drive mechanism includes a
More specifically, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The
A
Further, the transmission mechanism includes a
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The
An
Of the
In the
The
In order to prevent air from leaking from the
Further, the lock mechanism for locking the displacement in the longitudinal axis direction of the
A
According to the mounting machine of the present embodiment as described above, as the component mounting operation, first, the head unit 5 moves to the
When the components are picked up, the head unit 5 moves onto the printed circuit board 3 through operations such as imaging by the
In such component mounting operation, the
In such a series of mounting operations, maintenance of the
As described above, in this mounting machine, each
Moreover, since the
Further, each
In this mounting machine, since the negative pressure is supplied by communicating the
Next, a mounting machine according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The mounting machine according to the second embodiment has the same configuration as that of the first embodiment except for the points described below. Therefore, in the following description, parts common to the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, description thereof is omitted, and only differences are described in detail.
FIG. 6 shows a main part of the
As shown in these drawings, the mounting machine according to the second embodiment has a configuration in which the
According to the second embodiment, the basic function and effect are the same as those of the first embodiment. However, only one
