Abstract

Claims (4)
- 第1の異方性構造配向を有する第の中間調を選択するステップと、
前記第1の中間調とは異なる第2の異方性構造配向を有する第2の中間調を選択するステップと、
中間調画像の少なくとも何らかの部分に前記第1の中間調を適用するステップと、
前記中間調画像の他の部分に前記第2の中間調を適用するステップと、
前記各ステップから生じた中間調画像のハードコピー出力に透明トナーを適用し、その適用された透明トナーの第1の部分に第3の異方性構造配向を有する第3の中間調が与えられ、かつ前記適用された透明トナーの他の部分には第4の異方性構造配向を有する第4の中間調が与えられるようにするステップと、
を含む、ハードコピー出力における差光沢を操作する方法。 - 前記第3の異方性構造配向を有する前記第3の中間調を与えられた前記適用された透明トナーの前記第1の部分が、前記第1の中間調と実質的に同時に適用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第3の異方性構造配向を有する前記第3の中間調を与えられた前記適用された透明トナーの前記第1の部分が、前記第1の中間調の適用とは独立したパターンで重畳されるように適用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1の異方性構造配向を有する第1の中間調を選択するステップと、
前記第1の中間調とは異なる第2の異方性構造配向を有する第2の中間調を選択するステップと、
基体上に堆積された透明トナー層の第1の部分に前記第1の中間調を適用するステップと、
基体上に堆積された前記透明トナー層の他の部分に前記第2の中間調を適用するステップと、
を含む、基体上の感知される差光沢を操作する方法。
