Abstract
【解決手段】 基地局が、基地局に帰属する端末局から、この端末局宛のデータの送信を促すPS−Poll信号を受信すると(401、411)、端末局にPS−Poll信号の受信成功を示すACK信号を送信し(402、412)、さらに、端末局宛のデータがある場合には、当該データを含むデータフレームを送信し(413)、端末局宛のデータがない場合には、中身のないデータフレームを送信する(403)。そして、端末局が、このデータフレーム(中身のないデータフレームを含む)を受信すると、基地局にACK信号を送信した後、送受信機能が停止するDoze状態に遷移する(404、414)。

Claims (5)
- 無線LANシステムにおける省電力化方法であって、
基地局が、該基地局に帰属する端末局から、該端末局宛のデータの送信を促すPS−Poll信号を受信すると、前記端末局に該PS−Poll信号の受信成功を示すACK信号を送信し、さらに、前記端末局宛のデータがある場合には、当該データを含むデータフレームを送信し、前記端末局宛のデータがない場合には、中身のないデータフレームを送信するステップと、
前記端末局が、前記データフレームを受信すると、前記基地局にACK信号を送信し、送受信機能が停止するDoze状態に遷移するステップを有する方法。 - 無線LANシステムにおける基地局であって、
該基地局に帰属する端末局から、該端末局宛のデータの送信を促すPS−Poll信号を受信すると、前記端末局に該PS−Poll信号の受信成功を示すACK信号を送信する手段と、
前記端末局から前記PS−Poll信号を受信すると、前記端末局宛のデータがある場合には、当該データを含むデータフレームを生成して送信し、前記端末局宛のデータがない場合には、中身のないデータフレームを生成して送信する手段を有する基地局。 - 無線LANシステムにおける端末局であって、
該端末局が帰属する基地局に、前記端末局宛のデータの送信を促すPS−Poll信号を送信する第1の手段と、
前記基地局からデータフレームを受信すると、前記基地局にACK信号を送信し、前記端末局を送受信機能が停止するDoze状態に遷移させる第2の手段を有する端末局。 - 前記基地局に帰属するときに前記基地局から受信するAssociation Response情報から、前記基地局が当該端末局宛のデータを有しない場合でも、PS−Poll信号に応答して、中身の無いデータフレームを送信する基地局であるか否かを判断し、そのような基地局である場合にのみ、前記第2の手段を作動させる第3の手段をさらに有する、請求項3に記載の端末局。
- 請求項2に記載の基地局と、
該基地局に帰属する、請求項3または4に記載の端末局を有し、
前記基地局と前記端末局との間で、無線LANのPower Saveモードでのデータ通信が可能な無線LANシステム。
