Abstract
【解決手段】光学式スケール11が回転して凸レンズ13が透過0次光T0にさしかかると、光源15から出力した光束Lのうち、回折格子12を透過する透過0次光T0は、周辺の光が集光されて基準位置信号検出センサ14に入射し、基準位置信号検出センサ14からはより大きな出力が得られ、この信号が基準位置信号となる。一方、回折格子12により反射された反射回折光La、Lbは干渉後に回折光検出センサ16で検出され、スケール11の速度、角度等の検出がなされる。

Claims (8)
- インクリメンタル信号と基準位置信号を出力する光学式スケールであって、基板にインクリメンタル信号を生成するパターンと基準位置信号を生成するパターンを形成し、前記インクリメンタル信号を得るパターンに照射した光束のうち、前記インクリメンタル信号の生成に使用しない不要透過光又は不要反射光を、同一光軸上に設けた前記基準位置信号を得るパターンに入射させることを特徴とする光学式スケール。
- 前記インクリメンタル信号を生成するパターンは回折格子とした請求項1に記載の光学式スケール。
- 前記基準位置信号を生成するパターンは前記基板に設けた透孔としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学式スケール。
- 前記基準位置信号を生成するパターンは、前記インクリメンタル信号のパターンの一部と略同位置に配置した請求項1〜3の何れか1つの請求項に記載の光学式スケール。
- 前記基準位置信号を生成するパターンは、二次元パターンであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の光学式スケール。
- 前記基準位置信号を生成するパターンは、レンズであることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の光学式スケール。
- 前記基準位置信号を生成するパターンは、フレネルレンズであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光学式スケール。
- 請求項1〜7の何れか1つの光学式スケールを搭載した光学式エンコーダ。
