Abstract
【解決手段】 目標値入力部25により記録媒体90のバーコード91を読み取って合波レーザ光Leの光出力の目標値を得る。この目標値が、予め定められた基準値未満のときに、光出力制御部30により、複数の半導体レーザ10a、10b・・・のうちの2つの半導体レーザ10a、10bを選択し、選択された半導体レーザ10a、10bのそれぞれを発振閾値電流以上、最大定格電流以下で駆動し、選択されなかった半導体レーザ10c、10d・・・の駆動を停止させ、半導体レーザ10a、10bから射出され合波部15を通して合波させた合波レーザ光Leの光出力を上記目標値にする。そして、上記合波レーザ光Leを合波レーザ光照射部20に通して記録媒体90へ照射する。

Claims (2)
- 複数のレーザ光源から射出された各レーザ光を合波した合波レーザ光を記録媒体に照射する合波レーザ光照射方法であって、
前記記録媒体の光感度に応じて定められた前記合波レーザ光の光出力の目標値が、予め定められた基準値未満のときに、前記複数のレーザ光源のうちの一部分のレーザ光源を選択し、
前記選択されたレーザ光源のそれぞれを発振閾値電流以上、最大定格電流以下で駆動し、選択されなかったレーザ光源の駆動を停止して前記合波レーザ光の光出力を前記目標値にすることを特徴とする合波レーザ光照射方法。 - 複数のレーザ光源と、該複数のレーザ光源から射出された各レーザ光を合波する合波手段と、前記合波手段により合波した合波レーザ光を記録媒体に照射する合波レーザ光照射手段とを備えた合波レーザ光照射装置であって、
前記記録媒体の光感度に応じて定められた、前記合波レーザ光の光出力の目標値を入力する目標値入力手段と、
前記目標値入力手段が入力した前記目標値が、予め定められた基準値未満のときに、前記複数のレーザ光源のうちの一部分のレーザ光源を選択し、前記選択されたレーザ光源のそれぞれを発振閾値電流以上、最大定格電流以下で駆動し、選択されなかったレーザ光源の駆動を停止して、前記合波レーザ光の光出力が前記目標値となるように制御する光出力制御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする合波レーザ光照射装置。
