Description

The present invention relates to fire extinguishing equipment.

There are roughly three types of fires: fire A (normal fire), fire B (oil fire), and fire C (electric fire). A fire is a fire caused by solid combustible materials such as wood, paper, cloth, etc. B fire is a fire caused by gasoline, petroleum, oils and fats, C fire is a lot of substations, power stations, and other electrical equipment. It is a fire that occurs in a dangerous facility. Fire extinguishing equipment is generally classified into sprinkler fire extinguishing equipment, foam fire extinguishing equipment, powder fire extinguishing equipment, and gas fire extinguishing equipment.

This foam fire extinguishing equipment (for example, Patent Document 1) is an equipment mainly focusing on the suppression and extinguishing of fire B. Compared with a normal sprinkler fire extinguishing equipment, fire A and fire prevention It is considered that the performance is inferior.
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-83048

By the way, the parking lot is usually provided with a foam fire extinguishing facility in preparation for an oil fire caused by gasoline or the like. However, a survey of fire cases in parking lots revealed that there were surprisingly many fires of combustible materials corresponding to fire A, accounting for about half. Fires A, B, and C rarely occur independently. For example, when a fire occurs at a paint store, fire B due to paint and fire A due to residence (wood building) occur together. There are many cases to do. Then, this invention aims at obtaining the fire extinguishing equipment corresponding to both A fire and B fire.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and is connected to a water supply source and a water film-forming foam fire extinguishing chemical source, and supplied from the water supply source and the water film-forming foam fire-extinguishing chemical source. In a fire extinguishing facility equipped with a mixer for producing a foam aqueous solution by mixing with a water film forming foam fire extinguishing agent, a normally closed on-off control valve connected to the secondary side of the mixer via a pipe, An open fire extinguishing head connected to the secondary side of the open / close control valve, a fire detector disposed in a protection area provided with the open fire extinguishing head, and receiving a fire signal from the fire detector, A receiver that outputs a valve opening signal to the open / close control valve, and when the fire detector senses a fire and outputs a fire signal, the open-side fire extinguishing head supplies the foam aqueous solution on the primary side of the open / close control valve. To the protected area without foaming. It is characterized in that.

The present invention as described above uses a water film-forming foam fire extinguishing agent as a fire extinguishing agent, and discharges an aqueous foam solution from an open fire extinguishing head in a substantially liquid state rather than in a foam form. Therefore, for a normal fire, the fired product is extinguished by cooling with an aqueous foam solution and the fire is extinguished, and for an oil fire, a water film is formed on the surface of fuel such as gasoline to shut off oxygen. To extinguish the fire. For this reason, even if both a normal fire and an oil fire occur in a protected area, or both occur simultaneously, the fire can be surely extinguished.

Reference Example An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 2 is a water tank as a water supply source in which the water for fire extinguishing W is stored, and 4 is a chemical tank as an example of a fire extinguishing chemical containing a water film forming foam fire extinguishing chemical G. Reference numeral 6 denotes a mixer, which is connected to the water tank 2 and the chemical tank 4 and mixes the fire-extinguishing water W supplied from the water tank 2 and the water film-forming foam fire-extinguishing chemical G supplied from the chemical tank 4 to form a water film-forming solution. To produce an aqueous foam solution. When fire fighting water W is supplied from the water tank 2 to the mixer 6, a part of the fire fighting water W is also supplied to the chemical tank 4 through the pipe 5. In the chemical tank 4, the water film foam extinguishing chemical G is supplied to the mixer 6 by supplying the fire-extinguishing water W.

This water film-forming foam fire-extinguishing agent G is a foam-extinguishing agent for water-soluble liquids mainly composed of a fluorosurfactant and comprising a foaming stabilizer, a water-soluble polymer, a freeze inhibitor and the like. Generally, fire extinguishing is performed by the air blocking action of both foam and water film formation. However, in the present invention, the foam aqueous solution is sprayed from the fire extinguishing head in a state where there is almost no foam, and a thin film, so-called water film is formed on the surface of the combustible material or fuel to coat and extinguish the suffocation.

8 is a closed fire extinguishing head connected to the secondary side of the mixer 6 through a pipe. For example, fires of both normal fires (A fires) and oil fires (B fires), such as parking lots and paint shops, are generated. Provided in potential protected areas. Of course, the fire extinguishing head 8 may be provided in a protection area where A fire and B fire occur independently.

The closed fire extinguishing head 8 will be described with reference to FIG. The closed fire extinguishing head 8 is discharged from the head body 10, a valve body 12 that closes the discharge port 11, a glass valve 13 as an example of a heat sensitive member that presses the valve body 12 against the discharge port 11, and the discharge port 11. And a deflector 14 that disperses the aqueous foam solution in a substantially aqueous solution state in the protected area. As shown in the figure, the deflector 14 is a flat one having no claw at the periphery. This is to suppress the foam aqueous solution from foaming by reducing the collision between the foam aqueous solution and the deflector 14.

By the way, the foam head conventionally used with the foam fire extinguishing equipment has increased the foaming ratio of the foam aqueous solution discharged | emitted from a discharge port by covering a deflector with a metal net. The expansion ratio is several times or more in the case of low expansion, and reaches several hundred times in the case of high expansion. In contrast, the closed fire extinguishing head 8 of the present invention has a structure in which the wire mesh is removed and the deflector 14 is exposed to the outside. As a result, the aqueous foam solution (mixed solution) discharged from the discharge port 11 is almost diffused and released in the entire circumferential direction, and foaming of the aqueous foam solution can be suppressed during diffusion.

Reference numeral 20 denotes a running water detection device provided for each protection section, and is provided between the closed fire extinguishing head 8 and the mixer 6. The secondary side piping of the flowing water detection device 20 is filled with a foam aqueous solution or water. When the closed fire extinguishing head 8 is opened and the pressure in the secondary side piping is reduced, the flowing water detection device 20 is turned off by the fire control panel 22. To output a running water detection signal based on the pressure drop.

In FIG. 1, 24 is a pump, and 26 is a pressure adjusting valve for adjusting the water pressure of the fire-extinguishing water W pumped from the pump 24 and is connected to the fire-extinguishing control panel 22 via a signal line. Although not shown, a pressure air tank storing compressed air for pressurizing the inside of the secondary side pipe to a predetermined pressure is connected between the pump 24 and the mixer 6. The pump 24 may be activated when the compressed air drops below a predetermined value.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described. For example, when a B fire caused by fuel such as a vehicle occurs in the protection area, alcohol in the glass valve 13 of the closed fire extinguishing head 8 expands due to the heat, and as a result, the glass valve 13 bursts. As a result, the valve body 12 falls and the discharge port 11 is opened, and the aqueous foam solution that has accumulated in the secondary pipe of the flowing water detection device 20 is discharged from the discharge port 11. Then, the flowing water detection device 20 outputs a flowing water detection signal to the fire extinguishing control panel 22, whereby a pump activation signal is transmitted from the fire extinguishing control panel 22 to the pump 24, and the pump 24 is activated.

With the activation of the pump 24, the water for fire extinguishing W in the water tank 2 is supplied to the mixer 6 and the chemical tank 4 while the pressure is adjusted by the pressure regulating valve 26. The mixer 6 mixes the fire-extinguishing water W supplied from the water tank 2 and the water-film-forming foam fire-extinguishing agent G supplied from the chemical tank 4, and a foam aqueous solution having a predetermined concentration, for example, 1.0% to 2.5%. Is generated. This foam aqueous solution is supplied to the closed fire extinguishing head 8 through the flowing water detection device 20 and the secondary side pipe, and discharged from the discharge port 11 toward the deflector 14.

At this time, the closed fire extinguishing head 8 is attached with no wire mesh and the deflector 14 exposed to the outside, and the aqueous foam solution itself has low foaming properties. 3.0%), the foam aqueous solution hardly discharges and is directly discharged from the fire extinguishing head 8 in a substantially liquid state.

In other words, since the foam aqueous solution is scattered in the form of small water droplets by the deflector 14, the velocity energy is not reduced, and thus the flight distance can be greatly increased compared to the case where the foam is released in the form of foam, thus expanding the fire extinguishing range. And has a high penetration through the flame.

Also, the aqueous foam solution directly jumps into the flame, reaches the surface of the fuel against the flame air flow, and forms a water film on the surface of the fuel. This water film is diffused to cover the entire fuel and extinguish the suffocation. The water film is spread very quickly and reaches every corner of the fuel surface, so that effective fire extinguishing can be performed.

Next, description will be made on a case where A fire occurs due to, for example, cardboard in the protected area burning. As described above, the aqueous foam solution is discharged from the closed fire extinguishing head 8 in a substantially liquid state, not as a foam. For this reason, when the foam aqueous solution falls on the combustion product, the combustion product is extinguished by a so-called cooling effect that the combustion product is cooled by the foam aqueous solution. Thus, in this invention, it becomes possible to acquire the fire extinguishing effect similar to the fire extinguishing in a normal sprinkler fire extinguishing equipment with respect to A fire by discharging | emitting foam aqueous solution directly as a substantially liquid.

In this reference example, the case where a closed fire extinguishing head is used as the fire extinguishing head has been described. However, the same effect can be obtained even when an open fire extinguishing head is used.

Embodiment 1
An embodiment in which an open fire extinguishing head is used as the fire extinguishing head will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 3, the configuration of the primary side of the flowing water detection device 20 is the same as that in FIG. 1, and therefore only the chemical tank 4 and the mixer 6 are illustrated and the others are omitted.

In FIG. 3, 30 is a normally-closed open / close control valve provided on the secondary side of the flowing water detection device 20 for each protection area, and is opened by a signal from a receiver described later. Reference numeral 32 denotes an open-type fire extinguishing head connected to the secondary side of the open / close control valve 30, which has a configuration in which, for example, the valve body 12 and the glass valve 13 are removed in FIG. 2.

Reference numeral 34 denotes one or a plurality of fire detectors arranged for each protection area where the open-type fire extinguishing head 32 is provided, and reference numeral 36 denotes a fire detector 34 connected to the fire detector 34 to receive a signal determined to be a fire. Then, it is a receiver which outputs a valve opening signal to the opening / closing control valve 30 of the corresponding protection area.

When the fire detector 34 detects a fire and outputs a fire signal, the receiver 36 outputs a valve opening signal to the opening / closing control valve 30 in the corresponding protected area to open the valve. As a result, the foam aqueous solution on the primary side of the open / close control valve 30 flows out to the secondary side and is scattered and discharged from the open head 32 by the deflector 14 in the same manner as described above.

At the same time, a running water signal is output from the running water detection device 20 and the pump 24 is activated. Since the operation after the pump is started is the same as that in the first embodiment, the description is omitted. Instead of the fire detector 34 and the open / close control valve 30, a thermal valve may be used.

The present invention as described above uses a water film-forming foam fire extinguishing agent as a fire extinguishing agent, and discharges the aqueous foam solution from the closed fire extinguishing head in a substantially liquid state, not in the form of bubbles. Therefore, for a normal fire, the fired product is extinguished by cooling with an aqueous foam solution and the fire is extinguished, and for an oil fire, a water film is formed on the surface of fuel such as gasoline to shut off oxygen. To extinguish the fire. For this reason, even if both a normal fire and an oil fire occur in the protected area, or both occur simultaneously, the fire can be surely extinguished.
