他の追記型記録層と隣接して存在する、実質的に透明な材料の他の非金属層と、を有する。非金属反射層を有する記録スタックは、マルチスタック追記型媒体を形成するため繰り返しても良い。非金属層の利用は、非金属反射層に比較的高い透過性を付与することができる点で有利である。特に3またはそれ以上の記録スタックを用いるときには、非金属層は比較的高い光学的透過性の点で有利である。
Claims (10)
- 波長λの集光放射ビームで記録する光学式データ記憶媒体であって、ビームは記録の間、前記媒体の入射面を通って入射し、前記媒体は少なくとも:
深さgの案内溝を有する基板であって、前記案内溝は前記基板の、前記入射面とは反対の側にある基板と、
前記基板の前記案内溝のある側にある層状の記録スタックと、
を有し、前記スタックは:
波長λで複素屈折率は
前記追記型記録層と隣接して存在する、実質的に透明な材料の非金属層と、
を有し、溝深さgはnm単位で、λを用いて(λ/655)*20nm<g<(λ/655)*140nmの範囲にあることを特徴とする光学式データ記憶媒体。 - 前記非金属層は主として、透明プラスチック、シリコン、シリコン酸化物、シリコン窒化物およびシリコン炭化物の中から選択された1つの材料を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- 波長λは近似的に655nmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- g<125nmであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- g>50nmであることを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- 前記記録層は厚さdRGが145nm≦dRG*nR<245nmであり、前記非金属層は主としてSiO2を有し、厚さdTが5nm≦dT≦120nmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項3ないし5いずれかに記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- 前記記録層は厚さdRGが132nm≦dRG*nR<220nmであり、前記非金属層は主としてSiCを有し、厚さdTが5nm≦dT≦60nmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項3ないし5いずれかに記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- 前記記録層は厚さdRGが154nm≦dRG*nR<264nmであり、前記非金属層は主としてアモルファスSiを有し、厚さdTが1nm≦dT≦20nmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項3ないし5いずれかに記載の光学式データ記憶媒体。
- 案内溝は金属反射層の近傍にある、標準的な追記型光学式データ記憶媒体の案内溝上でのプッシュプル法によるトラッキングに適した、標準的な光学式データ記憶媒体記録/再生装置における、請求項1ないし9いずれかに記載の光学式データ記憶媒体の利用。
