Abstract
Description
(a)滅菌プロセスに暴露されると、所定の光学的変化を経るインジケータを含む滅菌センサを提供するステップ、
(b)読取り装置内に滅菌センサを入れるステップ、
(c)物品のパッケージの内側に読取り装置を滅菌センサと共に入れるステップ、
(d)パッケージを滅菌条件に曝すステップ、および
(e)パッケージを開けることなく、光学的変化が起こったかを知るため、読取り装置に問合せるステップ、
を含む。
Claims (8)
- 滅菌プロセスの効力を決定し、その決定を遠隔の場所に伝達するシステムであって、
効果的な滅菌プロセスに暴露されると、光学的変化を経るインジケータを含む滅菌センサ、および
前記滅菌センサを収容するように構成された読取り装置、
を含み、前記読取り装置が、
前記滅菌センサを照射する照射源、
前記照射される滅菌センサの状態を評価する第1のカラーセンサ、
前記カラーセンサの出力を解釈し、前記光学的変化が起こったかを決定する解釈回路、および、
前記解釈回路から前記遠隔の場所にデータを伝達する通信回路、
を含む、システム。 - 前記滅菌センサが使い捨てであり、前記読取り装置が再使用可能である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記解釈回路からデータを伝達するように、読取り装置に指令する質問機を更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記照射される滅菌センサの状態を評価する第2のカラーセンサを更に含み、前記解釈回路が、前記第1のカラーセンサと前記第2のカラーセンサの出力を解釈し、前記光学的変化が起こったかを決定する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記読取り装置が、前記滅菌センサに気体を運ぶように構成された、少なくとも1つの蛇行した通路を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記滅菌プロセスの効力を決定する方法であって、
効果的な滅菌プロセスに暴露されると、光学的変化を経るインジケータを含む滅菌センサを提供するステップ、
読取り装置内に前記滅菌センサを入れるステップ、
物品のパッケージの内側に、前記読取り装置を前記滅菌センサと共に入れるステップ、
前記パッケージを滅菌条件に曝すステップ、および
前記パッケージを開けることなく、前記光学的変化が起こったかを知るため、前記読取り装置に問合せるステップ、
を含む、方法。 - 前記読取り装置が、
前記滅菌センサを照射する照射源、
前記照射される滅菌センサの状態を評価するカラーセンサ、
前記カラーセンサの出力を解釈し、前記光学的変化が起こったかを決定する解釈回路、および、
前記解釈回路から、前記パッケージの外側の場所にデータを伝達する通信回路、
を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記滅菌センサが使い捨てであり、前記読取り装置が再使用可能である、請求項7に記載の方法。
