取得された基準画像と判定画像とを比較処理する際に、両画像の垂直成分をそれぞれ強調する垂直成分強調処理手段と、
垂直成分が強調された前記基準画像と判定画像との差分を求め、この差分に基づいて乗降客用出入り口ドアに挟まれた異物を検出する異物検出手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする鉄道車両における乗降客ドアの異物検出装置。
