Abstract
【解決手段】保水率50〜70%の活性炭に、ハロゲン化アルカリを活性炭100重量部に対して35重量部以上添着させてなる液状炭化水素中の水銀除去用活性炭が前記課題を解決した。

Description
(1)保水率50〜70%の活性炭に、ハロゲン化アルカリを活性炭100部に対して35部以上添着させてなる液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭、
(2)ハロゲン化アルカリがよう化カリウムである上記(1)記載の液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭、
(3)水銀又は水銀化合物を含有する液状炭化水素に上記(1)または(2)の活性炭を接触させる液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物の除去方法、
(4)保水率50〜70%の活性炭とハロゲン化アルカリの水溶液を混合し、活性炭100重量部に対して35重量部以上のハロゲン化アルカリを添着させ、乾燥する液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭の製造法、および
(5)ハロゲン化アルカリがよう化カリウムである上記(4)記載の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭の製造法、
である。
保水率(%)={(W-W0)/W}×100(%)
賦活された原料活性炭の液状窒素中での窒素吸着等温線からCI法により求めた細孔容積は、0.3〜2.0 ml/g、好ましくは0.5〜1.8 ml/g、さらに好ましくは0.6〜1.5 ml/gである。

[水銀平衡吸着実験]
また、本発明のいずれの活性炭(添着活性炭No.1〜4)およびNo.5の添着活性炭は、活性炭からのよう化カリウムの溶出は認められず、天然ガスコンデンセートの性能を損なう懸念がないことが確認されたが、比較例のNo.6の添着活性炭は僅かながらよう化カリウムが検出された。
[液状炭化水素中の水銀除去実験]
よう化カリウム添着活性炭No.1からNo.6について、活性炭処理後の天然ガスコンデンセート中の水銀濃度が10μg/Lになるまでの処理日数を比較した。結果を表2に示した。
Claims (5)
- 保水率50〜70%の活性炭に、ハロゲン化アルカリを活性炭100重量部に対して35重量部以上添着させてなる液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭。
- ハロゲン化アルカリが、よう化カリウムである請求項1記載の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭。
- 水銀又は水銀化合物を含有する液状炭化水素に請求項1又は2の活性炭を接触させる液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物の除去方法。
- 保水率50〜70%の活性炭とハロゲン化アルカリの水溶液を混合し、活性炭100重量部に対して35重量部以上のハロゲン化アルカリを添着させ、乾燥する液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭の製造法。
- ハロゲン化アルカリがよう化カリウムである請求項4記載の液状炭化水素中の水銀又は水銀化合物除去用活性炭の製造法。
