Claims (22)
- 細長い本体部と、

- 前記細長い本体部は少なくとも部分的に生体適合重合体により形成される請求項1に記載のリード線。
- 前記細長い本体部は少なくとも部分的にシリコーンにより形成される請求項1に記載のリード線。
- 前記導電性シールドはチタンを含む請求項1に記載のリード線。
- 前記導電性シールドは前記細長い本体部の剛性が前記導電性シールドによってほとんど影響を受けないような寸法にされる請求項7に記載のリード線。
- 前記導電性シールドはスパッタ成膜工程を用いて塗布された導電性材料層を含む請求項1に記載のリード線。
- 前記細長い本体部は遠位端を含み、更に前記遠位端に結合する電極を含む請求項1に記載のリード線。
- 前記導電性シールドは約2マイクロメートル未満の厚みを有する請求項7に記載のリード線。
- 前記導電性シールドは導電性ファイバにより形成される構造を含む請求項1に記載のリード線。
- 埋め込み可能医療デバイス(IMD)と、
前記IMDに接続される電気リード線と、
前記リード線の外部の少なくとも一部に隣接して、前記リード線に対する電磁エネルギーの影響を減らすようにするシールド皮膜とを含む装置。 - 前記IMDは導電性ハウジングを含み、前記シールド皮膜は前記ハウジングに電気的に接続される請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記IMDは、ペースメーカ、カーディオバータ/ディフィブリレータ、神経刺激器、薬剤デリバリデバイス、及び血行動態モニタからなる群から選択される請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記リード線の一部に近接して導電性シールドを設けるステップと、

前記シールド皮膜を電磁エネルギーにさらすステップと、
前記エネルギーを消散させるように前記シールド皮膜を利用するステップとを含む、遮蔽された医療用電気リード線を使用する方法。 - 導電性ハウジングを備える埋め込み可能医療デバイス(IMD)を設けるステップと、
前記リード線を前記IMDに結合するステップと、
前記シールド皮膜を前記導電性ハウジングに電気的に結合するステップと、
更に前記エネルギーを消散させるように前記ハウジングを利用するステップとを更に含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 絶縁材料層によって包囲された少なくとも1つの電気ワイヤを有するリード線を設けるステップと、
前記絶縁材料の少なくとも一部の上にシールド皮膜を設けるステップであって、シールド皮膜は電磁エネルギーを受け取るようになされており、シールド皮膜は前記電気ワイヤと直に電気的につながることから絶縁されている、皮膜を設けるステップと、
前記医療用電気リード線を患者の体内に挿入するステップと、
前記シールド皮膜を電磁エネルギーにさらすステップと、

- 前記シールド皮膜を塗布するステップは、導電性材料層を前記細長い本体部の一部分に固着するステップを含む請求項20に記載の方法。
