Abstract
【効果】 パルプスラッジ14は植物の根張空間として利用され、分解されて養分となり、その毛細管現象により水分を吸収し、しかもその微細空間構造により酸素を有するため、パルプスラッジ14は植物の根に栄養分、水分および酸素を供給する。また、弱アルカリ性の環境下により水分を腐敗し植物の生育を阻害する嫌気性微生物の発生を予防し、適切な植物の生育環境を提供する。

Claims (8)
- 無機系固化材を基材とし、水分を補給して植物を栽培する植栽基盤において、
生分解性繊維が混練された無機系固化材に好気性微生物に比べて嫌気性微生物の繁殖をより大きく抑制する特定処理を施すようにしたことを特徴とする、植栽基盤。 - 前記好気性微生物および前記嫌気性微生物の各々は細菌を含み、
前記特定処理によって前記細菌の繁殖を抑制する、請求項1記載の植栽基盤。 - 前記特定処理は固化した無機系固化材の表面のpH値を7.5〜8.0の範囲に収める処理である、請求項1または2記載の植栽基盤。
- 前記特定処理は固化した無機系固化材の表面のpH値を8.0〜9.0の範囲に収める処理である、請求項1または2記載の植栽基盤。
- 前記無機系固化材はポルトランドセメントであり、
前記特定処理は固化したポルトランドセメントの表面のアルカリ性を中和させる処理である、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の植栽基盤。 - 前記生分解性繊維は少なくとも45%の体積比を有する、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の植栽基盤。
- 前記生分解性繊維は植物系繊維である、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の植栽基盤。
- 前記生分解性繊維は鉱物繊維である、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の植栽基盤。
