(1)アルギン酸の多価アルコールエステルであって、エステル化度が70%以上であり、1%水溶液に於ける粘度が、20℃の測定条件において、100mPascal秒以下であるものを皮膚外用剤全量に対して2〜5質量%含有することを特徴とする、乳化剤形の皮膚外用剤。
(2)前記アルギン酸の多価アルコールエステルが、アルギン酸プロピレングリコールエステルであることを特徴とする、(1)に記載の乳化剤形の皮膚外用剤。
(3)前記アルギン酸の多価アルコールエステルの含有量が、1〜5質量%であることを特徴とする、(1)又は(2)に記載の乳化剤形の皮膚外用剤。
(4)水中油乳化剤形であることを特徴とする、(1)〜(3)何れか1項に記載の乳化剤形の皮膚外用剤。
(5)実質的に界面活性剤を含有しないことを特徴とする、(1)〜(4)何れか1項に記載の乳化剤形の皮膚外用剤。
