Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a self-luminous display device that is installed on a road shoulder, a median strip, or the like, and allows a road user to recognize the state of the road by providing information to the road user.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, self-luminous display devices installed on road shoulders, median strips, and the like have been known that use bullet-type light emitting diodes as their light sources. A bullet-type light emitting diode is suitable for a self-luminous display device installed on a road because it has a long light emission life and requires less maintenance. For example, in
By the way, since the light emitted forward from the display surface of the bullet-type light emitting diode is generally only 1/5 to 1/10 of the total luminous flux, the self-luminous display described in
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems. The light emitting area per bullet light emitting diode is increased so that the character dots representing character information and the like are not roughened, and the arrangement interval is widened. By doing so, the present invention intends to provide a self-luminous display device in which the number of use of bullet-type light emitting diodes is reduced.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is configured as follows. That is, a self-luminous display device according to the present invention is a self-luminous display device configured to display information such as characters, figures, symbols and the like on a display substrate by a plurality of bullet-type light emitting diodes. A light emitting diode and a light collector for condensing the light emitted from the bullet light emitting diode and emitting the light to the front side of the display substrate. The light collector receives light from the bullet light emitting diode. A reflection portion that reflects the light toward the front side of the display substrate, and a convex lens portion that transmits light from the bullet-type light emitting diode and emits the light to the front side of the display substrate. Is.
According to the present invention, in addition to the above-described configuration, the concentrator is disposed for each bullet-type light emitting diode, and a hole into which the bullet-type light-emitting diode can be inserted is formed at the apex portion so as to have a substantially conical shape. The reflection part having the protruding wall body is inserted in a direction extending from the base of the bullet-type light emitting diode to the tip direction, and the convex lens part having a larger area than the circular cross section of the bullet-type light emitting diode is attached to the tip of the reflection part. The bullet-type light emitting diode is included by the reflecting portion and the convex lens portion.
The self-luminous display device according to the present invention is a self-luminous display device configured to display information such as characters, figures, symbols, and the like on a display substrate by a plurality of bullet-type light emitting diodes. A light emitting diode and a light collector for condensing the light emitted from the bullet light emitting diode and emitting the light to the front side of the display substrate. The light collector receives light from the bullet light emitting diode. Since it has a reflection part that reflects the light toward the front side of the display substrate and a convex lens part that transmits the light from the bullet-type light emitting diode and emits the light to the front side of the display board, Since the light emitted from the side of the light emitting diode can be reflected by the reflecting portion and directed to the front side of the display substrate, the light emitted from the bullet-type light emitting diode can be used for display of character information with almost no loss. .
Further, the concentrator is disposed for each of the bullet-type light emitting diodes, and a reflecting portion having a wall that protrudes in a substantially conical shape with a hole into which the bullet-type light emitting diode can be inserted at the apex portion. Inserted in a direction spreading from the root of the bullet-type light emitting diode to the tip direction, a convex lens part having a larger area than the circular cross section of the bullet-type light emitting diode is attached to the tip of the reflective part, and the bullet-type light emitting diode is formed by the reflective part and the convex lens part. , The convex lens and the bullet-type light emitting diode can be easily positioned by the reflecting portion. Therefore, the angle of the light emitted from the bullet-shaped light-emitting diode can be made as designed by the convex lens, and the self-light emission The visibility of the display device can be made desirable, and the area of light emitted to the front side of the display substrate for each bullet-type light emitting diode can be increased. Since it is, it is possible to reduce the number of bullet type light emitting diode disposed on the display substrate of the same area. Thereby, the light emission control of the bullet-type light emitting diode is facilitated, and the power consumption of the bullet-type light emitting diode can be reduced, so that the amount of heat generation is suppressed and the life of the bullet-type light emitting diode can be extended. Furthermore, the power consumption of the bullet-type light emitting diode can be reduced, so that, for example, when a solar cell that receives sunlight and generates power is used as a power source of the self-luminous display device, the capacity of the solar cell and the generated electricity are stored. The capacity of the power storage device to be reduced can be reduced.

When the bullet-type

The reflecting
